Our dinner at Atchafalaya was outstanding. We visited on a Sunday evening with a small group. Our dishes were all flavorful and beautifully presented. In a time where seemingly everything is premade or mass produced, this restaurant's attention to detail and fresh, homemade quality really shines. My choices were the gnocchi of the day (excellent) and the pan-roasted chicken "pot... More

We try to get together with friends when we can, and we have special ones in New Orleans and special friends who travel to New Orleans for the second week of February every year. So we made our travel plans, found out we'd be in New Orleans for Saint Valentine's Day, and truly was inspired to visit Atchafalaya by one... More

We had a Sunday brunch here recently. Try to sit outside and enjoy the ambiance. Tried the Shrimp and Grits, Truffle Oil Omelette, Fish Tacos and Jalapeño Corn Bre(this was the best item). Service was very good.

We were there for a bachelorette dinner. The staff was so polite, the chef was friendly and the food was phenomenal. We had the ravioli, fried green tomatoes, Poutine swordfish, gnocchi, and mussels. Finished off with the bread pudding and chocolate cake. There were five of us and the meal was out of this world. I would recommend it

My husband and I stayed in a nearby hotel and this restaurant was recommended by the staff. We were very impressed by the food and very helpful staff.

Croweded, but worth the wait. We sat at the bar, talked to locals, got great food and a weeks worth of restaurant recommendations. The super-nice bartender even called a couple of places for us to try and wheedle reservations at the last minute. Food: Yum, yum, yum. Don't miss the eggs over boudin, or the Bloody Mary bar, and try... More

This is one of our favorite restaurants in New Orleans. Disappointed a bit in the set menu because of our party size but all of the dishes were great especially the chop and the fish special. I just hated that we missed out some of our favorite apps but as usual, the entire experience was great. Don't miss this one!

This intimate restaurant features a chef who has been on the Food Network competitions and he is fabulous. Every dish we ordered was perfection - in terms of flavor, contrast, ingredients - everything! I would eat there every day if I lived there!
