Nice Place to Rest but a Bit Gentrified Feeling

My husband and I stopped in after vising the Back Street Culture Museum (go there if you are near this coffee house). We were blown away by what we had learned and needed to talk about it and rest a little. The building is very well kept but felt a big gentrified. Inside was clean, air... read more

We stopped twice over two days while visiting the Treme section. The beverages were delightful and the coffeehouse was a restful place to get our bearings for the remains of the day.

City Segway Tour groups take a coffee break here. I'm glad it does. The espresso is delicious and they can make a proper macchiato, which incidentally, is not a cup of milk with a bit of coffee added. The cafe also makes cortados, which is have never seen outside of Spain. They'll serve you a massive slice of chocolate cake... More

We stopped here on our segway tour for a quick drink and bathroom break. The ice mocha coffee was good, it hit the spot after a long segway ride. The cappuccino was a little to hot to enjoy. We arrived around 3:30 ish and the food selection was limited. The cake/spice cake was enjoyable so was the chocolate cookie.

Stopped in here for 10 minutes of so as part of a Tour Tremé walking tour last week (the tour was excellent, btw). Seems like a really cozy neighborhood place. Nice vibe. Locals (I assume) sitting around with their laptops, books, etc., but we felt very welcome. The chocolate muffin I had was as delish as it looked (I love... More

Stopped by this cute cafe on the way around the city on a tour it was the perfect place to grab a coffee and a small treat. I highly recommend the iced mocha as well as the fruit tart (even wanted to go back and grab another!) The lady behind the counter was very friendly and personable, even making some... More

My first visit here was on a walking tremé tour & our guide made stop here for a break. I had a latte & it was pretty good, the service was quick & friendly enough. I was in the area the next day & decided to stop by with a friend for an iced tea to cool off. When we... More

Had very tasty couple of paninis. With a side of fresh strawberries. Iced latte was also decend/ flavorful enough for a European palate. The menu is not very wide, but for quick lunch, you should be able to find nice options. While catering for the Segway tours, the place retains neighbourhood feeling. We eavesdropped in a private french tutoring session... More

We stopped here during our City Segway Tour (amazing by the way) and we were instantly in love with the outside design of the building. Once inside, the staff was extremely helpful and attentive to whatever questions we had about their menu. We ordered the Caprese panini and two iced coffees. Everything was perfect... What more can I say? The... More

A small, quaint coffee house with great prices, yummy pastries and friendly service. It was a stop along our Segway tour and we were really happy that our guide took us.
