Good eats

All I have to say is wow. We were given this recommendation and I didn't expect much. The food was great and the server was also amazing. You won't be disappointed in their food.

We were looking for a place that wasn't too busy on Frenchman Street (which is difficult to do on a Friday night) to have supper at and were pleasantly surprised by this place! The food was really good! Two of us had the crawfish pasta which was very tasty (and spicy! So beware if you're not into hot foods!) and... More

If this restaurant were in any other city it would be considered phenomenal. The food was good Cajun food and the music was good. However, it is in New Orleans where that is the standard. The service was a little off, and they were under a boil water advisory and were not very accommodating about it ($2.50 for a small... More

What a find! We really enjoyed this place! Our waitress was great! The craft cocktails were excellent! The food was fresh & delicious! There was nothing negative about this place at all. The live music was even really good - the best we heard on Frenchman street that night.

We walked from Canal/Royal all the way to the Marigny Brasserie, where we met 6 friends for dinner and live music. The band that night was OK, not great, so we moved to a quieter area in the back. It was a nice option. I ordered a salad, then promptly stole my friend's third fish taco. It was AMAZING. The... More

The drinks we had at the Marigny Brasserie (such as the lavender champagne cocktail) were flawless and the spinach artichoke dip was honestly the BEST my husband and I have ever had! (including my own!!) I will return!

Visited NOLA June 2015 and ended up in this area. We were drawn in by the wonderful music. It had been a warm day, and we were quickly served cold drinks. We placed our food order, our waitress was attentive, but not obtrusive. Food served hot and fresh, and was VERY VERY good. Would eat here again, FOR SURE!!!!!

I visited Marigny Brasserie twice during my stay in New Orleans. It struck me as being a relaxed, low-key sort of place where locals would hang out. The food was good and they have a full bar with some signature cocktails, which were refreshing on a hot day. There was a swing band performing and one of the band members... More

Our group of six decided on a return visit to Frenchmen St for dinner on a Wednesday night. Every restaurant was full and many had queues. We were almost desperate enough to return to Snug Harbour but then I saw the Marigny Brasserie - the last restaurant in the block. It was very quiet, no music, a few people at... More

Our group of 10 stopped in here for music, drinks and light food on a Sunday afternoon ... tried sandwiches, wings and several drinks. The guy behind the bar was very attentive and answered all of our questions about the menu. Would recommend stopping here if you are visiting Frenchman Street.
