For the absolute best Barbeque shrimp in New Orleans this is the place. No other does the rich buttery roux as well. Trust me I know, I've eaten them all. Great service and atmosphere keeps me coming back.

Living in New Orleans, you can get analysis paralysis trying to figure out where to eat. Surprisingly, we had never been here. The barbecued shrimp were delicious. To those of you not familiar with this dish, the name is misleading, it's a baked dish of shrimp, spices, lemon, butter and beer. Glad that I wore the supplied bib, it was... More

Mr. B's was recommended to us by a few tour guides (locals), so we finally went on our 3rd night in New Orleans. This was a wonderful dinner. We were getting pretty tired of fried food and dark restaurants. We had the BBQ Shrimp and it was amazing. I don't know why they call it it BBQ shrimp; there is... More

The place is highly over rated. We paid $28.00 for a pork chop, a little rice, and some under cooked carrots. It was tasty, but way too expensive.

I would visit Mr. B's again and again if I could. Wonderful menu choices, wine selection and outstanding customer service.

We visited New Orleans in late August and really enjoyed both our meal and service at Mr. B's! My husband had the pork chop and I had the chicken which they did tell us would take a while but we were not in any hurry so it was fine by us. I would say our meals came out in about... More

Food was great and service was exceptional. I had the BBQ shrimp . It was delicious but be forewarned - it is a very interactive meal. Gumbo was excellent also. Definitely will make a return trip.

We had reservations and ordered got seated next to a very drunk person who harassed us the whole time and the server knew it was a problem and did nothing. We waited over an hour and a half to get a chicken dish. We swear it was taken by someone else and that was their excuse. They gave us free... More
