We were with some longtime friends and wanted to catch a good local meal near their place after returning from summer. We had a blast, Our waiter was excellent, and the food was tremendous.

I have been to Katie's in NOLA before. We have been trying for over a year to do the "Breakfast Brunch". We did it last Sunday and did the special, "Bottomless Bloody Mary's" OMG!! The food and unlimited drinks were awesome, I loved the atmosphere, employees were great and Mamma was the sweetest little lady. She reminded me of my... More

Went for brunch. Our waiter was horrible. We asked his recommendation three times and he keep saying "I don't know." The bottomless drinks were extremely watered down. Also the waiter seemed so annoyed to be working we felt bad to even ask him for our drinks. Seriously horrible. The food wasn't all it was cracked up to be either. I... More

We rode the Canal streetcar out of town (20 minutes) to Katie's and got there before they opened. We sat outside for a few minutes and waited for them to open. The owners are there to greet you when you enter and make you feel so welcome. The servers make sure to ask if you have any questions and give... More

We hit this place after the official lunch hour and found it to be still packed to the gills. Locals who were total strangers offered to let us sit at their table if we couldn't get a table soon, but the last wave of lunch diners were starting to leave. But while we were waiting, the locals told us how... More

Great brunch spot in the heart of mid city with street parking nearby. It's small and cozy but the food is worth the tight quarters. I did find the restaurant extremely loud for brunch and hard to talk to the people at our table but the great menu more that makes up for it. I had the fritatta with crab... More

For lunch we had the Cajun Cuban with cochon de lait, ham, mustard and pickles as well as the boudreaux pizza with cochon de lait, roasted garlic, spinach and garlic butter sauce. Both were excellent and I highly recommend them. I would definitely return to Katie's!!!

We saw this on triple D and tried it out. We were soooo glad we did. The food is excellent. We all had different items and they were all good. I had the seafood platter and it was not greasy or overly breaded. I would not hesitate to order anything on the menu. Took desert home with me - blackberry... More

Awesome! Louisiana cuisine done well! Homey atmosphere but the place is a bit cramped! Have patience with the wait time for seating... a popular site but very limited space.

Had the fried chicken with red beans and rice special tonight.... Absolutely great all around. Salad was very good, and the bread pudding for dessert rounded out dinner nicely.... Great restaurant and great staff.
