Best Sicilian Gelato we have ever eaten. Lemon Ice and numerous flavors are excellent. The Italian handmade pastries are to die for. A must stop for all Gelato and Italian pastry lovers.

Gelato so good you will think that you are in Italy. For chocolate lovers, try the baci chocolate hazelnut. Classics like the lemon ice, pistachio almond ,zuppa inglese and tira mi su are also heavenly. Save room for the pastries--or take some to go.

Visiting hometown and took teenagers there. Always excellent. A must for locals and tourists. Excellent authentic cannoli, gelato, and Italian cookies, best spumoni on the plant. Truly. visited one in Rome and was amazed at how authentic the one in Nola was.

We took the trolley car here from the French Quarter. We arrived just before they got really busy and were waited on right away. The cannoli was a mixture of traditional ricotta filling and a cocoa version. The amaretto gelato was creamy and had great flavor. There were a ton of other things I wanted to try but restrained myself.... More

Gelato (creamy and full of flavor) and Tira mi su cake (light and divine). OMG!! Plus, we left with a box of other pastries. Lovely people work there. Our next trip to NOLA will require a return visit to Brocato. A real treasure and must do.

Almond Crescents and Scadalini are the best. Seasonal ice! Regina biscotti are addictive! Beware! No cure!

I'm 65 now and as a kid, going to Brocato's for Spumoni was the treat for all times! Brought my wife there for the first time, she loved it and for me it was stepping back in time. Hard to find parking, at 9 pm it was packed, but worth the hassle.

We were looking for gelato and boy did we find it! Also an assortment if other Italian treats. We took a couple to go after our gelato. Fresh, creamy and full of flavor. Staff was cheerful, prompt and very helpful. Treated us tourists the same as the locals. A definite must!

A New Orleans tradition. So it tends to be busy with a long line, but worth the wait. Or go at a slow time and indulge yourself by eating in at one of the few tables. Gelato and ices are superb and the pastries are fresh and varied. Do yourself a favor, skip a couple of meals, and spend the... More
