Just can't seem to warm up totally to this restaurant. Guess I get a little turned off by a fried seafood platter that is $27 and has a strong and I suspect frozen fried crawfish and catfish that came in a rather odd shape. I have a few questions about it's origin. It too had seen better days. The oysters... More

We were a little nervous, as the neighborhood is slightly sketchy. But I'm so glad we went in. Super friendly staff. I got a scallop special and it was flavorful and perfectly cooked. They have garlic feta fries that are amazing. Their ribs are awesome, too. Please check it out.

Thank goodness this restaurant was recommended to us. One of best and FLAVORFUL meals in New Orleans... A corner neighborhood bar/ restaurant in MidCity which offers the best pizza, best vegetarian dish, grilled oysters, and seafood pasta around. I would go back to New Orleans just to dine here. Very Very casual place and great delicious food...and good service

My husband and my first cajun po-boys together on our homeymoon with local NoLa friends. Such great food! From the feta fries, gumbo, pizza and po-boys, everything was so amazing! It's a must visit for locals and visitors alike. Yummers and a half. $5 margaritas are a must.

I went on a Monday night so it wasn't too crowded. The food is excellent. You won't be disappointed.

Our son brought us there or we would have never found this nice neighborhood restaurant. There is an extensive menu but they also have a blackboard list of specials on the wall inside. You can sit inside or out depending on the weather. Our appetizer, seafood beignets ($15) were wonderful and large enough to split three ways!! We had BBQ... More

We shared a full rack of beef ribs along w/all sides. Place was filled to the neighs w/array of folks. A few families-couples-groups, etc. Everything came out just so. This was better than Outback!

This place has inventive food, well executed, relatively cheap. I had the Hickory Burger, my companion had the hamburger steak platter with mashed potatoes. The hamburger steak was formed around yellow and red peppers, topped with gravy and served with real, live, honest to God mashed potatoes. There were still chunks of potato in there, definitely not from a mix.... More

We thought we were lost driving to the restaurant, it truly is a neighborhood restaurant. We went on a Tuesday and it was crowded and loud, but in a good way. Because it is a neighborhood restaurant, you know there are neighbors eating there. Made us feel like we belonged. I had the drum special....divine. We ordered two appetizers and... More

We visited this great neighborhood restaurant an loved it! I had the "The Legend" poboy which was french bread stuffed with cochon de lait and bbq shrimp. Wonderful! Other members of the party had the crab cake poboy (great!) and the The St. Louie poboy (fried oysters with melted cheese and bacon- YUM). I can't wait to go back! We... More
