Second shot...

Went for breakfast but too many people... limited space (obviously a good sign). Went back later for a late lunch... well worth the wait!! Probably the best gumbo, crab cakes, and bread pudding I've ever had, and I've had a lot!!

The food was average and the service was poor. After coffee was spilled on me and I never asked to relocate seats. Instead, I was handed a wash cloth for myself, the table and floor. I was asked for my order and before I can speak the server was gone, this happened twice. Sad to say I would no go... More

The wait staff was amazing! Such a friendly place. Food was delicious. We always like to try new things while we are vacationing. This was worth it!

Went there for breakfast on a recommendation from my niece. Delicious. Biscuits are light and fluffy. Went back for dinner because the menu looked interesting. They did not disappoint. Definitely worth the trip.

That's their slogan, and they lived up to it. We ate breakfast the last two days here. I wish we had been here earlier, as we would've eaten here every morning. The food was fantastic and the portions good. I had the plantation breakfast one morning and the Bellevue Omelette the next. My wife had the Bellevue Omelette and the... More

I had a great breakfast here, it was filling and hit the spot. I'm dying to return for those delicious Calla cakes! I think it is the best thing I've ever eaten. Service was a little bit gruff, but I'm a Yankee and I handled it. It won't deter my return!

As others have stated the food itself is delicious BUT the service is awful, only one woman was friendly, everyone else is rude and treats you like a dumb tourist. Next is the cost!! Oh my Gosh! We paid nearly $60 for 3 pancakes without sides, french toast also comes with nothing and then my husband got eggs with sausage,... More

My husband and I were in New Orleans on a HOT and HUMID Saturday afternoon. I had been to The Old Coffee Pot on a previous trip, so we decided to go again. The food was ok. The gumbo was excellent. A little overpriced, but a godd place for a snack and to cool off in. The staff were very... More

The "hostess" was so rude in asking us to get out and wait outside for a table that we left. We are tourists -- we don't know how the system works. I went in to inquire about a table and the woman I asked immediately said "you have to wait outside, there are tables waiting in front of you," in... More
