Welcome to New Orleans.....our first meal on arrival

We determined this locally owned restaurant was a seven -minute walk from the Hilton Riverside, so it became our destination for dinner after dropping off our bags. We planned a Rehearsal Dinner at Bon Ton in New Orleans and were very pleased we chose this venue. It is a family owned restaurant, and they take great pride in every detail of the menu and service. Many of the recipes are very old, have been used through several generations. We were a group of 20 people. There were... More

This restaurant was next door to our hotel, so we had lunch there and also dinner. The food, was very good and the service was great. Would eat there again if we in New Orleans for another vacation.

Delicious food (they even shared a few recipes), courteous and prompt service, lovely atmosphere are the three accolades I would use to describe our dining experience. This restaurant was recommended by a 2nd generation local, so it has to be good.

Excellent food and service. We enjoyed our visit with the server who is a native of the city. Very pleasant and not terribly expensive. Great local cuisine.

Amazing ambience, food, and service!!! Everything we have ordered has been outstanding including the crab au gratin and bread pudding with butter pecan ice cream. We had our wedding rehearsal dinner at the restaurant and it is a must visit every time we are in New Orleans!!!

If you like craw fish then you have to make time to visit Bon Ton Cafe. I had the craw fish dinner, which consisted of craw fish cooked 4 different and distinct ways, each one bursting with flavor. On of the other people at my table ordered the crab au gratin, and it was unbelievably good, but was a little... More

We revisted Bon Ton, after a number of year's absence, and were not disappointed. It is located on Magasin Street in the warehouse district, but only a short walk away from "The Quarter". It was very busy on a Thursday night (*our last in N.O.) but we had made our reservation well in advance (as you should). Warmly greeted, we... More

Amazing food and great service. Try the house rum drink (a secret recipe) and the crab au gratin. Plus, save room for the BEST bread pudding ever. Ever.

We traveled to New Orleans from San Antonio, TX for my Birthday, and Bon Ton Cafe is was a place my husband picked for a nice dinner. And we greatly enjoyed it. Fantastic service, and the food was really good. Worth visiting again. The bread pudding was awesome! And I'm not a fan of bread pudding. lol
