The live music was better than the barbecue shrimp

I'm not sure why the dish was sweet and had too much acid. I speculated that perhaps the onions (I don't put them in mine) were pickled. The singer was great, though.

Nice place to stop in and have a few drinks and listen to live music. We had a great time! The drinks were good and the appetizers were outstanding. The menu looked good...maybe next time I will try the fish tacos??

Great place to stop in on the weekends - My husband was so excited to find out Mason Ruffner is now in New Orleans and plays here most Sundays.

We found this restaurant when we couldn't get into the Three Muses. It looked decent from the outside and they were able to seat us quick. The food was stellar. My wife had the vegetarian tacos with goat cheese, and I had the Oyster Plate with Jalapeño Mashed Potatoes. The kick was unexpected, and they substituted the potatoes for the... More

All I have to say is wow. We were given this recommendation and I didn't expect much. The food was great and the server was also amazing. You won't be disappointed in their food.

We were looking for a place that wasn't too busy on Frenchman Street (which is difficult to do on a Friday night) to have supper at and were pleasantly surprised by this place! The food was really good! Two of us had the crawfish pasta which was very tasty (and spicy! So beware if you're not into hot foods!) and... More

If this restaurant were in any other city it would be considered phenomenal. The food was good Cajun food and the music was good. However, it is in New Orleans where that is the standard. The service was a little off, and they were under a boil water advisory and were not very accommodating about it ($2.50 for a small... More

What a find! We really enjoyed this place! Our waitress was great! The craft cocktails were excellent! The food was fresh & delicious! There was nothing negative about this place at all. The live music was even really good - the best we heard on Frenchman street that night.

We walked from Canal/Royal all the way to the Marigny Brasserie, where we met 6 friends for dinner and live music. The band that night was OK, not great, so we moved to a quieter area in the back. It was a nice option. I ordered a salad, then promptly stole my friend's third fish taco. It was AMAZING. The... More
