Best food court meal I've ever had

Our family of 4 ate here in the food court at the Riverwalk- and loved it. Seafood chowder, gumbo, and red beans and rice were all very good. We never expected to get such good food at a food court!

We were leery of mall food but very hungry; we gave Mike Anderson's a chance and were surprised and delighted to find that the seafood (combo plate) was very fresh and good. Would definitely eat there again.

The food was average. The service reminded me of old and rude New Orleans of the 70's & 80's. Back then, rudeness in the tourist business was the norm. Well, they welcomed it back. The oyster poor boy was OK but not the best poor boy the city has to offer. New Orleans has much better food than this and... More

We were attending a conference next door in the convention center. Skip the convention center food and come next door to the Riverwalk mall and eat here. It's a fast food place, but they fry up the food fresh. It's inexpensive for what you get and just as good as any other fried seafood I had in NOLA. You have... More

What more can I say than the title I've assigned? A mainstay in the French Quarter and a great culinary experience! Try it you'll like it.

It's in the food court in the Riverwalk mall, and lots to choose from. Got the seafood platter; catfish, oysters and shrimp, really liked the coleslaw it has an interesting flavour. Highly suggest this restaurant. The seafood was very tasty service was friendly and courteous.

We visited the Audubon Aquarium of the Americas and visited the awesome River Walk in New Orleans. This particular Mike Anderson's was on the River Walk amongst dozens of other food places. I chose this place because I knew it would have fresh fried foods. The menu had a selections of crab claws, hush puppies, whole catfish, boiled shrimp and... More

We were really disappointed in the quality of the food and the horrible service. If you are going to serve really bad food the least you can do is serve it without an attitude. Definitely will not go back to this location again

You know, a food court, like a suburban mall. This is River Walk. You stand in line to fetch yr food then you try to balance yr food around kids to find a table that doesn't have some one "saving it" etc etc. It was a long line on this rainy Saturday. Maybe we chose it because it had a... More
