In a town known for food a slightly out of the way cafe needs to stand out. This place is top notch. For sure make it to the brunch. Frenchman's street is what New Orleans is about and beginning your evening here is your best bet while in the Big Easy. I had the crab cakes and barbeque shrimp and... More

Stopped in on a Friday night for a drink and to listen to the band. Their live music was so fun with other local musicians jumping in for "cameos." I ordered the Mama's Moonshine, strawberry moonshine, mint, and ginger lemonade, it was one of the best drinks I've ever had.

This was a really terrific little neighborhood place with a friendly staff and pretty amazing food. I had the strawberry salad and the Crawfish Marigny and my husband had the buttermilk fried chicken. And we later split a piece of the divine red velvet cake. Highly recommended.

We just stumbled upon this place on our weekend trip to New Orleans and the evening we spent there became one of the highlights of our trip. All the staff were so nice and went out of their way to make our experience enjoyable. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was very laid back and cool, the neighborhood has a... More

I've been to the Marigny Brasserie on several different occasions and been content each time. On this occasion, I noticed the menu was different and there was a new chef. I was hoping that was a good thing, and it was. I had the mushroom risotto and my husband had the friend chicken and we were both very pleased with... More

We have eaten here several times over the years during ownership/management changes in hopes that someone will bring it back to what it originally was.....another team has missed the boat. Food is overpriced. Nothing healthy if you're on a diet....no food items for kids. Service was mediocre at best. The new live music is very loud and annoying for what... More

We had a wonderful lunch today with excellent service by a very pleasant and attentive waiter. My husband had the crawfish pasta and I the Abita Amber bbq shrimp with grits and greens. The waiter was especially kind to my 9 year old, who was struggling to eat her giant fried green tomato sandwich and managed to get crumbs everywhere... More

Most restaraunts in the city were booked because of large conventions so we decided to try this smaller restaurant out. The food was okay. Husband had swordfish which was not good at all, very bland. I had the crawfish pasta dish which was delicious and just the right amount of spice. Nothing for kids to eat here so we just... More

The food looked delicious and the music was great so we decided to have a seat at Marigny...baaad decision! After the first course my friend got he's main course...I, on the other hand, had to wait and wait and wait...Finally we asked the waitress - who was, by the way, the whole time polishing the cutlery even there were a... This is a great place to come and relax, enjoy a leisurely dinner and listen to great Jazz. A little high priced but the food was excellent and the drinks even better. The only negative was there was only one vegetarian offering besides a salad.
