I give this a five star for the genuine Sicilian cookies and pastries, better than most I have had in Sicily or the U.S. But first, I want to be clear: the gelato is over sweet, the coconut subpar, the stratciatella disappointing: too sweet, not enough chocolate strips. But the cookies: biscotti regina like none I have had since my... More

Love it! The cheesecake, the ice cream and gelato, the Italian cookies and just everything they sell is just wonderful. Don't be put off if there is a line or you have to circle the block to get a parking spot. It is well worth the effort. Great place for family, friends, couples or solo. We go often.

First, Brocato's is not a restaurant. It is an Italian ice cream parlor. It serves wonderful coffees, all kinds of homemade ice creams and homemade cookies - all Italian. The Brocato family is very friendly and the service is always good. A great place to go with out-of-town friends after dinner. I highly recommend!

This is the quintessential Old New Orleans dessert spot. Coffee , gelato, pastries, spumoni, cannoli and much more. Reminiscent of an ice cream parlor. A unique slice of New Orleans culture.

Brocato's is a NOLA institution. It has been part of local life and culture for decades. The ice cream is excellent, the gelato is outstanding, and then there are the Italian cookies and canolis. Baby christening celebrations include the fabulous colored almonds for good luck, and thousands of cookies are bought in conjunction with St. Joseph Day (March 19). The... More

it s really a look back in time. this is no baskin-robbins. this is Italian ice and treats of all kinds from way back. sometimes the wait staff gets impatient but its not my fault they have so many things to choose from ( if you have trouble though, you can get little samples )

This was our first visit and it was so yummy! My family and I each had different flavors....and we thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Also, loved the history of the shop.
