We were seated as soon as we arrived. The decor is appealing and the service is attentive. Our waiter was good at making suggestions. The avocado salad with crab meat was the best dish I had. The fish was good but nothing special. The chocolate pecan pie was quite good. It was nice but we will probably look for other... More

But that's it. The food was good to mediocre, but was hard to appreciate because the service was so incredibly lacking. Laurie, I think her name was. Had no interest in her guests and no interest to help with suggestions. Ruined the experience for my colleague and I. Sorry we had dinner there.

Love the wine bar and old restaurant atmosphere. Nice Italian creole blends, great service. Did a meeting here, great meeting rooms, quiet for meeting.

I ate dinner here because I couldn't get into Pesche down the block. I imagine that this must be a tourist spot because there's no reason for locals not to eat great food in New Orleans. The food was ok; not great. The service was fine. The experience was completely forgettable. I cannot imagine why anyone goes back.

We ate hear because the restaurant one block north was overbooked and WAY too noisy. It was elegant without being pretentious. The service was superb. We had a veal based special dish and a special seafood with eggplant. Both were very delicious. Food is great and ambience for a quiet dinner is wonderful.

Great restaurant but you have to use your iphone flashlight app to read the menu. Our waiter, Steve knew how everything on the menu was prepared, very knowlegable of the wine offerings and overall very helpful. I had the duck and it was delicious. All the parties other dishes looked fantastic and plentiful. Would recommend Tommy's to anyone.

The food was amazing, but the best part of our meal was the waiter! We were in a fairly large group, and he made us all feel relaxed and entertained, helped us to make great food and wine selections, and then dealt graciously with separating our bills.

We walked in off the street on a Friday night. We had no idea if they could even seat us. The man who met us at the door was so friendly. He wanted to help us as we had just flown for over 10 hours due to flight delays. It is such an eclectic interior with low lighting, dark clad... More

The food at Tommy's was excellent. I had the duck with wild rice. The favor of the duck was very good, although it was a tad tough, even for duck. The wild rice was some of the best I've eaten. And save room for dessert! The chocolate pecan pie is a must!!!! Our waiter was a bit terse, but the... More
