Enjoyed the pastries but the real highlight was the gelato. The pannacotta was amazing, and would taste phenomenal with fruity varieties of gelato. Highly recommend.

After reading some reviews, my wife & I decided to stop in. The shop is small & was full, which caused it to be very loud in there. We both got gelato & decided to just take it with us. The gelato was very good so I would recommend it

I love this place. Maybe a biased opinion since I've been going to Brocatos for over 10 years, but it's the best. The atmosphere is very intimate and New Orleans, and the ice cream and pastries are just awesome! Love it!

Excellent Italian pastries and gelato. Seating was a little tight, but worth it for the delicious treats! I had the espresso gelato and the canolis.

Well worth a stop if you're in the neighborhood. We came across it on a Sunday midday and just happened to snag the one parking space available in front. We found no crowd, maybe 6-8 others. (For other times, it has signage showing where to line up and WAIT. During their peak season you'll probably have to park a few... More

If it's ice cream, and rated in the top 10 of ALL restaurants in New Orleans, I'm there. It really is as good as they say. It was hard to choose from the many favors of gelato but given where we were, my husband and I had the pralines and cream. It was heavenly. Then I had to have the... More

Loved the gelato, but the prize was the Satsuma Ice. Expensive, however. Not a cheap outing. You may also have to contend with a line.

My husband and I recently visited Angelo Brocato's Ice Cream Parlor for the first time on December 17 in mid-afternoon. I had read about Angelo Brocato's in the Lonely Planet Guide and that it was established in 1905, and I was dying to try it! I was not disappointed! They have a large selection of gelatos and fresh Italian pastries.... More
