The concierge at the hotel recommended this restaurant. I should have done a little more research, because in a city known for its food, the place was just okay. The food was good, but not wonderful. The service was excellent.

We stumbled upon Oliviers on a Friday night at around 800pm. We were happy to get a nice cosy table for two in this small intimate feeling family run place. The manager and waiters were very friendly and helpful. The food was good: loved the jumbulya and the corn bread was great...like butter! We had a very pleasant no hassle... More

The food and service were excellent. The portions are generous and delicious. Try the fried catfish and jambalaya. It's was a yummy combo. The restaurant was so cold I finally had to leave. It made the meal really uncomfortable. I asked the server to turn the a/c up but I still ate my entire meal feeling freezing!

I had the shrimp scampi and my husband had the jambalaya and catfish. Both were very good. The scampi had so much parmesan in the sauce it was more of a cream sauce, but still very tasty. Service was excellent. Very nice restaurant and the food was worth the price.

The food was really good. Service was really good. The ambiance was great! The bathrooms were not as attractive as the main part of the restaurant. It was a bit more expensive than I thought it would be, but I'd go back.

Went there to celebrate a 60th birthday. The food and the service was out of this world. It was a bit pricy but it is made up in good tasting food and service. Authentic creole food with a great free starter of honey cornbread. Met the owner who came to our table and said hi to each of the 8... More

We had the shrimp platter and it was fantastic, service was good, they were very busy so I guess that would account for some of the wait, but the food was worth it, bathroom not the cleanest you would want, but great food. A little loud, but as I said, it was very busy. The wait staff had their hands... More

Chicken was undercooked. Food was barely warm and lacked flavor. Definitely not worth the price. Best thing was the gumbo.

Delicious creole cooking. Lovely atmosphere and warm, attentive, friendly service. A great chance to taste authentic creole dishes. You can't miss with anything on the menu.
