Cocktails are good. The service was long. The seafood is good but the rest of the menu is classic food that you can find everywhere in New Orleans. Prices very high compared with the quality.

This restaurant stays packed, but it is so worth the wait. Don't be afraid to grab a seat at the bar for dining. The bartenders are very attentive. Now for the food...get the shrimp & grits or even better get the barbecue shrimp...FANTASTIC!!! You will not be disappointed. Save room for dessert, including the adult liquid versions...lol. Definitely a MUST... More

This was our first trip to Mr. B's and we were quite impressed. One from our group of five had the Ribeye steak which she called 'the best steak she has ever eaten'. It came with fries that had blue cheese on them. Three of us had the bbq shrimp, which the restaurant is known for, and I must say,... More

We had a party of 4 and it was the first place we picked in the French Quarter eat on our last trip to the Big Easy. The restaurant is a favored by the locals and offers really great service. I personally like most of the menu, especially the gumbo, However, the Soft Shell Crab is a bit pricy but... More

We stopped in for dinner, and were pleased with the service and the quality of the food. The servers brought nice, soft, hot bread with butter, along with our drinks. For starters, I had the tomato salad, and my wife tried their Soup 1 1 1 - you get 3 demitase (small cups) of soup, which included their brocolli cheese,... More

Mr B's BBQ shrimp is the specialty and it doesn't disappoint. Service was excellent. Priced moderate to high. Desserts were rich and some lighter dessert fare would be welcome.

We went there for our anniversary. We wanted great food but did not want to have to dress formally. Atmosphere was elegant and cozy - I had the Lamb Chops and my husband had the BBQ Shrimp - simply wonderful! The service was superb and we were able to get a 5:30pm reservation by calling earlier that same day. We... More

Mr. B's was the highlight of our trip that included some pilgrimages to places like Jacques-Imos and Willie Maes. We came in around 9pm and were warmly greeted and brought to a wonderful take were we could watch all the action. Our server was amazing! Very friendly, with tons of stories and great recommendations. The food was out of this... More

Heart of the French Quarter with a historic background. Service includes a small army of wait staff who appear to be gracious which proves to be the case. Plan to pay for four lunches in one and servings that are appetizer sized. Tasty yet wish there was more.
