From the first phone call I knew this place seemed special. We were treated like queens, very good service, drinks, food, ambiance. I wish the very nice owner all the best, he was a gem! My only concern, and this is no fault of his, was that you should cab home at night, as we felt bit unsafe walking back... More

If you are a fan of brunch and if you want a break from the tourist nuttyness of the FQ, then you should definitely make reservations at Atchafalaya. But DO make reservations! We had ours a good 2 months in advance, and I'm so glad we did. The place was PACKED when we went, and the weight was 2+ hours... More

Definitely a must for meals in New Orleans. Somehow managed to be special despite serving many of the staples of Louisiana low country cuisine.

What is not to like about this restaurant? We went for brunch with a large group after being referred by a New Orleans resident and everyone concurred that it was a fantastic experience in every aspect. The restaurant has a nice Bloody Mary bar, a split-level setup, and is aesthetically pleasing inside and out. The staff is friendly and really... More

We were a family of 6 who ordered 5 different meals. All good! We asked some locals where we should eat if we only had one night. This place was mentioned more than once and for good reason. Very sociable staff topped it off. Thanks.

Local friends treated me to this spot during my last night in NOLA and said it was one of the best places in town.. Fantastic! The hospitality, wine, service and food were all excellent. We had a few little troubles with a few small things, but the staff acted quickly and treated everything with class. They brought us four desserts... More

We stumbled upon this lovely place in the Garden District at lunch time and went in. The girl at the bar made me a beautiful Pimms Cup and we then enjoyed the duck hash with a side of grits. The food was wonderful and the servers were friendly; we will definitely plan to come back!

We walked from our hotel on Bourbon street. to this restaurant it was a long walk about (3.5 miles) but it was well worth it we had their signature dishes and a few cocktails. I only wish they had a second location near me. You can not go wrong with anything on their menu, service was excellent.

This restaurant was recommended by my sister and nephew, who had chanced upon it while out for a walk. All i can say.. can't wait to go back. There were 6 of us, and we were led to a separate room, (like eating in our own dining room), which was simply wonderful. The waitress was delightful, and offered suggestions and... More
