Have to have Shrimp Arnaud

We have been coming here for ages. When in New Orleans this is a regular stop. We always have the Shrimp Arnaud to start. Delicious! This time we also shared a catfish poorboy. Also very good. The Bloody Mary's were spot on. We'll definitely be back.

Good oysters and drinks. Our first stop on bourbon street. Our hotel recommended this restaurant while we waited for our room to be ready.

Loved the friendliness and efficiency of wait staff and kitchen. Food perfectly prepared, exactly what I had wanted. Best boudin I've had since I've been here, and pecan pie like Mom used to make.

What's more New Orleans than red beans and rice on a Monday? We stopped at Remoulade for lunch, although we try not to be on Bourbon Street if we can help it. Turned out to be a great decision! The atmosphere is casual and friendly, and the restaurant wasn't crowded-- I'm sure it must be packed tight for dinner, so... More

This was our first time to New Orleans and we wanted to try a Po-Boy before leaving. Our hotel recommended Remoulades. We found the Po-Boys to be bland and they did not have an option for a non deep fried shrimp poboy. Maybe this is standard. In any case, the staff was great and very attentive but the food just... Thank you for your review. I am so sorry that you did not enjoy the shrimp po-boy. I will talk with the chef about the possibility of adding a non-fried option; what a fantastic idea! I am glad that you had such a positive experience with our wonderful staff. I hope you will give us another chance to wow you... More

On Bourbon Street, this restaurant shone out as it is the casual sister restaurant to the local eatery 'Arnauds'. The decor is excellent and the staff efficient and friendly. We opted for some typical New Orleans dishes: Jambalaya and shrimp po boys. We were blown away by both....delicious, fresh and tasty. We also had a side of cheese fries which... More

Had oyster appetizer and Catfish PoBoy. Fish had a light crunchy batter. Our first meal in NOLA and we enjoyed it. Good for lunch and light fare.

GROSS! My husband and I both got a different 3 dish sample entree and each one (red beans/rice, jambalaya, shrimp creole, etc.) tasted like bland Zatarain's. The shrimp used was the size of the tiny salad shrimp. Don't waste your time or money on this place.

Very casual, we went for local basics at a good price and that part was good. Service was lackluster and the food took a long time to get there.

It was a busy night on Saturday during Spring Break so the street was wild. The oyster bar and bar in Remoulade was very crowded too but they found us a table within about 10 minutes. We ordered a combo of jambalaya, crawfish pie and file gumbo. The server helpfully suggested that two combos might be too much for us... More
