We ate here for the 1/2 price happy hour. Fantastic oysters, crisp fries, charcuterie was impressive, and the bread pudding was the best I've had in New Orleans. Drinks were unique and with everything being 1/2 price, you can't go wrong. We ended going back for breakfast and that was superb. I... read more

I've eaten at Luke in San Antonio several times and have been a fan since my first bite there. When I planned our trip to New Orleans, it seemed a no-brainer that we needed to try the NOLA Luke.. and I'm so glad we did. If it's possible, this location far surpasses the SA location in terms of atmosphere and... More

This is a very popular restaurant in New Orleans, and for good reason. The food is remarkable and the service is even better. We ate there 3 times in 3 days, I reserved the tables online through open table and had no problems at all, even though it was after parades late night and during Mardi Gras. Oysters galore if... Overall , the food was ok, and over priced. The charcuterie platter was a let down. We called ahead on Sunday brunch, asked for timings, got there and they said: "too late, no more breakfast items". Service was average; long time between courses. The specialty drink French 75's were quite good. Would not go again. Over-rated.

The French 75 and collection of oysters are a classic during happy hour ( until 6 pm I believe). Food quality and service are excellent. I eat at the bar usually, but if you want a table you may want to look into dinner reservations in advance ( online or call). I went on a Friday and they were fully... More

We went for happy hour where the drinks were 1/2 off and the oysters were $0.75 each. It's a pretty popular spot so make a reservation. If you can't get a spot at the bar, be prepared to wait because the oyster shuckers can't keep up with the demand and the bar is served first.

The food quality and the service is very good. I however prefer a more traditional preparation of my meals. The menu is slim, but the quality is good if you like that item and what it comes with. The house made fries are very good as is the bread. I had the shrimp a grits and while it tasted good,... More

It was my parent's anniversary so I was looking for a special place for them to have dinner. I had heard many things about Luke so I made the reservation there. It was very easy to make the reservation online through a third-party site. On the day of the reservation, I called to ensure that the reservation was there. I... More

Ate at Luke during happy hour. A bit crowded but we were seated within 10 minutes (without a reservation). Oysters only 75 cents. Given the crowded time as everyone was trying to get in their oyster order before prices increased, the wait for food was to be expected. Food quality was good and quantity more than adequate .

Great brunch menu. We actually tried to get reservations to Commanders palace but the place was booked. I had already gone to one of Chef Besh's other restaurants in New Orleans and so I checked out the menu. Looked good so we made a reservation on open table. They do provide valet if you drive but I recommend parking across... More
