I saw some bad reviews on here so I was worried about going here last night but we had an excellent dinner. Food was great especially the Oysters Rockefeller. The bartender was awesome. I was looking for a drink my wife would like so he made me like 6 samples in shot glasses to see what each suggestion tasted like.... More

My Husband and I have been going to Ralph and Kacoo's for years. Sadly it is not the same. It is overpriced and just not as good. It was our go to years ago but no more.

We stopped in for a late afternoon snack before a walking tour. We got drinks and appetizers. The server was wonderful and accommodated our needs quickly when we told her what our evening plans were. The drinks were large and the appetizers were tasty. I have no complaints. It was clean, good food, great service and accommodating. I know they... More

There was dirt in our salads. The waiter just shrugged and offered a new one. Ummm no thanks, I don't think I can stomach that. No concession was made for the mishap.

My family of 5 chose R&K's after reading a lot of reviews that said it was family friendly. Food was average, but the real disappointment came with the check. The kids' menus clearly said drinks came with the meals; however, we were charged an additional $2.50 for each of our kids' soft drinks. We are also charged $5.99 for the... More

I brought my college age granddaughter and her boyfriend to New Orleans for a Christmas visit. We spent several days in the Quarter and had a great time. One evening we ate dinner at Ralph & Kacoo's. My granddaughter had the shrimp & pasta which she totally enjoyed. I had grilled fish with a shrimp & crabmeat topping which was... More

We decided to give R&K a try, regardless of someone of the negative reviews and we were pleasantly satisfied! We stopped in for an early dinner, and there was hardly anyone there. Our waitress was attentive and made suggestions off of the menu, seeing that there were so many different options. We were a group of 4 and all of... More

Stopped in for an early dinner. The staff was very indifferent and slow. They obviously were modeling the manager's behavior. I came close to leaving no tip at all. The oysters were miniscule and overcooked while the fries were limp and soggy. An ordered wedge salad never appeared.

R&K's used to be one of the standards in SE Louisiana. As far as I know this is the only location left. We stumbled upon it yesterday as we were enjoying Baccus Sunday and I have to say it was disappointing. Service was less than enthusiastic, and while I'm certain the staff is completely drained because of Mardi Grad it's... More

We went to New Orleans for my fathers birthday in 2006. I was 15 at the time actually. When we mentioned that we were heading there to a group of my dads friends one of the couples told us we absolutely had to have dinner one night at Ralph & Kacoo's. So, two nights before our trip was over, we... More
