Nice dining experience, not noisy so good for conversation. Our waiter was droll, attentive, and knew the menu. I had a great steak. My chocolate pecan pie was not so great. It tasted mostly like sugar, not chocolate. In fact, it had the texture of granulated sugar, too. My friend had a great crime brûlée. My mojito was pretty weak,... More

Had a private party of about 50 of us, the drum fish was absolutely fantastic, they provided great service and good food , what more could you ask for. They handled everyone well and all the meals were served hot and delicious. Had never been there before , and would have never guessed it.i believe reservations are a must!

Make a reservation! This is an old-fashioned Italian restaurant with waiters who know the menu and the food preparation. They have white tablecloths and cloth napkins but it's not pretentious at all. The service was very good and the food was excellent. Travel out of the French Quarter and try some of the restaurants in another part of the city.

We ended up at Tommy's Cuisine after searching for a quiet place to have dinner. There were eight of us and they were extremely pleasant and took us to a quiet room in the back. The food was excellent, our server was definitely the friendliest server we encountered the entire week. Prices were reasonable and as we had some picky... More

We worked with Emily to have our rehearsal dinner here for 15 people. I'm so glad I found this place as it was superb! Excellent food, service and ambiance! How this place doesn't pop up more for fine dining is beyond me. When looking for rehearsal dinners, the "showy name restaurants" kept popping up with the "showy name prices". Tommy's... More

We tried to get into an Emerils or a John Besh place to eat. Soo glad we couldn't get in. I had a crispy, juicy duck and John had drum fish topped with crab. I could eat in this quaint place every night. Ambiance was also superb and Sam answered every question we had and more.

It is wonderful food, wonderful service. They have a good selection of wines and the bartender was very helpful. They greeted us at the door but said there would be a small wait (most people that go there make reservations) oops :) We didnt know that. Next time we will be sure to call ahead to reserve a table. The wait... More

I heard about this place from a friend of mine who recommended it as a classy and fun place to have a glass of wine.I visited the Wine Bar not the restaurant. I was immediately impressed by the antique interior and furniture which had a upscale and unique bordello touch. There are also nice tables to sit outside when the... More

We had a fun evening for our group of about 40 at Tommy's Wine Bar. The waitstaff was friendly and attentive. We were passed some really good appetizers although the bruscetta and stuffed mushrooms were both very large and a little hard to eat standing with drinks in one hand. We were given a choice of entrees and my pollo... More
