I must say that this restaurant has great food that is excellent quality with amazing service. Nothing is cheap in NOLA, but this restaurant is among the most expensive I have enjoyed. They are known for their messy, wonderful barbeque shrimp. One friend at that meal, while another devoured the bacon wrapped shrimp and grits. I have a shellfish allergy,... More

The food here was AMAZING and the atmosphere was very sophisticated yet casual!!! it was right across the street from the Wyndham, where we stayed, so it was ideal to have lunch here.

We went here for Sunday brunch. Husband had filet and eggs and marveled at the tenderness of the steak. He followed this up with pecan pie which he thought was great (we did find it better somewhere else though -- so #2 on the pie). I had Shrimp and grits amazing. Live music and very carefully dressed wait staff -... More

We went here to celebrate by brother-in-law's mother's 90th birthday. The food and staff were great. I have to say though that it took a long time to get the food. But it was well worth it.

This place, well what can I say? My absolute favorite. The food is consistently great and the service is perfection. The shrimp and grits are to die for and the bread pudding is the best in New Orleans!!

Wonderful food and service. I had the BBQ shrimp, friends had fried oysters, they were lightly breaded. Divine! Everybody loved their food.

Used to be one of my favorite spots to hit while in New Orleans but I feel everyone has caught up with them and now Mr. B's is average to me. Still tasty food but a little sub-par compared with some of the other flavors of NOLA......need to get that menu updated!!

Mr. B’s Bistro is not for the flavor challenged patron; it can be an overwhelming attack on your taste buds. The establishment itself is a marked difference from the environment. Just outside the door, you are immediately approached my smiling, welcomed faces that introduce you to a cool and relaxing atmosphere. There is a low ceiling and wide floor design,... More
