We got lucky with this place!

One of the best in town. A close second to Brigtsens, in my mind. Some put it first. In either case Dante's is one of the very best in town. Lots of fresh, local fare here, prepared with care and imagination. Chef Eman Loubier never fails to please. Dante's is small, so be prepared to wait a bit if you're... More

Every time we travel to New Orleans we try a different restaurant, so we attempted to try this one. When we arrived, we were told that we had to wait fifteen minutes and we were ok with this. However, we saw in dismay when a party (same number of people than us) came and was offered a table on the... More

I go to New Orleans every year. This was my first time at Dante's. Plan to return next week. Loved the Red Fish on the Half Shell with herb salad. The waiter was great; really helpful.

Dante's Kitchen is a great NOLA spot that embraces the farm to table concept with a hipster vibe. The space is a little funky but it works. The waitstaff is knowledgable and friendly. I love all the "experiments" brewing for future use along the wall of one room. The food was well prepared tasty and nicely presented

Dante's Kitchen is tucked away in an old neighborhood. We found it on Urbanspoon and were very pleased with our find. A few blocks off the beaten trail. 3 blocks from the streetcar line. Our waiter was not well-educated but he gave it his best. Food was outstanding.

This restaurant is a little off the beat and path, but its well worth the trip if you are staying outside downtown. The food is amazing, the service is personable and southern. The atmosphere is relaxed and inviting. If you go on Sunday which I did, go early they open at 10:30 for Brunch, everything is delicious. A must is... More

I had dinner here with a cousin whom I had not seen in years so it was a special occasion. We had a lovely time at Dante's Kitchen. The food was delicious and creative, the service was attentive but unobtrusive, the Sazerac cocktails were great. I highly recommend this restaurant.

My wife and I (and sometimes with others) eat here 2-3 times per year, always reaffirms that it is one of our favorite restaurants in the city. We are a little biased as we used to live in the immediate neighborhood and Dante's was within walking distance. Quick rundown of our most recent meal - Halloumi and Roasted Beet Salad... More
