Still the one for BBQ shrimp and more!

Mr. B's is a must for us every time we go to New Orleans. BBQ shrimp is way off the charts good, the seafood gumbo, the service, the atmosphere. And once again Mr. B's was as terrific as always. The profiteroles were a first for us and they were excellent. Cannot wait till we can get back again!

I have been to and enjoyed Mr. B's Bistro several times and was excited to finally introduce my husband to the place. Never again. From the server who told my husband "knock yourself out" when he said he was still deciding on what to order to the lukewarm grilled artichokes (um, I think they are supposed to be that way... More

I ordered Barbecue Shrimp & Gumbo Ya Ya. Both were disappointing. Apparently the heads of shrimp could have been removed but no one offered. Shrimp were difficult to peel & sauce was not flavorful. The gumbo was watery with very little chicken & sausage. The bread was equally bland.

Late in reviewing - we were here 6 months ago and we still talk about the meal! BBQ shrimp - listen to the reviews - pay the little extra money - it is worth it! Our party of 4 had the BBQ shrimp & a special menu item of handmade seafood & asparagus ravioli - 4 adults looked like ravenous... More

One of our best meals while in New Orleans. Delicious fresh speckeled trout and a mouth watering pork chop for my husband. Dessert was Brennan's well known bread pudding with whiskey sauce. Excellent service. Worth the wait.

Great Local Seafood. Great Service. Try anything with a Louisiana flavor, i.e., Barbecue Shrimp, Gumbo Ya Ya, Oysters, Fish, Crabs. End w/ a combo dessert of Rum/Milk Punch w/ Profiterrolles and Vanilla Ice Cream (home-made french pastry with home-made ice cream).

We had dinner with some old friends and the meal and service was excellent!! Great old fashion to begin then some panko crusted shrimp with tasso; very good. This is one of my favorites in New Orleans. I usually sneak out by myself and have a cold beer and some of their famous Gumbo Ya-Ya. It is some of the best in the city. The restaurant is classic NOLA and has something for everyone. The signature dish is the BBQ shrimp and it is the real deal. With... More

I walked into this restaurant alone as a tourist expecting a lonely dinner at a table shoved in a corner but instead was ushered to the bar to eat with with all the other singles. The barman was very welcoming and attentive, set out s place mat and utensils and said thanks for joining me for dinner as he chatted... More
