Fantastic restaurant. Great service and the food was really impressive. Be sure to put the bib on, sauce and juice go everywhere!

The bbq shrimp is excellent. Grilled shrimp was very good as well. A bit noisy but not a distraction. Service could have been better but still not bad. Would return and hopefully have a better waiter

We arrived on time greeted by a sullen receptionist she didn't speak on word to us, not a good start. The food was good Gumbo starter followed by the fish, not really anything for Veggies The worst part of this place was that we felt totally rushed the meal was served and finished as far as the staff were concerned... The bacon-wrapped shrimp and grits dinner was absolutely amazing. We had been hearing about it from others, yet I was completely caught off guard by how delicious this meal was. It's not to be missed when in New Orleans.

My husband suggested Mr. B's after waiting to be seated for 15 min. in another seafood restaurant and still not called! We gave our name at Mr. B's and after 5 min., we were seated! Food was perfectly prepared, place was clean and server was very polite; restroom kept very clean. We recommend Mr. B's for at least one dinner... More

If this is only the 36th best place on TA right now, I'm going to have to try a lot more places! Boy, this place was good! Best bread pudding I have ever had in 60 plus years and I've had plenty of versions. The best...ever. Very good pork chop, very good garlic chicken and lamb chops..4 of us dined.... More

We dined one night and ate casually on another. Both great experiences. Well prepared meals! We sampled the Duck Spring Rolls, pan seared Black Grouper and Gulf Flounder and Scallops. Soups 1-1-1 a must to taste three distinct Creole soups. We would return for sure.

If you happened to be in New Orleans, then you have to stop by Mr B's to experience the very best in Southern cooking. I would advise you phone and book ahead to secure a table and to use the supplied bibs as the food is that good, you tend to miss your mouth :-)

Great atmosphere, warm inviting . Strong cocktails and cheap as well. . The Wait staff was also excellent . The food as good but nothing special. The lamb was perfectly cooked, but the potatoes that accompanied were oily. I also wish I had more mint pesto on my lamb but overall was good. My companion had the veal and foie... More

Mr B's Bistro has to be living off of tourists who don't know good New Orleans food. We were a group of fourteen; service may have been a little slow, but we were busy visiting. The waitstaff were friendly and accommodating; our waiter volunteered to substitute the vegetable for me, provided separate checks for us all, and divided dessert into... More
