This is one of our favorite restaurants in New Orleans. Disappointed a bit in the set menu because of our party size but all of the dishes were great especially the chop and the fish special. I just hated that we missed out some of our favorite apps but as usual, the entire experience was great. Don't miss this one!

This intimate restaurant features a chef who has been on the Food Network competitions and he is fabulous. Every dish we ordered was perfection - in terms of flavor, contrast, ingredients - everything! I would eat there every day if I lived there!

"Best meal of the 4 day trip". First off - this is off the beaten path in the Garden District. You can drive right passed it. We had diner for 4. My daughter had a steak, her boyfriend had the filet, my wife had the risotto and I had the pork chop. All were excellent. Wine (all French) was very... More

The only reason I'm writing a review here is so I will remember this place and be able to come back. All the other reviews say it all. The bloody mary bar (!!!), the other cocktails, the cornbread (OMGGGGG). My boyfriend got the duck hash, which we both loved. I got the shrimp and grits. Honestly they were a little... More

We had brunch at Atchafalaya with family who lives in the Garden District. It is not on the main street so I doubt we would have gone there had they not taken us. It is small, on a residential street, and was quite full on January 2 when we visited. We were able to get drinks from the bar while... More

Went here on the recommendation of a local. It was the best meal of our trip. I has a special mussels for appetizer and the NY strip for main. My husband has scallops and the pork belly. Bread pudding for dessert. All were fantastic. The service was excellent. Setting was simple but nice and cosy in the old house. Cab... More

Great food, exceptional service. Everything you would expect in a top rated restaurant. Everyone enjoyed their food and the tuna/pork belly dish I had was amazing. It's well away from the typical tourist area in a quiet residential area which was refreshing after spending the day in crowds downtown.

First of all, we came to this restaurant in New Years Eve, probably the worst time to visit any restaurant. The food was not very good (only the oysters are worth trying) and it was too expensive. Still, the atmosphere was nice and the staff very friendly. We even got some free champagne.

Oh My Word! This place is absolutely wonderful! Make a reservation, or you can forget it. Also don't be in a hurry. After all, it is the Big Easy. You are going to eat some of the best Nawlins has to offer.

Enjoyed Atchafalaya on our first night in New Orleans. Service was attentive and pleasant and we enjoyed the fried green tomatoes with crab and the free-form crab ravioli in particular.
