What great music we heard on Saturday night!!! The band was amazing - Jamie St. Pierre and the Honey Creepers. They are there every Saturday. The "taco truck" food looked amazing too!!!

We really our time at Cafe Negril. The bartender was very kind to us. We asked what she recommended to drink and she suggested a dark and stormy( rum and ginger beer) she was spot on! My new favorite drink. We really enjoyed the authentic music that the band was playing. Charles was a delight and very smart about the... More

After Spotted Cat we happened upon Negril. Great choice. The band playing was very good and entertaining. Very interactive. The crowd was there to listen to some terrific jazz. Our last night in New Orleans ended on a great note with our visit to Negril. The band playing there was Ecrib Muller's Twisted Dixie. Look them up.

We definitely wanted to go out on Frenchman Street but not being regular Jazz aficionados, we didn't want to pay a cover and then not like the band. Cafe Negril had a great band playing when we went in and we stayed for the rest of their set. Drinks and snacks were good with quick service. All you need for... More

My wife and I were just looking for some free music and a quick snack while we were waiting for a show at another local venue. Cafe Negril was spacious and had a band taking the stage, so we wandered in. It was a great experience. The band was fun and the bartenders attentive. We grabbed some quesadillas and tacos... More

Went here to see a local band play that we like to follow when we are in town. The place is a great venue to see live music and enjoy your favorite beverage. We did not eat anything here so cant say anything about the food. Service was decent , sound was great and of course Shotgun Jazz Band can... More

Recently in NoLa with my girlfriend for a few days getaway and while staying at the R&B bed and breakfast, Cafe Negril was recommended to us. We had a great time, the bands were superb and the atmosphere was perfect!

The band was great and played a perfect set for the mood. Although the bar was packed it was clean and well maintained. The food was PHENOMENAL; I can't wait to go back for more!

Wandered in here a couple nights and saw great music both times! It wasn't overly packed, it has reasonably priced drinks, a cool atmosphere and if your night of drinking has got you craving some eats, the late night food there is pretty decent too! Pretty friendly spot and a great way to meet some cool people. Would return again.

Took my Inlaws and wife wife here for some drinks and a couple of slices of pizza. Much better than anything on Bourbon St except for maybe Pat O's or Preservation Hall. Go to Frenchman St and see how real New Orleaneans live.
