An Incredible Treat

This is a little restaurant in a residential area in the Garden District. I had to help our taxi driver find the location! It was well worth it. I was underwhelmed with the art work and environment but frankly who cares, the food was amazing. I wanted to do a swam dive into the shrimp and grits... read more

This restaurant is about a 5 minute walk off of the St. Charles streetcar stop, through a beautiful and quiet residential neighborhood. The atmosphere was casual but upscale and romantic at the same time. Very cozy! The waitstaff and a gentleman who we assumed was the manager were all extremely accommodating and prompt. My husband had a chicken pot pie... More

We had come for dinner some time back and were very disappointed in the service and the food was just so so. It was actually a very painful experience. We decided to come back for brunch and SO glad we did! Service was amazing - food out of this world! Great neighborhood gem!! We will be back!

We reserved a table for 4, but the wife didn't answer the conformation phone call. So we had a short wait when we arrived. We were seated in a small private room. Very cozy and intimate. A great place to hold a conversation and eat. We ordered 3 appetizers and our entrees. Our appetizers arrived shortly. Fried tomatoes, clams and... More

Let's start with the beautifully redesigned space of an old colonial home, and the incredibly well informed and helpful staff. Then add the huge selection of custom cocktails, created from house-made liquors. Now add a big portion of menu items that use local seasonal ingredients, and save room for dessert! That adds up to a fantastic meal out, and well... More

Had brunch here on an early Sunday in March for a friends birthday. From the outside it looks tiny but inside it's quite spread out over many rooms. There were 15 of us and they tucked us conveniently into a solitary room with a round table. Thank god because we were rowdy. Service was without fault. The Bloody Mary Bar... More

This was BY FAR the best meal we had in NOLA. My husband had a steak that was melt in your mouth delicious while I had the special of the night- flounder with crab meat, sweet potatoes and a pistachio pesto. We ended with the strawberry goat cheese bread pudding- out. of. this. world. OMG- absolutely delicious! The atmosphere is... More

My son saw this recommended on Bordain show. We went for brunch and were faced with a 2 hour wait. So we put our names in and went for a walk down Magazine Street. When we walked back early enough not to miss our place, we only had to wait about 5 minutes. So it all work out very well... More

I admit I am a brunch 'fanatic' in the true sense of the word- my favorite meal, and this place delivered with a contemporary take on many NOLA favorites. Great waiter who grew up down the street- where else does that happen?
