The place is basic but the dueling piano players make up for it. Food is standard New Orleans I had the fried seafood platter everything tasted fresh but the only stand out on the plate was the stuffed crab it was really nicely seasoned. Overall everyone in our group liked the food. The waiter was lacking from the start we... More

What was to be a quick order to go turned into an example of frustration. Watching a bartender trying to impress three young ladies was at first comical, then frustrating when he was paying more attention to them, rather than the other customers. Even the other waiters noticed the situation, and were trying to move him along. The guy dropped... More

My husband and I visited New Orleans for our 25th anniversary. The plan was a Dinner/Jazz cruise, however, neither boat was in operation. Two people had recommended Ralph and Kacoos in the French Quarter, so it was our second choice...now it would be our first choice. Oh, my! The service was excellent and the dinner was wonderful. All my husband... More

We had been walking for awhile and decided to look for good prices on happy hour. Found it to be quiet inside. Bartender was attentive and pleasant. Her name was CoCo Had good cold beer. Might visit again if back in the area Was clean and cool

There are way too many great restaurants in this city to mess around with an "okay" place. The concierge at our hotel suggested this restaurant when we asked for something with creole food in the quarter. The hush puppies were decent, the waitress pleasant and the rest of the meal just ok. My mixed vegetables were the frozen variety and... More

Came to NOLA with intention of eating oysters every day! and I did but the best were here. Twice sat at the bar with a cold local beer and their charbroiled oysters. SO yummy!!! Friendly bartenders. Great French Quarter experience.

The lovely dueling pianos were the only reason I gave this restaurant two stars. The biscuits were ok and the rice average, but the seafood was below average, even fried. The lobster was dry, bland, and significantly overpriced. The service was average, the folks cleaning the tables too loud, and the restrooms looked like a stadium bathroom. Only disappointing meal... Worth the visit. Really very good food. The etouffee was the best I had while in N.O. They have a great wedge salad and the seafood is wonderful. The dueling piano players were great. We had a wonderful server name Liz who had a big personality and just a pleasure. We liked it so much we went twice. On Thursday... More
