Wonderful dining experience.

The crab au gratin is the best I ever tasted!! The atmosphere is relaxed and the staff friendly and attentive. The owners are present and in touch with their staff and the diners. It is a really fine place to dine. Thank you.

The service was impeccable, the lady in charge of the floor was very much on top of things and her staff. Shelly was the lady that filled our drinks and took care of crumbs on the table -- she was the most attentive, friendliest and professional wait staff that we have had in a very long time. The restaurant's ambiance... More

I visited Bon Ton Cafe on the recommendation of the Staff at the Le Pavillon Hotel, they told me I would not be disappointed and they were right. The service was very efficient and courteous and even though I was dining alone they were very attentive and I was made to feel very comfortable. I enjoyed grilled local fish topped... More

Went here with a business team on a recommendation from a local. The food and service were just okay. Some dishes were very good (fresh drum) and some were not so good. The service was okay but didn't make us feel too special. So many good choices in New Orleans, wish we would have chosen another. Not horrible, just not... More

I came to this restaurant cause john besh told me (on TV), that the crabmeat au gratin was the best he ever had. I'm sorry, I'm not sure what he was eating but after trying the $33 crab meat au gratin, I was very disappointed. The "sauce" over powered any taste of crab and it just wasn't that good. Their... Bon Ton was truly a wonderful experience. Family owned/operated and one of the legacy restaurants in NOLA, you might think they are cruising. That was not my experience. The greeting, the service and the environment were all welcoming and warm. It seems to cater particularly to locals and business people and had a significant percentage of regulars which is a... We picked this cafe at random as we wanted some authentic NOLA cuisine. The restaurant seemed relatively well reviewed and the menu looked appetizing. The server was very nice and attentive. She was very good at upselling additional things that you didn't necessarily want. I had the crab au gratin which was apparently featured on the show "The best thing... More

We stayed in the Country Inn, just a block away (a great place itself, like all Country Inns). We ate at Bon Ton twice in four days. Good food, good service, good prices, and the owners (husband and wife) are on the floor----- greeting guests, thanking them for visiting and generally keeping operations moving (she was the hostess both time... This restaurant fell a little short of great, but still worth a stop. I had the crab au gratin and my husband had the red fish. Both were very good, just not great. The signature cocktail however was amazing and packed quite a bunch!
