With a party of 12, including one who can't eat seafood, I made the mistake of making reservations elsewhere (Oceana Grill) despite my fondness for R&K, where I had my first New Orleans meal 30+ years ago. When Oceana failed to honor our reservations efficiently, I called R&K, and they agreed to quickly seat us. If you're a golfer, you'll... More

This place was pretty good. My husband and I went in around 6 that evening and received $2 martinis and the fried pickles were great. We only stayed for about an hour and the music was OK, not really fond of piano music.

Ralph & Kacoo's is an ok restaurant if you are in the French Quarter. Please understand that this is simply my opinion and a lot of their menu consists of fried seafood dishes and I generally do not eat much fried seafood. For people that love fried seafood, R & K may be the greatest for it. Their menu did... More

We ate here several years ago during one of several visits to NOLA and enjoyed it very much. We like to try different places when we visit but decided to try it again this visit. We went early (6pm) and there were only four tables with customers. We were seated immediately but it took forever for our waitress to greet... More

The beer on tap was all very hoppy and not to my taste. Others may find it good. They had no "pilsner like" beer available except in cans or bottles.

I have always enjoyed eating at R & K. I wasn't feeling 100% and I was hot and tired. So my experience this time was not the best. The waitperson was a special soul and she made my meal pleasant and once again enjoyable. The bacon wrapped shrimp were very good. I wasn't hungry enough to eat the twice baked... More

We were looking for a reasonably priced authentic Cajun food experience for our family. The food was delicious and reasonably priced with large servings. The staff from the hostess to the waiter were very welcoming and friendly. The atmosphere was also calm and quite.

Its always nice to start with good service. It was a slow Sunday night but our waitress had a real New Orleans charm. Everything we had was good - including the suggested alligator. Lobster bisque really amazing as well and the lobster mac and cheese quite tasty. Its worth visiting.

At first, when we entered, I thought that it was a fancy place that would accept you in tennis shoes. The tables are covered in white linen and there are two pianos on a little stage. However, it's a casual restaurant, with some pretty good food and awesome dessert. I would love to eat there again, only this time start... More

For once, instead of eating at the casino in Bossier we decided to explore some good Cajun food. I searched on line, but then decided to ask the dealers who are the local people were to eat. 2 of them said Ralph and Kacoos so that's where we went. It was fabulous. The service was awesome( Ashley) 20 tip from... More
