Great place to stay while visiting NOLA

I think it is the best RV option while visiting NOLA. The sites are a bit narrow, but are plenty deep to accommodate larger rigs or for sitting outside. Having a restaurant and bar with entertainment is a great convenience however the food is average and the service very slow so be patient. The... read more

What a great place to stay.....right on the water! They have shuttles in and out of the French Quarter each day.....we took the 10 am shuttle in and was picked up promptly at 8 pm that night.....enough time to take in some sights....and it was a gorgeous comfortable day to boot! It is quite a bit of money per night... More

We had a great time staying at The Ponchartrain Landing & RV Park. The RV park is GREAT!! The restaurant ok, its convenient if your staying in the park. Service was slow, we had to get up to get a waitresses attention and menus. Food was average bar & grill type food. Value for the price was a little high.... More

We needed a quick getaway and an evening of fun. We arrived at 2 pm promptly assisted to our space by two guys making sure we fit in and could back in. We used our passport America and got a great discount. We used the shuttle to the French Quarter to see Bourbon street and have dinner. Upon returning we... More

This RV park was money well spent from Hurricane Katrina recovery money. This entire area was wiped out and now sits a very nice well laid out RV park. They have guest services that are first rate and the park has a beautiful view of the intercostal waterway. Very nice people greet you and take care of you. They have... More

I do believe these are the finest in NOLA. Portion are definitely smaller than in past visits. We try to make this a must each year on our road trip. Absolutely couldn't wait to get here this year. Not disappointed!!! The bar keep certainly does not skimp on the booze in your drink. Oh. Yeah. Great first evening in New... More

We were traveling with three young girls, so we needed something for them to do. We rented one of the presidential sites that has a cabana with hot tub. The site is nice, being a presidential you would think it would be the largest and nicest for the price you pay. When you call they tell you have to pay... More

Very first time at this restaurant. It was recommended by some friends. It is nicely tucked away slightly off the beaten path. The food was very good. My wife had the crab cakes, I had the barbecue ribs - the whole rack and it was a very generous serving. More than I could eat. The only knock is they serve... More

This is not a review of the restaurant but the RV park. This is a wonderful RV park to stay at that also has a large collection of rental units for you folks that do not own an RV. They offer bus service down to the French Quarter so you can leave the driving to them. Brand new facilities that... More

The staff in the store were helpful. They have nice large sites, with picnic table on site. Gravel down for you to park on. They have a fenced dog play yard, fencing needed a bit of repair work, but grass was cut, garbage can and poop bags available and picnic table to sit on. Nice pool, I did not go... More
