We've eaten here for years and I've never been disappointed. Be sure to leave room for their famous Bread Pudding. If you ask for the recipe for that and the salad dressing, they will give you both. A favorite they no longer have on the menu but you can ask for is the Redfish Alzinga (close enough) named after the... More

Finally had the chance to go to Bon Ton and it did not disappoint. Our server was incredible and the food was the same. I had the seafood gumbo and wife had turtle soup to start. For dinner, we both had red fish prepared two different ways (I had it "Bon Ton" and she had it "Alzina"). Both were excellent.... More

WeI've been going to Bon Ton Café for years. I love their crawfish etouffee. The last time we ate there it was not as good... but I'm willing to say all restaurants have off days and keep going back. Other than that one visit, we've never had a bad meal here. One of my favorites.

A great place to eat and enjoy. The Bayou Jambalaya was outstanding, the fish filet with crabs (a signature dish) was very good but nothing compared with the Bayou Jambalaya that dish was amazing. The place was packed at 12:30pm so we had to wait about 15 min after 1:30pm the place was almost empty since a lot of people... More

We returned to Bon Ton Cafe after three years with a little trepidation. We remembered our first night there fondly, but sometimes memories can be deceiving. We didn't need to worry. We had a great meal and a great evening this time, too. The food was still great. Wonderful gumbo. Spectacular fish. Everything on the plate was just right. But,... More

This is a local's favorite with a fantastic menu. Debbie and Wayne Pierce run a great restaurant and are always around to greet customers. Crawfish Bisque is the best I've ever tasted in the entire U.S.! Try Redfish Bon Ton with a dry martini! Enjoy.

We discovered Bon Ton by just walking around since it just happens to be ideally located the middle of the REAL "downtown" - District. What a pleasant surprise. Food was really special ...sea food with the "NOLA" vibe and local and the cocktails .... including their secret Rum Ramsey... provided added fun and cache. Service was also as good as... More

OLD SCHOOL NOLA! This is not the latest invention or concoction to come out of a mega chef's kitchen. This is excellent cooking comin out the way its been done traditionally from someones Grandmas kitchen for years! I will now tell you a story..... I came to NOLA right after the storm to help with a rebuild project. While on... More

Great food served by a very friendly staff. They had all of the classic New Orleans dishes even turtle soup (excellent). Looked like customers were mostly local business men and women (at lunch).

Had a Rum Ramsey cocktail. Definitely worth the hype. The whiskey sauce on the bread pudding is not just whiskey in name! Potent and yummy.
