Description: In its dazzling contemporary setting among the bold iconic canvases of George Rodrigue’s Blue Dog, Besh Steak is not your traditional steakhouse. 150 rich brown leather seats, some in private curtained booths, are set among crystal puddles of azure blue. A sleek, backlit wall of wine bottles is flanked by a glowing amber bar and an open brushed-silver kitchen. High-rolling guests and food critics alike will be swept away with the cool dining grandeur at Besh Steak in Harrah's New Orleans. Please note that you and your party must be 21 years or older to enter. The restaurant melds Chef John Besh's devotion to local Louisiana ingredients and techniques with traditional steakhouse menu items. Wine and spirits are also an integral part of the dining experience at Besh Steak, with hand-selected cellar choices to accompany each dish.

We were welcomed at the entry way by a rather rude young lady who said they weren't accepting walk in business the night we went. No problem, except 90% of the tables were completely empty at 7:00 pm. If this is their policy, they should make people aware that reservations are required. We ended up finding 2 seats at the... The service and the food was excellent. I would certainly eat there again. It was a bit expensive but the food was delicious.

First time eating here with friends who frequent Harrah's. First of all, let me say that the service and management were excellent. Anthony our server was very attentive. I give 5 stars for service. I ordered the ribeye, medium. It came with Peppecorn sauce which was very, very salty and I like salty food. So for me to say it... More

Very underwhelmed with the quality and service. Our server tonight, had no personality. I don't even remember her name because I don't remember her saying, tall brunette with glasses. She never said more than the minimum when coming to the table, very disappointing. What was even worse was my steak, I ordered a medium and got well done, zero pink.... More

This steakhouse, tucked in a corner of Harrah's casino, has some wonderful dishes. Top for me is the ribeye. I asked them to skip the peppercorn sauce and bring me bearnaise instead. Great choice! The bearnaise was the best I've had since Paris. I was underwhelmed by the appetizer course, but I loved the complimentary pâté, though my husband found... More

Wonderful meal, staff was very helpful getting us in with the wheelchair. The only problem was our waitress, Shawn, totally shut down when we wouldn't order wine. We had to get a manager to fill our water glasses. When Shawn breezed by she was carrying a tray full of drinks for another table but we had to wait another 10... More

Sat at the bar and was ignored for a little while. I guess I was not dressed up enough, but considering there was a passed out gentelman at the bar next to my friend I figured I was upscale. I ordered the ribeye and it was excellent. Had some sauted mushrooms and they were great also. Total bill for me... More

Get the steak! It was very tender and flavorful, would return in a heart beat. Someone else at the table got shrimp and grits and they said it was very good also.

This is not a Ceasars run restaurant and it showed. We dine in many of their restaurants around the country and thought that this would be as good as any. It was not. First the service was crappy for a so called upscale restaurant. The pumpkin soup was okay and the rest of the meal went downhill after thst. Hey... More

Absolutely fantastic. I got the pork chops. The side that accompanied it was one of the best items I've ever eaten. Garlic creamed corn with crab. Oh my gosh. There is a crab ravioli appetizer that is phenomenal. The waitress, Dawn, was so friendly. She gave us recommendations that aren't on the tour guides. The only down side to this... More
