It's both hard and not hard to be a good bar in the FQ. Service was fast, the locals were fun, the beer was cheap. Also, the name made for a great joke. Lastly, get the fried green beans. Fried green beans. Again, fried green beans.

We went for breakfast and were not disappointed. Yes, it is smokey bordeline unsavory kjnd of place, but everyone was friendly and the food was good. There was a local cop eating there who had the same thing I ordered (country fried steak and eggs). My wife had an omelet and we both enjoyed them. Our waitress (Worm) was friendly... More

The drinks were faaaaantastic. I had 2 long island ice teas and that suited me just fine (and I can drink like a fish). The gumbo was pretty good. The fried catfish and fries were average - the fish could have used more seasoning. Overall, it's a decent place to grab some late night munchies and drinks. I'd go back.

definitely an all night dive bar but you just can't argue with great biscuits and gravy! ignore the rest of the reviews - if you're up for a smoky-roomed, down and dirty breakfast, it can't be beat! great coffee too !

Prices, hours, service, food, colorful local flavor...it's all good. Can be smokey, but it's a bar a block of bourbon.

We decided to eat here mainly because there were places to sit, and it had good reviews. The interior was a typical bar scene, but it was clean. Somewhat smokey. There were occasional homeless people coming in and out, but based on the local crowd I don't think this would be atypical of any bar near Bourbon St. The waiter... More

Right across the street from our hotel Prince Conti. Excellent steak and eggs. Good drink specials. Very clean. Nicely decorated for the holidays.l

We walked into Deja Vu for breakfast because it was raining and it was directly across the street from our hotel. We got there around 10am and I think most of the clientele was still awake from the night before. The place was extremely smoky and for the 60 seconds we were in there, I walked out smelling like a... More

I've been going to Deja Vu (to eat, not hang out/drink) for a long time, mostly after partying in the Quarter. It's always been good for what it is. This time I had what most people go to Deja Vu for: the burgers. Couple of nice things about this place is that it really IS 24/7 and open EVERY day... More

This is a local kinda place...open 24 hours, with good food at reasonable prices, a block from Bourbon Street. The eggs, french toast w bacon is super and the homemade corned beef hash...eat it !!
