We wanted a change from creole/cajun food and a friend directed us to Juan's. We shared the guacamole, salsa, and chips appetizer, as well as the "street tacos" and the redfish tacos. We had far too much food, but couldn't quit eating it. The flavors were complex and complimentary of each dish. We also had the "rox" margarita (delicious) and... More

Friends/kids wanted less "New Orleans food" and being Texans we're always up for tacos! My food was good, adequate but not temp hot at all. . . and I ordered fajitas! In Texas they come of sizzling still, whole that's not necessary I do prefer temp hot food. The salsa was fresh and tasty, I'd have preferred it to be... More

We read about Juan's Flying Burrito online, so we checked it out. Delicious food, refreshing drinks, and all at great prices. Highly recommended!

So, my husband and I are from Austin, a city built on tacos. You eat them for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. You eat them with eggs. You eat them with pork belly. You eat them with duck liver mousse and caviar. A sub-par taco is sensed from five miles away and destroyed in seconds by hipster glasses armed with lasers.... More

Oh Juan's...how I miss thee. I had the great fortune of discovering Juan's on a recent trip to NOLA (my sister had raved about it and it was conveniently located a block from our condo.) I was a bit hesitant at first as I was still getting used to the heat and humidity and wasn't super hungry, especially for heavy... More

I loved that this restaurant had awesome burritos for my vegetarian self, as well as my non vegetarian boyfriend. The burritos were great and service was fast. It was weird, but also kind of cool, that this restaurant was playing 90s rap music and 11 am. I'm talking TLC, biggie smalls, etc. Great burritos though!

I had a good experience at Juan's. Their menu is trendy and certainly steps outside of the box compared to the typical Mexican restaurant menu. I'd recommend this place if you're up for something a little different or new. However, if you're like me, and sometimes heads out for that Mexican dinner where you know you're going to eat until... We were brought to Juan's by family members who live in NOLA. The food is delicious. I had the Hawaii 5-0-4 nachos that have pulled pork with grilled mango and pineapple salsa. My wife raved about her jerk shrimp and mango salad. Good prices on the food and very reasonable prices on drinks as well. We'll definitely be back.

Like many others, we also came here twice, because it was just that good and the service was awesome. We almost couldn't believe our ears when our waiter informed us we could have a free refill of our chips and guacamole! Margaritas are good too and get you all powered up for a night on Bourbon. It's a little hard... More
