Best French pastries - yum?

Almond croissant, pain au chocolate, croissant, fruit tarts. Great decor and ambiance. A great breakfast spot, and a great spot to pick up goodies for home gatherings.

Chocolate filled croissant was great. Mocha was barely warm. Used their microwave to warm it up and the croissant. Staff was okay. Very clean and a pretty good assortment.

I loved this cheerful French bakery. The apple turnover is a must-have! Delicious - you will not be disappointed. The croissants with jam were also perfection. It's pricy, but worth the trip down memory lane of my vacation to France many years ago.

La Boulangerie still feels new to me, even though they have been on Magazine for a while. They offer excellent breads. The pastries are outstanding. It is a great place for a quick breakfast on Magazine Street. If you are nearby during Carnival Season, La Boulangerie makes some great king cakes.

What else is there to say? We happened to spot this place on our way to the zoo and stopped for some lunch. It was so good we ended up hitting it again on our way out of town! A great selection of sandwiches, or construct your own. I had turkey and brie on baguette and it was amazing. The... More

I was really excited to try La Boulangerie when I saw how close it was to the place we were staying in NOLA. I had read good reviews, and it was a beautiful morning for a walk. Well, it wasn't crowded when I got there, and I ordered a quiche Florentine. I had to ask for it to be heated,... More

It is about 15mn from downtown but it is worth it! Especially if like my whole family we miss French bread since we moved to the States. What is good: the croissants, the baguettes, the loaves. The pastries just looked great but I did not taste them. Coffee: is just average for a French person. Go: it is worth it.

We were looking for a nice lunch after a busy morning in the garden district. With so many choices we asked a few of the locals where they'd go & happy we took their advice. We felt like we were in Provence from the delicious bread/sandwiches to the wide assortment of french pastries. The staff was so friendly & efficient... More
