In its dazzling contemporary setting among the bold iconic canvases of George Rodrigue’s Blue Dog, Besh Steak is not your traditional steakhouse. 150 rich brown leather seats, some in private curtained booths, are set among crystal puddles of azure blue. A sleek, backlit wall of wine bottles is flanked by a glowing amber bar and an open brushed-silver kitchen. High-rolling guests and food critics alike will be swept away with the cool dining grandeur at Besh Steak in Harrah's New Orleans. Please note that you and your party must be 21 years or older to enter. The restaurant melds Chef John Besh's devotion to local Louisiana ingredients and techniques with traditional steakhouse menu items. Wine and spirits are also an integral part of the dining experience at Besh Steak, with hand-selected cellar choices to accompany each dish.

Great Steak . Better Oysters.

Been here 5 times in 3 years. I get the cowboy ribeye and it is perfectly consistent every time. This time we got fried oysters as an appetizer .... And they are the best and most uniquely fried I have ever seen. Dark batter ... Like a ru......... Excellent.

While I was taking a risk at the tables in Harrah's Casino I went over to Besh Steakhouse for dinner. I ordered for starters a fresh salad and Asparagus soup. The salad was good but the soup was excellent. The soup was rich and creamy with a good taste. My main entrée was the Rib eye steak which had a... More

Had a lovely dinner at Besh on Saturday February 14th. I had the pork chop with the corn and crab risotto, it was excellent. For dessert we shared the bread pudding which was a large portion easily feeding two people.

We ate at Besh under a high recommendation. It is suppose to be a top notch place where reservations are needed and steaks start at $65 a piece. We are beer, burger & wing people, however, we love a good steak and like to eat at one "fancy" place when we travel and this was our choice. My Rib Eye... More

The moment you step in to this restaurant you are treated exceptional. The Hostess, and Servers were cheerful and professional. We were seated quickly, and I appreciated the courteous service. The bread and Liver Pate was delicious to start off the meal. Everyone at the table ordered the14 ounce Cast-Iron Seared Ribeye steak, topped with peppercorn sauce. It melted in our mouth.... More

My husband had a steak and said it was the best steak he has ever had. I had three appetizers and everyone of them were divine. Would go back for sure.

The staff are welcoming and friendly. Started us off with crispy bread slices with liver pate. We ordered appetizers and main dish. With the crispy bread and appetizers filled me up that we took our main dish to go. It was bagged complete with utensils and napkins.

Hitting it big at the Blackjack table may be cause for a celebration, or there may not even be a special reason in mind when visiting Besh Steak. It honestly doesn't matter, because you have hit a jackpot just walking through the door. The atmosphere at Besh Steak is one of casual elegance. While you are reminded that you are... More

I'm working my way backwards because the biggest , most pleasant surprise was the price. This is an upscale steakhouse, the kind where I'm used to spending maybe $90 or so for one person for a filet, Caesar salad and vegetable and potato sides. Besh was $65! Now, I'll start at the beginning. The restaurant was relatively empty at 7... More

Service was great as was the food! We all had the special filet and poached lobster tail--was very good! Blackberry sorbet was fresh and relish!
