Liz's Big Chill Weekend must do !

Ten of us had a Blast here! Service was attentive and we all enjoyed the cocktails, wine and beer selections. Waiters are wearing tuxes but I did see some tourists in tee shirts and flip flops. Our party did get dressed up a little, collard shirts and no shorts or jeans. The jambalaya is delicious... read more

Mr. B's is part of the Brennan's restaurant group, and they know what they're doing. Nice hot bread and butter to start, wine service was well done with good choices, and my dinner companions and I all enjoyed our meals. I'm a bread pudding aficionado - if it's on the menu I'll try it - and their version (soft, warm,... More

Dinner at Mr B's was Great!! The Restaraunt was bustling But they got us seated in short order. The server was very nice and just right with suggestions. The wedge salad had a delicious dressing with a high grade blue cheese, Rounded lightly with red onion an bacon. The soft shell crab cooked with a corn cream sauce was extraordinary.

It appears the Brennens have a number of resturants in New Orleans. We have been to two and find them just average. The food was ok but when you go to some of the small places in New Orleans you really get to appreciate the effort that these places have to put out to survive. If you're looking food you... More

I had the barbecue shrimp house special and it was delicious. I asked for more bread and they gave me a whole loaf which I used to soak up the barbecue sauce. They put a bib on you which you need.

My sister and I vacationed to New Orleans and were looking forward to their famous food. Mr. B’s has the price tags, reviews, and appearance of an upscale restaurant. We found it anything but. It was overcrowded, loud, and the service was dreadful. It took over an hour to get our food and we couldn’t even talk to each other... More

Loved the BBQ shrimp. My scallops were just OK..a little too salty. My husband loved his steak. Server was attentive, tables were a little too close together..That's about all I can remember. I would like to give this place another try.

We recently had lunch at Mr. B's during French Quarter Fest. As usual with Mr. B's, the service was professional and the food was very good. Not long after being seated, we had our drinks and our food orders had been taken. This time around we skipped the $1.50 martinis, opting instead for the $3 vodka lemonades. The bread served... The food is excellent. The BBQ Shrimp was one of the best meals I've ever had. The bread pudding was delicious. The strawberry spinach salad was light and refreshing. The service was a bit slow, but it gave us time to sit around and chat. I would highly recommend and will return again.
