I found the Praline Connection to be a fantastic place to dine. The food was perfect and the service was great. It had a true New Orleans feel. I would highly suggest it to anyone visiting New Orleans and wants a true New Orleans dining experience.

This was our 2nd visit here - the 1st was 2 years ago when we just happened upon the place ! It was the staff uniforms that caught our eye..... This time we brought 2 friends and everything was as good as last time. The catfish was gorgeous, and the chicken and the cornbread are to die for ! Big... More

Excellent soul food meal. Had the platter and got to try everything. Waiters were friendly and helpful. Frenhmen Street is the place to be . Forget Bourbon

Gumbo delish taste, lots of sausage and chicken- a little thinner roux than I like but tasty. Chicken and macaroni and greens delish with cornbread. bread pudding with pecan rum sauce so so good. Shrimp po boy, mmm, mmm, mmm! I would... More

Airplane food is notoriously bad, but that doesn't mean airport food has to be! So glad we could give you one last taste of Louisiana before your flight. Next time you're in town, stop by our Frenchman St. location! 'Til then, Curtis Owner More

My sister and I are great fans of soul food, and one of our goals on our trip to New Orleans was to visit a good soul food restaurant. With the help of Google we headed down to the Praline Connection for dinner. I ordered the jambalaya with cabbage, while my sister ordered the chicken platter and cornbread. In the... More

I had the meat loaf with macaroni and cheese and collard greens. The cornbread was hot and delicious. Collard greens were not that good even with some pepper sauce added. My boo had fried chicken with mustard greens and rice and gravy. That chicken was fried to perfection and had a good flavor, however, I would have liked for the... More

Always great to hear that we made you feel so welcome and served up some satisfying soul food! That said, I wish ever part of the dinner could have been as exceptional as the cornbread and fried chicken. I'll be sure to share your comments with my team so we can improve on it, and I hope you'll give us... More
