My husband and I love Frenchman's and make a point to visit it and not get sucked into the loud drunkenness of bourbon street. We were hungry and not sure where to eat and stumbled upon this lovely place and decided to try it out. So glad we did! This was by far the best meal of our stay in... More

I visited here early august with a group of 5 friends. We were seated at a lovely table just tucked out of the way but still in sight of the live music. I suffer from a gluten and a dairy allergy and my friend who reserved the table mentioned it at the time of booking. Upon sitting I made my... More

We'd heard about the great clubs and music on Frenchmen Street, just outside of the French Quarter. We got there mid-afternoon, too early for the bands to be playing, so we popped into The Marigny Brasserie for a drink. The bartender (Christopher, I think) was friendly and was very familiar with the area. He was able to give us information... More

On the corner of Royal and Frenchman Street in the trendy Marigny Triangle next to the French Quarter is a great spot you should visit. Stop by for a fresh blackberry Mojito or the Ford Green Tomatoes Poor Boy sandwich. New chef really knocks it out of the park.

We wandered in here because I had searched google for Marigny restaurants with calamari. They didn't serve it, but the bartender spent about ten minutes telling us where we might find calamari in the Marigny. We walked around a bit, found a few of the places recommended, and then ended up going back to this restaurant/bar for a late lunch.... More

My husband & I went to dinner & had the fish of the day (pompano) for $24. When we got it it was undercooked so we had to send it back. When they bought the fish back (about 10-12 minutes later) it was so incipid - no sea salt, olive oil, nothing. We asked the waitress for extra lemon, that... More

We stayed at a B&B in the area and were heading to the French Quarter. We decided to stop at this spot for lunch after reviewing their menu located outside. Our server was very friendly and knowledgeable. She also was helpful in her suggestions. We ordered the crawfish fritters as an appetizer. It comes with aioli which is clearly explained... More

We strolled in there after getting stuck in a rain storm. The staff was patient while we dried off then seated us quickly. I had a creamy roasted corn soup that was better than most. I really enjoyed the fried green tomatoes. I was a little disappointed that they were out of regular coffee and the special of the day... More

My family came to visit me in NOLA and this was our favorite dining experience of the 6-day eating tour. We loved the unique flavors, and our server was incredibly friendly and added to the experience. He told us that within the past 3 months there has been a complete re-haul of the restaurant's menu. I can't speak for what... More

This was some of the best food I have ever eaten. From the drinks to the appetizers to the desserts, and everything in between. The risotto was amazing.
