Perfect Reggae vibe in thd middle of Jazztown!

I witnessed the energy of a live reggae band there and it was awesome. The band gave off this energy and the crowd ate it up!! No cover, cheap drinks and lots of noise! A must on Frenchmen st.

Recently in NoLa with my girlfriend for a few days getaway and while staying at the R&B bed and breakfast, Cafe Negril was recommended to us. We had a great time, the bands were superb and the atmosphere was perfect!

The band was great and played a perfect set for the mood. Although the bar was packed it was clean and well maintained. The food was PHENOMENAL; I can't wait to go back for more!

Wandered in here a couple nights and saw great music both times! It wasn't overly packed, it has reasonably priced drinks, a cool atmosphere and if your night of drinking has got you craving some eats, the late night food there is pretty decent too! Pretty friendly spot and a great way to meet some cool people. Would return again.

Took my Inlaws and wife wife here for some drinks and a couple of slices of pizza. Much better than anything on Bourbon St except for maybe Pat O's or Preservation Hall. Go to Frenchman St and see how real New Orleaneans live.

Great Mexican food or pizza in the back of what looks like a live music venue. You'd never know they have a kitchen from the outside, it looks like a place for live music...but the food is great and cheap!!

Rubens Taco Truck is located in the back of this venue. And the food here was absolutely amazing. The quesadilla was super cheesy and the pork/pineapple corn tacos were super tasty (3 was plenty for my appetite). While we sat at the bar for a beer and food, we were able to catch a little music. Nice vibe. This place.

Its a second time we visited this bar within last week. On each occassion band is awesome! Today we went first to different bar on same street where bartender made us feel very unwelcome. We came back here. Lovely lady behind the bar served us immediately with smile. I explained i would like sweet fruity drink and started explaining potentially... More
