The atmosphere at this restaurant was classy and amiable. The service was fast, thorough, and very friendly. The food was wonderful. I had the fish of the day (gulf mahi-mahi with red potatoes, steamed and buttered broccoli, and an amazing lemon butter) and key lime pie with raspberry sauce for dessert. It was some of the best fish I've ever... more

Just finished Dinner at Mr B's. We were waited on by Ted, Alton and a lovely lady who I do not recall her name other than it started with a M. The service we had was the best! We had the egg rolls which were very good. I had the gumbo ya-ya which was OK, not great gumbo but it... more

We had a fabulous meal to celebrate our anniversary. Filet was probably the best I have ever had. Shrimp & Grits were good, but definately not Low Country style. Not a quiet restaurant lots of action. Very well staffed. Duck eggrolls a must for appetizer. The staff knew it was our anniversary, we had balloons at our table, bread pudding... more

This was the second "upper crust" place that we decided to try and it was another home run. The service was good, the food was very well prepared and tasty and we were tended to the whole time we were there. The few little cons I have is the menu is a little limited (I don't eat beef out, so... more

We had lunch there yesterday. The place is upscale, and feels like a trip back in time 50 years or so... uniformed waiters, silver serving pieces, quite elegance. I thought the food a tad pricey for lunch (18-20 for specials) but it has a clever twist to that--they practically give away cocktails at lunch Martini (Vodka or Gin, on the... more

During my short trip to NOLA, I had to make it to my favorite everyday restaurant - Mr. B's Bistro. As always, I was not disappointed. The atmosphere at Mr. B's is nicely balanced between casual and "special event". The dark wood interior and heavy linen table settings make it feel sophisticated. But the mood of the diners and staff... more

Had lunch and it was so good that I went back for dinner. Barbecued shrimp, gumbo, bread, bread pudding, cocktails, service - all outstanding. Lots of good food in New Orleans, but this was the best. more

We were disappointed. I was loved the barbecue shrimp which comes in a delicious brown sauce but it was missing something. It was missing really good bread to dunk or sop up the gravy! The bread they serve here is the worst! It was like some bad sub roll. No substance. No taste. Nothing! Blchhh!!!! If they don't want to... more
