Lattes are pretty much Starbucks quality, but nothing more, actually had thought would be stronger because of the nature of N.O. coffee, but not at P.J.'s. Pastries are o.k., had blueberry muffins, croissants, and almond croissants over the course of 3 mornings, all just a little heavier than we like, but not bad by any means. Service is quick and... Every visit to New Orleans I am reminded of PJ's great coffee; this morning I gobbled down an amazing freshly made, egg and (real Swiss) cheese sandwich on a croissant! Yum! Caffeine and a base for the day ahead. All this plus clean cafe and sidewalk dining. What could be better?

Fast service, good regular coffee (no fru-fru's), plus a bananna and a blueberry muffin. I sat a spell and enjoyed my breakfast.

Coffee was okay. I had a turkey wrap that I had to wait over ten minutes for while 10 other customers were served behind me. I got back in line to remind the counter that I was waiting for the wrap. Interesting little shop. The building is not very wide. Reminds me of a hot dog stand. The adjacent table... More

Almond croissant not edible, coffee mediocre. Service friendly. Cool atmosphere. If you are going to serve pastries on New Orleans, they should at least be edible. There are too many good bakeries to serve terrible pastries.

I ordered coffee and muffin, after I had paid and gotten my order I'm told that they close in five minutes.. I guess I could look at the opening hours on the door before entering but I still think he should have told me before I ordered.. He tells me that I can move outside when they close (the weather... As soon as we walked in the barista said "I can't make any hot coffee drinks" without ANY reason or explanation. My wife and i was looking for cupcakes or something for our daughters first bday(was her third bday party, so we were going easy lol). We bought 6 cake balls for $2 plus. I was a bit put off... More

I work near this PJ's and cannot tell enough about this cute/funky hide-away in the Central Business District. First, the staff is very freindly. The atmosphere is bright and cheery. It is a bit on the small side but there is seating outside. The eclectic music is the best in the city (mostly from South America and Europe) and of... More
