We made reservations at this restaurant after seeing positive reviews online and looking at their menu on their own website. It LOOKED delicious! We had early reservations and it was not busy when we got there. The decor inside is nice and the music they were playing was good. We ordered drinks and they were delicious. When looking at the... Judging from decor, atmosphere, price and great location, we were expecting a fantastic meal. Acceptable, but probably wouldn't go back. The restaurant wasn't busy the night we were there, and it took over an hour to get our food. On the positive side, we had a table by the window and enjoyed people watching.

Excellently located on Frenchmen Street within a block of the music clubs, this is an excellent place to start your night. The list of cocktails is impressive and tasty, and the friendly staff will make sure they are prepared however you want. The food is typical New Orleans, prepared bistro style. The result is delicious and satisfying. I enjoyed eating... More

We went this last Friday and loved it. With a group of 9, we walked to and found the restaurant without a reservation. Asked about availability and we were accommodated within 5 minutes. The service was impeccable for our large group with no warning. All drinks were wonderful amd quickly delivered. We ordered several appetizers that were brought quickly and... More

After we arrived at our dinner reservation time, it took 20 minutes for anyone to take our drinks order. Then, after another 30 minutes, I went to the bar and brought back our drinks. When we finally received menus, much of the food that had been described in prior reviews was not even there. They appeared to be lunch menus.... More

My husband and I love Frenchman's and make a point to visit it and not get sucked into the loud drunkenness of bourbon street. We were hungry and not sure where to eat and stumbled upon this lovely place and decided to try it out. So glad we did! This was by far the best meal of our stay in... More

I visited here early august with a group of 5 friends. We were seated at a lovely table just tucked out of the way but still in sight of the live music. I suffer from a gluten and a dairy allergy and my friend who reserved the table mentioned it at the time of booking. Upon sitting I made my... More

We'd heard about the great clubs and music on Frenchmen Street, just outside of the French Quarter. We got there mid-afternoon, too early for the bands to be playing, so we popped into The Marigny Brasserie for a drink. The bartender (Christopher, I think) was friendly and was very familiar with the area. He was able to give us information... More

On the corner of Royal and Frenchman Street in the trendy Marigny Triangle next to the French Quarter is a great spot you should visit. Stop by for a fresh blackberry Mojito or the Ford Green Tomatoes Poor Boy sandwich. New chef really knocks it out of the park.
