I had lunch at Sakamoto Cafe today and I have to say I was less than impressed. The portions were smaller than 3 pectin though that may be something they do at lunchtime. The rice was almost wet and really detracted from the meal. The 'salad', though free, was very disappointing and the cooked tuna/salmon tasted and looked like someone's... More

I really love their selection of sushi rolls. They have some very interesting and creative combinations. Everything tasted very fresh and delicious. The waitstaff was very friendly and attentive. Its a winner!

Whenever I come to New Orleans, I eat sushi at this place. The rolls are the best in town. We typically sit at the sushi bar and order a few. They are creative, and the prices reasonable. I love the place, and will keep coming whenever I am in town.

I ordered the tuna, salmon and crawfish rolls. It was all very good, considering I had a mad craving for some sushi while visiting NOLA. Would recommend this place for the casual sushi diner.

What more can you ask for???? Oh yes, reasonable prices! And yes, this restaurant has ALL four. My husband and I were thoroughly blown away with the freshness and flavor of the dishes here on a recent date night. We highly recommend you experience it for yourself. Don't let the mixed reviews discourage you. They delayed our visit. But our... More

The reviews of this place tell me that the people who gave Sake Cafe a positive review usually purchase their sushi from the grocery store. Words cannot begin to express how awful the sushi was. Our first clue should have been the fact the place was empty on a Saturday night. Lets talk about the "menu". The majority of the... More

Will pass up the smaller Cafe Sake locations in Jefferson Parish to hit this one up. Great atmosphere! Discovered the Fire Pot Soup this trip and love it. The wait staff is always willing to bend over backwards to make your experience wonderful.

My daughter has eaten as Sake many times and when I was recently in New Orleans, she wanted me to try it. This restaurant has its own parking lot, so that is helpful. We ate there on a Wednesday night in January, and we were promptly seated in a roomy booth. There server was prompt. I ordered the Gyoza appetizer,... More

The sushi was wonderful and they serve some special roles with a New Orleans flare. I loved the poboy sushi and would recommend you try it.
