We chose this place over other fine dining places in the city due to it's more causal atmosphere. So glad we did!! Service was great. Portions were larger than I expected, probably could have shared with my husband. Food was delicious. The kind of food made by people who really love food. We had the trois mignon and pork chops.... Get there early for Sunday Brunch! Grab a mimosa or screwdriver with freshly squeezed juice and get ready for some amazing foods. I highly recommend the Debris and Poached Eggs, the Pecan/Banana Pancakes and the Gator Sausage (if available)...amazing biscuits, great coffee.

The food was fabulous. Servings were the perfect size. Large enough to share but not to much to be eaten by one person. Wait staff was helpful and made great suggestions.

We loved just about everything at this place. Went with another couple for dinner and we were all quite impressed. Service was awesome, atmosphere great, unique/cool art throughout and the food - WOW! We had the boudin rouge, thit kho, trois mignons, redfish on the half-shell, chicken roasted under a brick and some desserts (forget names). All the dishes were... More

Although the food here was OK, I used to eat here years ago and remember it being much, much better. A friend and I came here for brunch while I was back in town and although my shrimp and grits were pretty good, her crab and brie omelet was absolutely swimming in cheese which overpowered any other flavours. We both... More

Went for a Sunday brunch with a group of friends. Total 6 of us. My comments: Atmosphere: very New Orleans Style, casual yet somehow elegant. Nice music playing at a volume that allows to hear it but also have a conversation without shouting. Service: very good, attentive and certainly focused on getting the job done. Polite Attitude Food: good quality,... More

Had a delicious meal at Dante's Kitchen for an anniversary meal recently. I had the seared gulf fish filet and my wife the trois mignons. All was cooked perfectly and despite having some ingredients I had never had before, we both had great meals trying new things. Certainly not cheap, a bit on the high end, but I didn't walk... More

Can't say enough about this place! Best brunch I've had in years! The Bloody Mary was delicious, but the brandy milk punch is a MUST TRY! We had the tenderloin & poached eggs & the pork loin eggs Benedict & we raved about them all day! We will be back! :)

Born in New Orleans and live in Baton Rouge. I can say that the absolute best shrimp and grits are found at Dante's Kitchen! Also try the eggs Benedict. Never disappointed.

Our sons took us their for Sunday brunch for my birthday. A party of 6, they don't take reservations, and yet we were seated right away! Great, quick service and what a meal!!! We all thoroughly enjoyed our orders. I had a eggs and hash with a horseradish cream...yum, we had peach blinis with fresh peach purée. We definitely will... More
