The food is good. It is a little pricy. The place is small and the waiters do not get everything right. The waiter bought me the wrong type of wine twice and I still had to pay for it. Must places would have made it complementary.

My friends and I came to LA namely for food. We stopped here to get out of the sun and get something to eat since we were still a bit away from our hotel. The food was okay but the beer kind of sucked. The room they put us in was well air conditioned though. The staff ended up screaming... More

We were referred to this little corner restaurant by a local friend. We were not disappointed! Excellent food, excellent service. There were three of us, we each tried something different. I had the Crawfish Pasta Estrellita, my stepson had the Taste of New Orleans and my husband had the Roast Beef Po-boy. All of our meals were wonderful! Do yourself... More

Stumbled upon them our first day ready to eat and experience New Orleans food and hospitality. We were not disappointed. We chose to sit downstairs off the street, but inside and balcony dining were both options . Our waiter was smiling, knowledgable and attentive. We ate the taste of New Orleans and the blackened red fish . Both were ample... More

Great food, great service, great ambiance. Sit up top on the balcony and get a great view of the surrounding area. We ordered the Blackened Chicken Alfredo and the Crawfish Pasta Estrellita... simply delicious! Also, get a "Swamp Water" if looking for a fun mixed drink. Definitely recommend this place!

Was torn on how to rate this place as I have definitely had better creole/cajun food throughout NOLA and the gulf region. That said, I went with the 4 stars due to the ambiance, location, and how amazingly kid friendly this place is. Portions are right for the price and there is nothing wrong with the flavor of the dishes... More

The staff at Maison De Ville recommended this place to us because we wanted to go somewhere that had good authentic Cajun food....and this place was the perfect choice! We had the "Taste of New Orleans" which included Red Beans & Rice, Jambalaya, Chicken & Andouille Gumbo and Crawfish Étouffée. Mmmm good! If you want great food without spending a... More

Great food, great price, and a great server! Had the lobster stuffed redfish and the best mojito ever...a dragonberry mojito. We had a party of 6 with a couple vegetarians and everyone enjoyed it. Thanks tripadvisor!

We had an afternoon appetizer at Chartres House after walking around the French Quarter. As always, the food and service were terrific! It's always a relaxing dining experience!

We were actually walking towards a different restaurant further down, but hunger overcame us and on a whim we stopped here. Best decision!! We were seated at one of the French doors which gave us a great view to people watch. We started our meal with the fried green tomato chips, which comes with cajun ranch and marinara (we also...
