Good food, but....

We went here for a quick early dinner. I have to say the food was very, very good but there are other issues that need some addressing. It was a very hot day, so we ordered a beer as soon as we got there, but they had none! The air conditioning was not on, door wide open with flies everywhere.... read more

We ordered, pizza, salads and wings. The pizza and salad were excellent. The wings were not noteworthy. The Italian salad came with a house made creamy Italian dressing which was very good. And the pizza crust was not too thick nor too thin, just right. The only down side was not having beer and wine available. However, we asked and... More

This small Italian eatery is located just off Magazine street in the lower, much lower Garden District. I was here with a group of 7 and we sampled the salads and pizza for the most part. The pizza for New Orleans was not terrible, but not particularly great either. The salads were at best ok. The service was disorganized and... More

I'll start by saying the menu has changed from the one posted on trip advisor. We had to change what we had planned to order. My husband and I split the spinach salad and then a medium combo pizza. We were completely satisfied! The servings were generous and very tasty. My husband even finished with the turtle cheesecake which he... More

Similar to other reviews, we ended up here simply by chance as we needed lunch and it was getting late. I agree that the restaurant lacks ambiance but what to you really expect from a pizza joint? Service was good and the pizza was really good.

You know how sometimes you're so hungry that you don't care where you eat, you just need to get some food right away? Well that's how we ended up at this restaurant. My husband and I each got a pasta dish that came with Caesar salad. The lettuce was still sopping wet from (I assume) being washed and there had... More

this is a quiet ambience, open late and all sorts of hours. The food is delicious, large portions, extremely good value. The bread is made on premises; the service is pleasant and efficient. This is the opposite of corporate food.

We have been there with our whole family. The atmosphere is not very familiar or romantic but there pizzas are really great and large. So dont let you fool by the ambience the food is delicious.

My wife and I love Cafe Roma. We always get a large half & half pie since we like different toppings. She usually gets something off the wall but I stick to the classic pepperoni and cheese. Their pizzas are delicious and the feta cheese rolls are amazing. We dine in from time to time and the restaurant is a... More

We stopped by on an icy afternoon. We were happy to find it warm inside. The waitress was very attentive to making our dining experience great. We had vegetarian pizza, artichoke and pesto pizza, lasagna, and tiramisu. The portions were generous and the flavor was great. I especially liked the the crust of the pizza. The lasagna was very cheesy... More
