O_M_G - Delicious brunch! I had the Eggs Atchafalaya and it was one of the best meals I have ever had. The restaurant - in a house - is adorable; very bright and sunny, and the tables are spaced out nicely so you don't feel like you are eating on top of people. Everyone in my party of 7 rated... More

We had a fabulous time here. Attentive waitstaff who answered all our questions. A excellent wine with my sautéed drum for which I practically liked the plate and a great rum with our bread pudding dessert

The welcome was amiable; the sommelier was good. Our server was new and not all that comfortable but that was no big deal. The house is a pleasant bar and restaurant with cramped tables but pretty good atmosphere. Where this restaurant falls down is by playing the "more funky than thou" restaurant game. The novelty dishes are "interesting", but one... More

The restaurant is off the beaten path. And that's a good thing! It was a very nice change from the usual restaurants in the touristed areas of New Orleans. Located in what used to be a home in a residential section of New Orleans it really has a charming homey feel. But even better the food, the drink, and service... More

We went for brunch on a Saturday. Amazing. Soft shell crab, over grits topped with egg! Go a tad early and enjoy the music or go with a big group a book a room upstairs! Very sweet service and charming casual atmosphere.

We were a party of 11 and it was the best experience I have ever had with such a large group. I worked directly with both owners and both were incredibly accommodating. They sat us in beautiful private room (the restaurant is in an old house and it is a really cool place). Rachael, one of the owners, helped me... More

I had heard about Atchafalaya from a friend as a brunch recommendation. I first went to New Orleans with a group of girlfriends and we mostly stayed in the french quarter. I went back a few months later and knew I want to try this place out - glad we ventured out, it was great! We did make a reservation... More

Incredibly delicious from start to finish, wonderful, service unpretentious setting. We had scallops, charcuterie, lamb meatballs and pork belly and tuna with pumpkin bread pudding. Great wine selection. FABULOUS!

Came here recently for a business event and the food was great and the waitstaff were also wonderful. However, the private rooms for a private event were really small. We felt as if were on top of each other.

Absolutely worth a trip from Mobile. Tony and Chef Chris were super, the restaurant is very cozy and they make you feel so welcome. There will definitely be a return visit(s)!!!
