This place has an incredible breakfast!! 5 words - Bacon Praline Cinnamon Sticky Buns!! Fantastic combo of sweet and salty and all things good! Service was great, food was imaginative, I am not sure how they make grits so good, but they do! Everything was spot on, just enough with out being over the top and not one of those... More

We came to New Orleans for the first time in 2010 and were told not to compare them to New York or San Francisco because N.O. was the best foodie town in the United States. We left not disagreeing with that statement. Fast forward to December 2014, we arrived fully anticipated to relive our culinary experience. The first few days... More

What a find! A local told us to not leave without going there. It’s in a tiny house and easy to miss. Had it been dark, I don’t think we would have found it. I had the carnita egg burrito with tomatilla sauce. Another person had grilled shrimp and grits. Sounds disgusting, but good food is good food! Amazingly different... More

Like most tourists we stayed close to the Quarter on our first foray into New Orleans...I will say we took a friend's advice who does visit often and took the St Charles streetcar to riverbend and had a most fantastic meal. Greet warmly like we were friends, we were seated in a quiet corner, the have an outdoor patio with... More

We chose this place over other fine dining places in the city due to it's more causal atmosphere. So glad we did!! Service was great. Portions were larger than I expected, probably could have shared with my husband. Food was delicious. The kind of food made by people who really love food. We had the trois mignon and pork chops.... Get there early for Sunday Brunch! Grab a mimosa or screwdriver with freshly squeezed juice and get ready for some amazing foods. I highly recommend the Debris and Poached Eggs, the Pecan/Banana Pancakes and the Gator Sausage (if available)...amazing biscuits, great coffee.

The food was fabulous. Servings were the perfect size. Large enough to share but not to much to be eaten by one person. Wait staff was helpful and made great suggestions.

We loved just about everything at this place. Went with another couple for dinner and we were all quite impressed. Service was awesome, atmosphere great, unique/cool art throughout and the food - WOW! We had the boudin rouge, thit kho, trois mignons, redfish on the half-shell, chicken roasted under a brick and some desserts (forget names). All the dishes were... More

Although the food here was OK, I used to eat here years ago and remember it being much, much better. A friend and I came here for brunch while I was back in town and although my shrimp and grits were pretty good, her crab and brie omelet was absolutely swimming in cheese which overpowered any other flavours. We both... More

Went for a Sunday brunch with a group of friends. Total 6 of us. My comments: Atmosphere: very New Orleans Style, casual yet somehow elegant. Nice music playing at a volume that allows to hear it but also have a conversation without shouting. Service: very good, attentive and certainly focused on getting the job done. Polite Attitude Food: good quality,... More
