This is a dining experience of a life time!! Fourteen separate dining rooms!!! We ate in the main one--two servers per table--all dressed in formal atire. The thing that surprised me most was actually how reasonable it was. Jimmy the Maitre d' was incredible--has worked their for 40 years. He took us on a personal tour of the place--unbelievable!!! Almost... More

I read and re read so many reviews in preparing for our November trip. Definitely Antoine's has its fans and detractors. We chose to go for lunch and that was such a great choice. Cheapie Martina's and a broad menu made for an excellent meal. It would have been a sin to skip this historic restaurant. Just wandering through the... More

People go to New Orleans for the three M's: music, meals and Mardi Gras. Antoine's is one of the best known of the meals. My wife and I and our 2 friends visited this 175 years old icon for lunch. It lives up to its reputation. Lunch is reasonably priced at $20.16 for a three course meal . I had... More

Often this restaurant has a summer special for $20.16 to coincide with the year. Try to have a special occasion on one of these days. Don't forget to order the baled Alaska ahead of time. It is to die for and you should consider it a must.

Antonie's personifies the New Orleans dining experience. The food is beyond amazing, the food is impeccable, and the service is second to none. We do our anniversary there every year. Check it out.

Fine dining and old school service are the best. Food quality is good. Not anything to rave about as there are better restaurants in town. Check out the Krewe rooms in the back.

We paid a lot of money for a name and a classic old restaurant. Full stop. Fair food with average service. From cocktails to out the door in 47 minutes. Turned the table as if we're Chili"s and the place was almost empty. Shame on me.

I am a foodie, I love good food - and was really looking fwd to Antoine's - but I do not wear a coat and tie, just worked too hard to wear what I want.... thus we chose to eat at the bar - but ordered off the full menu, was assured same menu, same food.... started off with some... More

Staying in French Quarter

Neighborhood Profile
French Quarter
A small and teeming network of laissez-faire living lounged out on the balmy banks of the Mighty Mississippi, the French Quarter has long been a port of call for folks in search of a good time and a great story. Perpetually inebriated Bourbon Street runs across its midriff like a strand of cheap ribbon tied around an otherwise rather pretty and impressively well-kept vintage dress. Throughout the rest of the Quarter, brightly colored Victorian homes and businesses, famously done up with wrought-iron features, provide a distinct and immediately recognizable backdrop for all varieties of fun. At any given moment in this historic riverside setting, some of America’s finest meals are being cooked, most potent cocktails are being mixed, and most engaging music is being performed.
