The restaurant is small, austere, European-like, and the food and service are fantastic! This was our third visit to Louisiana Bistro and our first time we've done the "Feed Me" menu option. The chef comes visit with you to check preferences and comes to explain each dish as they're served. We had the fried green tomatoes with crab meat and... More

Made it here with the family! Atmosphere and service were fantastic! The food was prepared well, but did not taste fresh. Was a little disappointed with the meal. In Louisiana, all seafood should be VERY fresh...no excuses!

We had a great dinner at the Bistro. Booked in advance for our party of 8. Between us we tried most of the entrees and all were great. We were not brave enough to try "Feed me" on our first visit, but certainly would now knowing the quality of the dishes. Great spot for couples or a group.

My fiancé and I probably would've walked right by this restaurant if it had not been highly recommend to us. It is a small and unassuming place. We are so glad that didn't! We both had the six course feed me meal and each dish was more delicious than the last. The BBQ shrimp was the best we had while we... More

This is a charming small restaurant with a French menu. It feels more like a neighborhood place than a tourist restaurant even though it is in the French Quarter. One appetizer was a bit chewey, but everything else was delicious.

In 70+ reviews I have written some "averages" and maybe a few "poor" reviews but I don't go off on places. Until now. This place is the WORST. We read the reviews and expected an out of the normal path place and experience. Got there and had to prove we had a reservation which seemed a little odd but that... More

This is a small unpretentious restaurant with a small staff - only open 4 hours a day 4 days a week so they must love their jobs. The mixed sausage appetizer was perfect for two to share. Three sausages split in half (Andouille, boudin, and alligator) with 3 different sauces. Stuck with the regular menu and the drum was outstanding.... More

As visitors from England, this was our first day in New Orleans. Purely by luck we found the Louisiana Bistro whilst exploring Dauphine Street. Despite the city being full with convention attendees, and there being a big football game that afternoon, there was a table available for later in the evening - surprising as the restaurant only holds around 35.... This was our first meal in NOLA, on a friend's recommendation. After reading all of the great reviews, we were so excited to try this place. We were completely let down. The first bad sign was when we were seated, and we told the waitress that we wanted to do the "feed me" option. The waitress told us that there... More

The food was not that bad, but everything else was not up to pair. An amateur waitress that was working part time, knew nothing about anything she was talking about, poor service, and not what you would expect from a place like this. The food was expensice compared to what you get, would not recommend this place. Dissapointing after all... More
