We were lucky to find an intimate table overlooking Dauphine on Valentine's day during Mardi Gras! Justin provided impeccable service in this quaint tiny restaurant. We selected the "Feed Me" menu option which meant Chef David chatted with us prior to preparing four exquisite courses to make any foodie palate sing:) David brought out each unique course personally and explained... On a recent Saturday night I was able to obtain a last minute reservation at this quaint little jewel. The location on Dauphine is quiet and easily walkable in the French Quarter. The dress code is open but the white linen table cloths and soft lighting cry out no shorts or flip fops. Eleven tables, 2 waiters and a full... More

We have started a tradition of staying in the New Orleans French Quarter in early December each year. On the first such stay in 2013, we had an amazing dinner at Louisiana Bistro. At the time, Chef Mars was in charge. We ordered the "feed me" option and experienced a truly magic and satisfying meal. Chef Mars fed us well.... More

This restaurant is on Dauphine and is a quiet little place with very good food and great service. It is well priced for the quality of the food.

The Louisiana Bistro is a warm and intimate restaurant with a friendly staff and amazing food. My husband and I enjoyed an evening here with a cozy, candlelit atmosphere that seemed almost out of place from the craziness of Bourbon Street. We, too, chose the "Feed Me" option on the menu. I am not an adventurous foodie but this meal... More

The visit started out rocky. A group of 5, we were turned away but a waiter ran after us and brought us back. I'm the only vegetarian in the group, the chef came to our table and made a AMAZING meal for me. My friends ordered off the menu and were pleasantly surprised......The second time I went a better experience... More

A few years ago I took my daughter and a colleague there. Daughter has a dairy allergy and the Chef came out to the Table and helped her select a meal that she loved and was safe for her. It's a small place with very good service and wonderful food. This time I was by myself but the food was... More

The best thing about that tiny gourmet restaurant is the "Feed me" option where the chef comes to you to learn about your test and creates for you 3 to 6 meals that are not in the menu. It was a surprise and a vary nice one. I totally love this place even though it's a bit expensive. If you... More

My wife and I went here for our anniversary dinner while in NOLA. We ordered the "Feed Me" 5 course Chef's choice menu. The service was good, but just a little chaotic. We started with one waiter, and ended with a different one. The first 4 courses were excellent, especially a Drum filet on top of a bacon crusted potato... More

The restaurant is small, austere, European-like, and the food and service are fantastic! This was our third visit to Louisiana Bistro and our first time we've done the "Feed Me" menu option. The chef comes visit with you to check preferences and comes to explain each dish as they're served. We had the fried green tomatoes with crab meat and... More
