Since we were staying in Faubourg Marigny, it is quite a drive at rush hour to get to this restaurant in its out of the way location of Riverbend, but the food is worth the effort. Their signature pork dish melts in your mouth. The starters are also amazing, and the complimentary spoon bread is very nice. The side of... More

Eat here if you come to NOLA. Period. If you are staying downtown or in the French Quarter area then this is a bit of a cab ride to Uptown. It is worth it. The restaurant is charming and warm with an adorable bar in the middle with smaller rooms with a few tables in each room but I did... More

I was recently in New Orleans on business, and a friend recommended dinner at Dante's Kitchen. Quite possibly the best recommendation ever. The Uptown neighborhood location is well away from the hustle and bustle of the French Quarter, but is well worth the trip. We enjoyed trying several of the original cocktails--the mixologist obviously takes great pride in their work.... More

Last time I was in this restaurant was 4 years ago, since we had mom visiting she wanted to go on and try it. We went for Brunch and it was great, the food quality and flavor was as expected, very tasteful and the food portions are large enough to be satisfied. The one thing you need to keep in... More

Came for Sunday brunch to get away from the quarter and mardi gras parades. Old converted home with attitude. Many home made drinks. Try the blood red mimosa. Lots of delicious breakfast/brunch things. The BLT&E was great! Pork belly and and soft egg on brioche. Hash browns on the side. Excellent. Also had the crab and Brie omelette with shiitake... More

Wonderful established restaurant in the riverbend area of New Orleans. Both the appetizer and small plate portions are very generous. Our table tried the shrimp with grits, cheese board, mussels, escargot with marrow bones and the special charcuterie. All were successful. Although it was noted the grits could have used more of the tasty redeye gravy. The mussels were unusual in... More

I just finished up brunch at Dante's and it was absolutely delicious. The place really makes fantastic food. The homemade bread with butter and jam appetizer is wonderful. I had their breakfast burrito which was good, but my lady friend had their pimento cheese 'special' .. Basically served like Eggs Benedict. I can't even put into words how yummy it... More
