We had the mahi mahi which was fine but the salad was extremely sad - very wilted lettuce and too much dressing and an extremely small portion (but I couldn't eat it anyway due to the look - my husband ate it but said the dressing was too intense. Bread pudding for dessert - way too much sauce and a... More

Tried this restaurant at the recommendation of a local. So glad we did. The seafood and steaks were divine! It wasn't crowded on the Monday night we were there so we were able to really experience a delicious and relaxing dinner.

Well located at the edge of the French Quarter and friendly apologetic waiter. But the service was super slow as the chef was more interested in watching American football on the big screen. Food was what I'd consider a pub food in England but the quality was barely fit for consumption. I ordered crayfish nachos and onion rings whilst my... More

good food and good service, with a great seafood menu selection and huge portions, i recommend splitting the portion for those on a budget.

Definitely not the restaurant to be. For sure, it has its really own charme but besides this we had a drunken staff member, a "forgotten" reservation and the "all-fried" seafood platter was worse. Honestly guys, why frying all things on this platter?! No words for this.

For New Orleans cuisine, there are a number of surrounding restaurants that have much better food at a better value. The dishes we ordered - the Atchafalaya and Redfish - were covered in sauces so heavy, it seemed like they were covering up the general quality of their food. The space itself looks a bit dull and outdated - just... More

Every time I come to New Orleans I visit Ralph and Kacoos. I am never disappointed. Most recently I visited and had the house salad, which was generous but the greens looked stale. The dressing was flavorful. The hush puppies that came with the meal were hot and tasty. For my main course I had the redfish Pontchartrain, which was... More

The best etouffee I have ever eaten! Seriously, I dreamed about this soup. The waitstaff was very nice and quick. Extremely apologetic that my drink order wasn't filled immediately although still arrived sooner than I expected. The only tiny downside at all was the temperature, it was very warm in the dining room but we were sitting nearly outside at... More

We went to Ralph & Kacoo's for dinner after reviewing the menu online. Once there, first impression was that we were underdressed, but we saw that it was a casual restaurant. Joseph was our waiter and was fun, knowledgeable and personable. We ordered the Mahi-Mahi Bourbon Street and Shrimp St. Charles. The Mahi-Mahi entree was perfectly cooked and the sauce... More

Stopped here for lunch after walking the French quarter. Took suggestions from the waiter and everything he suggested was good. Had first taste of crab claws for one of us. Great atmosphere and our waiter never let us run out of anything.
