Fun Spot with GREAT Drinks!

My husband and I had a late lunch at Marigny Brasserie on St. Paddy's Day. I had two lavender martinis with lunch, which made for a great start to the parade down Frenchmen Street later in the evening. I highly recommend this place for lunch or dinner. Great location and fun to "people-watch." The... read more

This is a great restaurant. My 6 buddies and I had our final meal there. It was a great place to end a great trip. Everyone enjoyed their meal. The waiter was very friendly and attentive. I had the crawfish fritters and a side of rosemary grits. Very tasty comfort food. I will add that the night before (a Saturday)... More

After walking up and down Frenchman Street, we decided to have dinner at this restaurant. From the outside it looks like a little café on the corner and is appealing from the street. The menu is posted on the outside and it looked like what we were looking for. Once inside, the restaurant was busy on a Saturday night, the... More

Marigny Brasserie was one of our go-to spots, right down the street from our second home in NOLA. We would go there several times each visit. On our April visit this year, we were shocked. The food and the music were both awful. They were out of most wines on the wine list. We were with friends, and were so... More

This is my favorite place on Frenchmen, because it's the easiest, most comfortable place to enjoy some excellent live music. While many of the other places fill up to the seams, somehow this place always feels welcoming and open. Their happy hour has $4 wines and Abita drafts, and they also have tasty snacks. But again, the main draw is... More

Frenchmen St is a nice change from the more touristy waterfront area. This place had really good food and great live music.

First visit to Frenchman Street. Nice corner restaurant with outdoor seating. We rolled in about 6:30 ish and it was just in time because the place filled up in a hurry! We posted up inside right infront of the 4 piece jazz/blues band that was excellent! I forgot the name. Place had the usual NOLA fare which was very good,... More

Great happy hour with music! Food was worth the price. Frenchmen Street Poker Boy was a nice sandwich. Service was friendly and efficient. I would definitely recommend stopping by.

On a Friday night, this place was hopping, but some good eyes found us a table right in front of the jazz band (an unheard of feat on Frenchmen...where for the rest of the evening we struggled to make it through the door and into the music venues). After a day of airport travel, the crawfish pasta and fried green... More

We came in around 3pm on a Friday. The place was maybe half full, but no one would even acknowledge us. We stood there for almost five minutes until finally the bartender smiled at us. I could tell he felt bad, but he was swamped with drinks, and there was no one to be found. I looked in the rear... More
