My son and I went here to get Po Boys. We both got a shrimp Po Boy which was loaded with shrimp. The sandwiches were very good. We went back for dinner and sat at the bar in front of the oyster shuckers. We had raw and also tried the grilled oysters. The raw oysters were good but the grilled... more

The food here is very average. It isn't bad, but hardly worth waiting in a long line for. There is better food at local dives a bit further off the beaten path. Try Coops for more down home New Orleans food if you don't need a fancy restaurant. more

Some of the best oysters I have ever had! The raw oysters were excellent; the chargrilled ones very good. The rest of the food was good, but not great. Definitely go here if you love oysters, if not, you can skip it. more

We ate here for dinner one night. We started off with an order of the chargrilled oysters, they were delicious. We all ordered a po'boy sandwich, they were OK at best. I would recommend them for their oysters then go elsewhere for the rest of your meal. more

We ate there on a Thursday night as a quick bite. Wait was not long . Restaurant loud, with lots of action. Food personally was mediocre. I think Acme is more of a novelty for Oyster lovers.(which we are not) . Fun atmosphere, Food very affordable. I had Shrimp Po'Boy and fries. Kinda bland, fries were not hot. more

For the second and third time we went (3 friends and I) to Acme. Amazing raw oysters, sea-gumbo and jambalaya. Spectacular! The long line is worth it, and it moves fast. more

Acme is not a place to have a relaxing meal. It is loud and basic. The food is good-typical seafood and some creole dishes. We had my adult nephew with us and I wished we had taken him somewhere nicer. We would not go back. more

I was looking to try chargrilled oysters, and found this restaurant on a list from the people running a convention my husband was attending. It was close so we tried it. The place is packed on a Sunday night after a Saints game, but we were given 2 seats at the end of a long table near the restrooms. We... more
