We went to Remoulade one very cold evening because it was just around the corner from our hotel and we wanted something light. The food was mediocre. Neither the gumbo nor the po boy that we had were particularly good. Service was really good.

We visit this place a few times a year. We get the same thing every time . They have the most delicious Turtle soup of any restaurant anywhere. It's meaty, dark and earthy. If you enjoy something out of the ordinary. Order this dish and wash it down with some Southern Comfort.Great combination. By the way southern comfort was invented in... My partner and I stopped past this restaurant for lunch and ordered the Buffalo Wings, Red Beans and Rice, and Jambalaya. The food was delicious and great value for money, the Jambalaya was very tasty and Buffalo Wings were amazing. By far the best Buffalo wings I have ever tasted! Red Beans and Rice was also nice. The service was... More

Hard to believe but it is possible in NO to find a place that doesn't serve good shrimp. Perhaps we were just there on a bad day, but had to send back shrimp. Waitress seemed mystified that we were not happy with rubbery, cold, old shrimp, but she did take them off the bill as we requested. Salad and gumbo... More

The restaurant was very close to our hotel. There was a short wait which wasn't a problem. The food is so average and there are lots of other restaurants in the French Quarter that you can go too. The mixed green salad was actually iceberg lettuce and not good at all. The shrimp bisque had no shrimp in it and... More

Stopped in here for lunch on New Year's Eve. Place was packed, with quite a wait for a table but it was well worth it. We could have been seated more quickly at the bar, but wanted to sit back where it was a little quieter. The menu has a wide variety of choices and is reasonably priced. I had... More

I ordered the boiled shrimp here. We were there during dinner hour and my daughter tried a shrimp etouffe entree. Too bad for her. There is no tablecloth. Napkins are flimsy bits of paper one takes out of container to try to protect the silverware dumped on the table surface. The sides of boiled potato and cole slaw were a... More

I Have been here twice. The food has been good both times. It's a bit pricey, but still no where near as expensive as some places. The service isn't the best, and I've experienced that both times. The staff is friendly, but don't come to the table too often. It's quiet inside compared to most places, and it is clean.

Service is spotty, the food is FAST and GREAT. We had one oyster and one shrimp po-boy. Huge, full of plump shrimp and oysters, almost too big to eat.

The menu has a lot to offer. The wait staff (Ashley) was very attentive. Had oysters, fried shrimp, and the taste of New Orleans. Everything was great except for the crawfish pie which was too doughy. The waitress brought a cup of seafood gumbo in lieu of this item without asking. You can see the kitchen from any seat which...
