Food is overpriced for what you will get. Not impressed. The gumbo was not good. Went to mother's earlier in the day and would have rather ate their again. Not a lot of menu choice.

My wife and I both had the bbq shrimp which was as good as we've had. Service was extremely fast and courteous. Will return when we are back in NOLA next year.

Stopped in for some gumbo and sat at the bar. Food and drinks were good, but the service was poor. Not a single bartender acknowledged us until we asked for a cocktail menu. It was slow and there were three of them working, but not a single one of them would talk with us outside of us placing our order.... More

I must say that this restaurant has great food that is excellent quality with amazing service. Nothing is cheap in NOLA, but this restaurant is among the most expensive I have enjoyed. They are known for their messy, wonderful barbeque shrimp. One friend at that meal, while another devoured the bacon wrapped shrimp and grits. I have a shellfish allergy,... More

The food here was AMAZING and the atmosphere was very sophisticated yet casual!!! it was right across the street from the Wyndham, where we stayed, so it was ideal to have lunch here.

We went here for Sunday brunch. Husband had filet and eggs and marveled at the tenderness of the steak. He followed this up with pecan pie which he thought was great (we did find it better somewhere else though -- so #2 on the pie). I had Shrimp and grits amazing. Live music and very carefully dressed wait staff -... More

I recommend Mr. B’s with no hesitation. The barbecue shrimp is no less than amazing. I had to add my vote to the many praises of this signature dish. It consists of 5 jumbo shrimp swimming in a traditional New Orleans barbecue sauce - not the red, sweet stuff that comes to mind with most barbecue. This is rich and... More

We went here to celebrate by brother-in-law's mother's 90th birthday. The food and staff were great. I have to say though that it took a long time to get the food. But it was well worth it.

This place, well what can I say? My absolute favorite. The food is consistently great and the service is perfection. The shrimp and grits are to die for and the bread pudding is the best in New Orleans!!
