my shower was suppose to have continuous food served from two o'clock pm to five o'clock pm my baby shower started off bad when the waitress asked if she should start frying the food for the shower that had already began. more food needed to be put out for my guest but I was constantly reminded that they also had... Was there with colleauges . Soup was on not good but not bad. Main dish was catfish with mashed potatoes. Dish looked dull and boring. Fish (well i could not taste what it was) was covered in thick dough with a small piece of fish inside. Potatoes werr tasteless and haf strange look. My colleagues who had veal had same... More

These people who didn't like Smiley's must be from out of town (Yankee's) because I never had a problem with the food. Going there tonight to a Birthday party! Geaux Tigers! Beat Bama!!! :)

This was kind of a mixed visit. While not overly expensive, they have old fashioned service. Real linens, etc. And my waitress Catherine was super! She used the proper salutation to address me (in the South acceptable names to call your customers are "Sweetie", "Baby", "Darling", or "Sugar.") The gumbo I had as an appetizer was as good as I... 9th table is for staff meeting & discussions with people scheduling "special events" in the next 2 rooms, both of which we witnessed right next to the table we had. greeter/owner seems to be augie lopez, former proprietor of defunct "glass garden" restaurant in metairie. service was slow due to an event in one of 2 special rooms. they also... I enjoyed the meal here. Excellent service, wonderful atmosphere, reasonable prices. If you are tired of eating at chain restaurants, this is the place.

Tried to go here for dinner last night. Parking lot was full, so figured we would have to wait - lots of people dressed up for a party. Went in and the man told us they were full up and couldn't help us. Was very rude about it. My husband is down here working with lots of other people, he... More

Bottomline: I usually do not do reviews and this is really my first time writing a review. But, our experience here has been so horrible that I am motivated to share our negative experience. The food is just about average but overpriced. The server was rude and absolutely disgusting. Will never go again and would not recommend. Details of our... More

If you are not an old man you may not get service here. I was always unimpressed and the last time was my absolute final attempt at giving them my business. In my opinion (and i have family that will hate to hear me say this but) whatever they once had they have lost many moons ago.

I love it! The food is delicious and Julio and Cesar are great to listen to! The Trout Meuniere is to die for, but I usually get the filet mignon and big luscious shrimp! MMMMMMMMMMmmmmm!! The bread pudding makes me swoon - *faints* - omg it's all so delicious and you can sit and watch the game in the other... More
