Loved the Food

Really fun place, casual. The margarita was great. The chips and salsa also good. I had a chicken dish with veggies, rolled up like sushi that was delicious. Husband had Juans flying burrito, that he loved.

Great food with a hip atmosphere. My husband likes his food hot, so the spicy fare didn't phase him in the slightest. I was grateful for my delicious glass of Sangria to cool off my palate!

Came here on a Sunday night for dinner, and it was packed! We had margaritas and queso while we waited. They were delicious. They have a full bar and a lot of margarita and beer options. The service was quick and friendly, and the food was really good. I had the enchiladas verde, and my fiancé had the bacon Azul... More

This place was great. Started off with the chips, queso, guacamole, and salsa. All dips were amazing and full of flavor. Our party had all different dishes and everyone was very please with how everything came out!

I am not a big eater, however, I ate "3" tacos they were really nice. Service could have been a bit better, however, it wasn't bad, it was just difficult to get the waitresses attention when we wanted more Margaritas!!

Great place to eat. Beware the nachos portions are huge so make sure you order to share. The burritos and tacos are a great choice. Some cool shops nearby to browse.

Stopped in for lunch this past Saturday and we were quite please with the eclectic choices...including a Philly Cheese steak burrito. We also tried the original Flying burrito with shrimp, steak and chicken..and it was great. Super selection of local beers as well. Good value and a true New Orleans "local" place

I must preface I am not a fan of what may be regarded "Baja style Americanzed Mexican food." It is characterized by the use of sweet salsas which is not apreciated in Mexican food. However, this restaurant made me savor their food. I ordered the adobada burrito. It came with pinapple salsa, and it was spicy. It had just the... More

Staying in Garden District

Neighborhood Profile
Garden District
Head to the Garden District for the full-on New Orleans experience replete with quaintly clanking streetcars, proudly grandiose antebellum mansions, picture perfect avenues lined with live oaks loaded down with Spanish moss, and a wealth of beautiful churches and many more architectural marvels. Even a brief excursion here makes plain why it’s called the Garden District. So, when you visit be sure to give yourself ample time for admiration at a languidly slow pace befitting such gentile strand of riverside living and to allow you to maximize each opportunity to stop and smell the roses – and whichever other blooms you might come across. While taking it all in, you’d do well to dine at one of the city’s most beloved destinations for regional cuisine. Gourmands from far and wide (and right round the corner) swear the age-old Commander’s Palace is the best restaurant in town – and have been doing so since it opened back in 1880.
