Great spot, large portions, excellent service! We sat at the bar for lunch to get seated more quickly. I sometimes find food service at the bar is not the best - but not the case at Juan's. The bartender entertained us some during lunch too, which was fun.

Let me preface this review. I lived in southern California for 20 years where the US brand of Mexican food is better than anywhere else in the country. Don't get me wrong. The food here is good; it's my favorite for Mexican in New Orleans. But if you've had Mexican food in Miami, New York or California, you'll be thinking... More

Delicious food, full of flavour, very quick and decent service. Got the chicken and goats cheese quesadilla. Highly recommend for lunch.

Juan's was less than average. They claim to be Tex-mex... But miss the mark. Me and my husband got burritos and the separate flavors combined within the burrito were overwhelming. It seemed that the beans were straight out of the can and did not nice well with the other ingredients. The flavors did not compliment each other and mine was... More

Best margarita in New Orleans! We got there too early fro their happy hour which offers a double at the single price. And we did have every intention of walking back for another round. But catching a bus sometimes means catching a bus. The Magazine Street route number 11 came by at the other end of the street.

I thought Juan's was good! I had eaten here before years ago and it was good then as well. It was jammed packed on a Friday night as to be expected if the food in a restaurant is good. The staff was nice as long as you are polite as well. There were homemade sauces on the tables. There was... More

We had planned on going here first thing when we got to NOLA because of the online menu. It just looked fantastic. I was somewhat disappointed, probably only because I was so looking forward to it, but it was fine. There was nothing wrong with the food, except that maybe it was a little cold. I might or might not... More

I visited Juan's flying burrito for the main reason of wanting to try "Creole Mexican" food. The workers were all very nice and the atmosphere was inviting. The food however wasn't the greatest. I had nachos and the meat wasn't completely defrosted in some areas. For the price, it really wasn't bad though. Being from the SF bay area, maybe... More

Overall a good place. Food was average, the atmosphere was awesome but unfortunately our food wasn't cooked all the way through. The nachos we ordered were average but after getting to the middle of the meat we realized some of the meat was still frozen. I might give this place another chance but nothing to special.

A co-worker who is from New Orleans recommeded this place as did a lot of other people on Trip Advisor. We finally found it on Magazine St. The food was good. We had taco salad and a burrito.
