I thought I had seen some positive reviews of this place, and decided to give it a try. The ambiance was that of a sweatshop, squads of nervous workers and sharp eyed supervisors. We sat at the "bar." Our server offered up a brief, anxious smile, then got back into the assembly line. Service to people IN the restaurant was... More

The freshest and best tasting fish in the entire area. The sushi, sashimi and other Japanise favorites are high quality and presented with flare. Price is very favorable and portions are filling. There are American favorites too so don't eliminate this restaurant. Happy, courteous servers, sushi chefs and owners. There is an appetite urge to eat there weekly. Don't miss... More

Spicy tuna roll is high quality. The Udon tempura soup is delicious, and comes with a huge amount of soup and shrimp and vegetable tempura. Quick delivery.

Excellent selection to choose from, a taste for everyone. An extensive menu that includes some of my favorite exotic ingredients. The miso soup rises above others and the last time I had a spicy tuna that was that good I was in Chinatown. They are very generous with the amount of fish in their rolls. I found with the high... Hadn't been here in a while and pleased to find out nothing has changed. They have some sushi choices that I don't find in other places (amberjack, lemon fish etc.). Way back when they had a $.99 per piece sushi special for about 15 of the most common sushi that was advertised on the wall. That is gone now and... More

The Tropical Roll is my favorite. They put this spicy coconut sauce on it that you want to lick the plate! We always enjoy the cold sesame noodle salad, crunchy dynamite roll and gyoza every time we eat at Mikimoto . The Escolar is always fresh and melts like butter in your mouth. There is just a touch of sriracha... More

The food is fresh and they have a lot of specialty rolls. It is near the Rock N Bowl, which has premier acts almost every nights.
