The decor makes this the nicest Thai place in New Orleans. Through some really good Thai food in the mix & you have a really good place to eat. Just do yourself a favor & stay away from the Pad Thai. I'm sure the Pad Thai is good but they have so many great dishes (red curry, green curry, drunken... More

My husband has traveled extensively with the military in the Middle East and Thai is one of our favorite cuisines and we've eaten it a lot! Due to this..we have higher expectations then the run of the mill Asian place..and Sukho Thai raised our expectations even higher!! Sukho Thai is true Thai goodness that left us dreaming of our next... More

Sometimes, you have just had all the Jambalaya and Gumbo that you can take - Sukho Thai had some great flavors and textures that were well prepared, gave a nice break and was serviced by very pleasant and helpful staff.

I ate here with my wife and daughter while in town for business. Long walk from Canal St, but knew that in advance....wonderful place, very casual, great service and the food was Yum, Yum, Yum. Had the seafood Pad Thai, everything was perfect...definitely a re-visit in the future!

This BYOB was a cute little spot with great service and HOT food, just like we like it. The wait staff were friendly and attentive. Our veg was fresh and the crab tastey!

As a New York food snob, accustomed to easy access to good Thai cooking, I was skeptical about Sukho Thai but impressed. The food was delicious -- my hot basic chicken was very tasty and perfectly cooked.

Arrived in NOLa looking for some Thai food. Saw this place rated highly on TripAdvisor so we mapped it and arrived. Food was okay but $8.00 for 2 spring rolls cut in half and $4.00 for a cup of soup was ridiculous. We drank water and the tab for 2 with tip was almost $49.00. And this was LUNCH !... More

In-laws (mid 80s) in town from Montreal. Finally blue skies, after days of gray and rain. Plan: A French Quarter ramble, with lunch, and Greg's Antiques. Wandered into Saints game traffic previewing Warehouse District Holiday light shows. Struggled out, nailed free parking at Esplanade and Royal. Walkabout into the Marigny (our stomping grounds, and 1978-80 hood). Sukho Thai. Familiar hole... More

My first visit was tasty but spicy. This visit was perfect. We did take out to our friend who had hurt herself. We had fried noodles with chicken, shrimp fried rice and yellow curry with beef. I wanted to go back the next night but unfortunately they had already closed for the night.

We used our groupon/living social coupons that were expired & had a feast. The sampler appetizer was so clean tasting & each item distinctly unique. We had the curry Mahi special & although surprised it was like a soup, we were not disappointed with the taste. Also had the chicken with noodles which was incredible. A word of caution: 2... More
