So we were tired and stopped here to sit on the balcony and have a drink. Decided to eat dinner, so happy we did. First off, service is super friendly and happy to have you. Second, the food is inexpensive and very good. The crawfish stuffed fish was so delicious. My date enjoyed the crawfish etouffe and the last of... More

We eat here on a regular basis whenever we come to New Orleans. The blackened shrimp and etouffee dishes are amazing. As is the blackened gator. The bar staff is friendly and the atmosphere is really cool, fireplace in the winter, open air in the summer.

With all the food options in and around the quarter I rarely eat at the same place twice let alone twice in the same trip. We ate here for lunch one day after a tour...we were soaking wet but they very accommodating. Brought some friends back another day, also for lunch. On both occasions the food and the service were... Thank you for stopping by, not once, but twice. Having someone come by for more than one meal during their visit to New Orleans is quite the compliment. Thanks again & we hope to see you again. More

Some nice veggie options, which are few and far between in NO. Mostly a beer place but some nice ( and reasonable) wine options.

You can't go wrong eating and drinking someplace where a world-famous playwright ate. We ate here before an evening walking tour, and while I expected (and wasn't disappointed by) great ambiance, I didn't expect jambalaya that made me practically want to lick the bowl clean. Yum!! Will likely return here on our next trip.

I'm so glad you enjoyed the Jambalaya. I'm sure it was the perfect meal to have before a walking tour, not too heavy yet still satisfying. We would be delighted to have you back. See you soon. More

A charming, romantic and historical sight, this little gem is very subtle. The service is personal and sincere, the mood is intimate and the food is amazing! We had the shrimp Caesar Salad (their Blackened Shrimp is on point) the Corn & Lobster Bisque is smooth, velvety and very flavourful. For the entree, we enjoyed the Taste of New Orleans.... More

Thank you for that lovely review. We pride ourselves in being that "cozy, family friendly" spot just steps away from all that is Bourbon St. We hope can come again. Autumn is a great time of year to sit on the balcony or in our interior courtyard. More

For our first trip to New Orleans this was a good place for my husband and I to sample a variety of cajun dishes. We began with the Fried Green Tomato Chips which were crispy and flavorful. My husband ordered the Crawfish Ettoufee and I enjoyed "A Taste of New Orleans" which included smaller portions of Red Beans and Rice,... More

Service was good but unfortunately the food was not very good, the wings and our burger and fries tasted like it had been mixed in someone else alligator dish

i must admit that we only went to this restaurant because we had a coupon for a free appetizer. I know that the whole purpose of going to NOLA is to drink eat...sadly, we arent much of either. We went to see the architecture and immerse ourselves in the history of the area. I am so glad that we went... More

This was the first place I ate in New Orleans, so I ordered the sampler to split with my friend. It had rice and beans, crawfish etouffee, gumbo, and jambalaya. Everything was delicious! I am still thinking about the Jambalaya!
