Truely me favorite restaurant in New Orleans. Have to come here when I visit the city. Have the Crawfish Etuffee (spelling) or the fish special. You won't go wrong.

My brother told us about this restaurant over 25 years ago, and we went on our road trip honeymoon. Its charm was old fashioned and the food just as authentic as other reviewers have said. We are on our way back to New Orleans in March and will make sure to visit this place again, for the great southern hospitality... More

Visited with co-workers while on business in NOLA. This place screams nostalgia. Pat our waitress has worked there forever, as well as the chef and everyone else. The menu is built around a couple of items, a locally sourced fish, good lump crab, crawfish, shrimp and oysters. Each option for the one fish served includes one or more of the... More

We had a wonderful dinner, each choosing a different fish/seafood choice. One of the best ever! The service was outstanding! We will return! Glad we had reservations..highly suggest you call ahead.

Went to dinner with friends for our last night in NO. The Bon Ton Cafe was recommended by the Harrah's concierge and it did not disappoint. The atmosphere was very accommodating, intimate quiet and well appointed. It was perfect as the venue is not large and loud.... The wait staff was excellent, very attentive and friendly. We all stayed with seafood... More

this restaurant was recommended by the Sheraton Hotel and it turned out to be excellent with delicious Kajun recipes at modest prices. The only snag is that even though I had made a reservation, I had to wait for 30 minutes for a table to become available. It is best to go as early as possible so as not to... More

We felt personally honoured at the lengths the staff went to in accommodating my wife and I. The maître d (son of the owner) was an absolute gentleman and our lunch was delicious to boot.

The fish was perfect the service was great. At first we were a little surprised by the atmosphere the red and white checked table clothes and older crowd but the food was fantastic. We were there for lunch, the place was packed I would go early and get the fish or crawfish jambalaya.

We visited here for an early dinner prior to a departure early the next morning. The noise level grew as time went on – but what would you expect with a roomful of Alabama fans two days before the Sugar Bowl. The service was prompt and professional, and the food definitely lived up to expectations. The restaurant, and the servers... More
