Cozy dinner tucked into the French quarter

While walking through the French quarter we decided to stop here for dinner in a friend's recommendation . I liked the dark wood and bar, it had a cozy bistro feel to it. We were disappointed the upstairs patio and courtyard were closed but getting to sit in the main dining area also meant we... read more

The fish dishes were superbly prepared and plated. Service is friendly--even at the busiest times. Like many restaurants in New Orleans, it is noisy--combination of the ambiance in the establishment, as well as all the open doors on a busy corner. Good value

We went here for dinner one evening. It was pretty busy, and at first they sat us at a table in the sun. It quickly got too hot, so we asked to be moved inside. We wanted a salad before our dinner, but there are no side salads or dinner salads on the menu, but the waiter said they could... More

Service was good, price wasn't bad. Our waiter was good and attentive, it was his first day. I got the chicken Alfredo and expected a little more spice to it than I got. Husband got a sampler and he liked all four items he got. Not bad for afternoon meal.

We walked up to this restaurant from the side. Didn't look that great on the outside. We saw it was a full bar and they had the menu in the window. We asked the young man that greeted us how was the food, and of course he had a favorable response. We decided to go for it and order dinner.... More

the worst service we had in four days in the city. Bobby G the waitress was slow and forgetful. Stood at the front door waiting for the host when we were rudely told by a waitress that is the hosts job when inquiring about table. Clearly over service even for a town that is promoted as a party town. table... More

Been going here for a few years now-it's convenient, cool space and a nice cajun menu. But the food/service has gone downhill. Very average and service kind of slow. There are better places in New Orleans to grab a good dinner.

Have an apartment on the same block and wanted to grab a quick bite with rain threatening what a pleasant surprise. The staff were helpful and friendly. Prices were very reasonable with the highest price fish offering being $19.00. My wife ordered Cashew Crusted Redfish while at the waiters recommendation I ordered a less expensive Crawfish Stuffed Fish. They were... More

French Quarter Festival has been great so far, and we needed a place to have brunch. We selected this place because the reviews were good and it catered to Vegetarians more than some places. I had the Taste of New Orleans, and my wife had the marinated Portobello Mushroom. The dishes I selected were the Red Beans and Rice, Cajun... More
