This place was garbage. I stopped because they were open on Sunday. My friend and I made a simple order. It wasn't very busy but it still managed to take 20 minutes or so for the order to be done. When I got it, my food was cold. I really wasn't impressed and won't go back, Sunday or not.

This bar is a ton of fun when there is a game going on, absolutely recommend but be sure to get there pretty early, the picnic style tables fill up quickly!

With Cochon and Butcher across the street, this place needs to change or die. Smelled like cleaning fluid and staff acted like they were play acting at a mortuary. Food was not much better. Counting the days...

Terrible 'BBQ' it was not.....just terrible. The roast beef po boy tasted like it was cooked in five minutes and smothered in gravy. Horrible, chewy and took 30 minutes to get it. Might have been brisket, or aged rubber. Hard to tell...just close to WWII...only thing to say. Again, great reviews must be fixed....no way would any sensible, well adjusted... More

This place is nothing special -- it has it's own sort of hole in wall appeal I suppose. The employees were nice and the beer and chili were good! It was convenient since I had been at the conference center. I'd go again but wouldn't go out of my way for it.

It's hard for me to believe how far the Ugly Dog Saloon has fallen. My family and I have been coming to NOLA for years. We heard about Ugly Dog almost a decade ago and instantly fell in love. (OMG, that coleslaw!) Since then, we've always made it a point to eat there every time we visit the Crescent City.... More

This is just a short walk from the WWII Museum, and it is big and roomy with large picnic tables and excellent music playing. There is a tourist spot up the street with a line down the block: turn around and come over to the Ugly Dog, instead, and eat right away! The Brisket Tacos were the tastiest meal I've... More

We really enjoyed the ribs and the BBQ sauce but left everything else untouched! If you sit inside you will smell like smoke when you leave but there is outdoor seating. We really only ended up there because the wait at Cochon was too long but happy in the long run!

Have been here numerous times but never reviewed. You're probably wondering why I've been here so many times considering my review and it's strictly because of convinience and friends. Sometimes this place is just there and due to time constraints it's the default go to. Other times I go because my friends think this place is great and, frankly, it's... More
