This was BY FAR the best meal we had in NOLA. My husband had a steak that was melt in your mouth delicious while I had the special of the night- flounder with crab meat, sweet potatoes and a pistachio pesto. We ended with the strawberry goat cheese bread pudding- out. of. this. world. OMG- absolutely delicious! The atmosphere is... More

My son saw this recommended on Bordain show. We went for brunch and were faced with a 2 hour wait. So we put our names in and went for a walk down Magazine Street. When we walked back early enough not to miss our place, we only had to wait about 5 minutes. So it all work out very well... More

I admit I am a brunch 'fanatic' in the true sense of the word- my favorite meal, and this place delivered with a contemporary take on many NOLA favorites. Great waiter who grew up down the street- where else does that happen?

Took the family here for brunch. Didn't have a reservation and so had to wait for a while, but definitely worth it. Wonderful brunch and we tried a lot of different things. Highly recommend the Eggs Louisiana and the French toast was wonderful. Eggs Benedict also good, as was the fruit and granola (not too sweet). The coffee was amazing.... More

We had brunch here on Easter Sunday and were so glad we did. Best build your own virgin or alcohol Bloody Mary bar in the world, no kidding. Great combo playing excellent background music. Food delicious -- from my arugula salad with huge grilled shrimp and kalamata dressing to the Huz's creole oyster concoction over rice. One of the food... More

We had eaten at many good places in Nola, but this one came as a true surprise. world-class service combined with truly amazing food. The Blue cheese flan dessert is nothing short of stunning. One of the best restaurants I've ever been to. Bravissimo!

Began the evening with a spicy ginger margarita...very nice. Started with fried green tomatoes...excellent. Next the shrimp and grits entrée...excellent. Finished with blue cheese flan...out of this world. One of the most unexpectedly flavorful desserts I have ever tried. Our amiable server Jake delivered a small glass of Sauterne with dessert, which was to be sipped while enjoying the flan.... More

We came here because my sister had read reviews on it. It's a quaint little place and was full. We were seated upstairs and it was quite nice. I ordered the soup which was tasty because this was our last stop of 3 in the previous bar hopping 3 hours. My sister ordered fried green tomatoes and was happy enough... More

My husband and I had Sunday Brunch at Atchafalaya last fall. The specialty breakfast menu was small but diverse. The interior of this old house is narrow, but the tables were not jammed together. We didn't opt for the Bloody-Mary bar, but it looked nice. Food was good if a little pricey. We would return and I would recommend reservations.
