As good as any in France. We tried the blueberry and chocolate and they were delicious but the true star here is the croissant itself. Croissants have been so overdone and poorly at that, I had given up eating them. We went there based on the reviews we read here and after eating here remembered how good they can be.... more

This neat little bakery is on a quiet street in the Quarter. I had heard about their excellent croissant, so I wanted to give them a try one day for breakfast. I had an almond croissant and a blueberry croissant and they were both fabulous. My friend had a ham and cheese croissant and a raspberry croissant and she loved... more

I LOVE this place. The croissants are absolutely delightful. My favorite (and recommendation) is the blueberry croissant. There's 1 day week it's closed (sorry I don't remember which) and it closes at 2 each day, so if you're going for a light lunch or brunch, get there early! more

The shop is quaint and the food very good - as described by many reviewers. My husband thought the chocolate croissant was the best he ever had. But we found the service to be awful. Such a bad vibe that we could not wait to leave and would not go back. Possibly it was just the one person who was... more

Stopped here for breakfast croissants on the way out of town. It is on the east side of the Quarter so hadn't made it that far on our walks around town but it was well worth the detour. Picked up a fruit tart, napoleon, chocolate dome, and raspberry croissants. The chocolate mousse domes were unbelievably good. They were composed of... more

This is a cool, off the beaten path cafe but don't get the carrot cake. The only people who will like this carrot cake is people who usually don't eat carrot cake. Only one layer of it is carrot cake. The other layer is white cake. And they put two layers of icing in it. And I'm not sure, but... more

We happened across this fabulous bakery on our first morning in New Orleans and ended up coming back every day for 4 days. It's simple, inexpensive, the food is wonderful, and the service is quick and friendly. I had a perfect chocolate croissant and double espresso for less than $4. more

I would highly recommend the almond croissant. It was really great. It has this wonderful not too powerful creamy center. We also had the ham and cheese breakfast croissant one day and I would say that was about average. Before 11 there seems to be quite a line. Their coffee was just ok. more

This pastry shop was a stop on a walking tour we followed out of our guide book. We thought we would have a quick cafe au lait and be on our way, but we were paralyzed by all the choices in the bakery case. The almond croissant is sinful. Try the raspberry croissant as well. They were so inexpensive ($1.50... more

What can I say? We stumbled on this place on the first day and we came back every day on our three day stay in New Orleans. I may have gained some weight but the almond croissants are well worth it. more
