Enjoy the catch of the day

Fresh out of the sea and the photos on the wall prove it. You cant go wrong with you choice of soup, fish, oysters or calamari and perhaps you need more than one trip to get it all. Nice service too. New Orleans fish restaurants do not offer bread unless you ask for it. The bread however is not... read more

Stopped here for a late lunch. I had oysters on half shell for an appetizer. They were fresh and almost the size of a hamburger patty!! Enough food that I wasted about half of my lunch sandwich. Fair selection of local beers.Service was fast and professional.

I was here for a conference and staying near the conference cents - so the walking distance was close. My disappointment started with arriving, without reservation at 6:00 asking for a table for 5. We were told 15 minutes - and it ended up being 1 hour and 15 minutes. when our table was finally ready, I asked for a... More

We stopped by a couple of times for drinks/appetizers and dinner one night...both visits were excellent in the quality of food, drinks and service. Not to mention, the restaurant has a great location and ambiance to it. The service was very good, actually, in our top ten globally... Our drinks were spot on..and as usual, tasty as ever...beer was cold... More

I usually am not into hotel/casino-affiliated restaurants but I've been to Grand Isle three times over the last three years and every time have had one of my most memorable meals eaten in New Orleans. The crawfish boil is so good - a pound of crawfish, corn, sausage, and mushrooms. Simple but super delicious. The cocktails are always really well-made.... More

I would like to review the food at this restaurant, but that is impossible since our group was turned away. We were a group of 17 (families) looking for a place to eat after our girls had a cheer competition meeting. We went to Grand Isle to see about eating there. The lady at the hostess stand was more than... More

My wife and I enjoyed our hamburger and wine for dinner so much, we returned the next evening to repeat the experience. We had another hamburger with a different wine this time (we share a meal as we do not eat as much). We can safely say that the Grand Isle hamburgers are some of the best we have ever... More

Needed to have a quick dinner. Walked in without a reservation and were seated within 10 minutes - the town was hopping. Food was hot and fixed as ordered.

Had the special of the day - Deep fried whole snapper. It was more expensive than anything on the menu and there was nothing special about it. My significant other had the ribs which where mostly fat. I can cook better meals than this. Not worth what we paid.
