We missed our hotel's breakfast time so we walked around the corner to Déjà Vu. We weren't expecting much, but were pleasantly surprised. My husband's Cajun omelette was delicious and our server (I think it said Noelle on the ticket) was nice. It wasn't busy, so we didn't have to wait very long for our food. We'll definately be back... After several hours spent at Harrah's, my husband and I were STARVING and looking for a 24-hour place that was close to our hotel (stay at Grenoble House!!). This place was only a block away and didn't look crowded so we stopped in. Deja Vu is definitely a dive, but we don't mind dives since one of our favorite bars... More

After checking out of the Prince Conti Hotel right across the street from Deja Vu, we had some time to kill before hacing to get to the airport and eventually made our way here. The air was on and its definitely a plus in New Orleans...we didnt have any food but only cocktails. Its just an average bar that I... More

The Walking Tour was going to meet near this restaurant so I thought I'd go a little early and grab breakfast there. HUGE mistake! It was predominately filled with employees sitting around the bar (and a couple at a table) smoking and complaining about the recent health inspection and all the work they have to do now... and that "everywhere... We stopped in this bar one evening and were glad we did. It was a quiet bar with simple meals but a lot easier to get served then on Bourbon Street. The prices were very reasonable too

friendly staff and efficient kitchen make this a popular spot for after its time to leave the bars (though the fact that they serve alcohol 24/7 can be just as dangerous). greasy spoon style, so don't expect to find great gumbo or etouffee here... just exactly what it is you need after a night out in french quarter

If you like Bloody Marys you definitely have to stop in here. I totally understand the various mixed reviews. I've been going to this place for years and it can be hit or miss. There are definitely times when its pretty smoky but that's what happens in a town where you can smoke indoors. The food is bar food, I've... More

Bar food, nothing special. I wouldn't consider this a restaurant but a bar that serves food. It was extremely smoky inside which make for an unpleasant experience. I was also shocked to see that the waiter, who was friendly but not outstanding, added 20% gratuity to our ticket for a party of 4.
