We visited the Marigny Brasserie recently and were told they had just changed hands. The staff seemed delighted at the prospect of better management so things may be improving here. The night we went they were out of most of their wine list - a result of the changeover we were told - but we stayed and had what was... More

Sadly, this place looked promising but wasn't really. It didn't start well when we were told they were out of basil lemonade for one of their specialty drinks, but we figured stuff happens. However when we ordered one of the maybe 4 or 5 entrees we also found out they were out of the fish of the day. That could... More

Food is decent but for whatever reason waiting for food on an empty day is odd. Literally only two couples in here and took 20 min for a coke and 45 for a hamburger. Which came out wrong and then had to wait again. Would I return? Sure, maybe just an off day. Friendly staff. Just need to put some... More

This was the filthiest restaurant I have ever had the displeasure of attempting to eat! It was disgusting!!! The booth was torn and filthy, the bathroom hasn't been cleaned in months, the drinks took forever to get to the table, my husband gagged on his crab cake and my Mac and Cheese was burnt...there more but why bother. They should... More

In spite of some negative reviews we found ourselves needing a restaurant in this part of town walking distance to our B & B for a group of 6, and decided to try it. They gave us a lovely round table, service was efficient and friendly and the food delicious. Everyone was delighted with their choices. Certainly would recommend and... More

Let me start by mentioning our server Patrick who did a very good job in spite of a slow kitchen. It was late afternoon and before any dinner rush so the place only had a few covers. Three out of four at our table thought the food was a little too salty (including myself) but fourth person did not share... More

Since 2012 I have eaten here three times. The fourth was last week (Dec '14). I was shocked at how far the restaurant has fallen. This place was a local anchor for me, a spot to get a great meal before enjoying the music clubs of Frenchmen's Street; I will have to find a different restaurant to serve this purpose.... More

The area is not that inviting but went for the food. The menu sounded great and pictures (their website) looked delicious. It was all a farce. The best thing we ate was the Boudin Balls. They were hot and fresh. Very delicious with just the right crunch. The bbq shrimp was just not edible. The shrimp was over cooked and... More

He and my husband got their food and about 10 mins later , my daughter and I got ours!! They cooked him another steak which was closer to rare, but they left the... More

Wife ordered burger medium. Got extra well done with no juice at all, burgers are dry, had to ask for catsup and Mayonaise just to try to eat it. Burger was not edible. Would avoid this place.
