This is a great option for sushi in the Big Easy. I particularly like their crunchy rolls, as well as their gyoza.
This was highly recommended by our hosts and they weren't wrong. The sushi was the best I've had so far. Fast service but I'd go early if you don't want to wait on line. As the evening progressed the music got louder until conversation wasn't an option. You really should try this place!
I've been here at least 3 times and it's always good. I took my Goddaughter for her 16th birthday and she loved it. The service was a little slow and our waiter seemed a bit spacey, but the overall experience was good. The shrimp wantons were especially good!!
So, if you are looking for a place with loud booty music, teenagers in hooker clothes and good sushi....then this place is for you!! We had the Dynamite and the Dome roll and both were very good. But really, the music is past the point of too loud. I'm all about good atmosphere and the bar area or the eating... More
They lost our ticket! We waited 1.5 hours after ordering to get our sushi. I ordered their dome sweet dome roll and loved it. The hostess could've used some people skills, she was a bit full of herself. The music was LOUD! Forget a conversation. I'm guessing the music was loud so you couldn't complain about the long wait with... More
I often visit New Orleans on Business and ensure that I always come here. Its in the warehouse district and never any tourists around. The sushi is simple amazing, some of the best that I've tasted. The staff are always friendly and very welcoming. They get quite busy but there is usually space at the sushi bar. They also do... More
I noticed this place while walking back from the French Quarter and gave it a try tonight. The atmosphere and service were great and the sushi was very good. The staff had some great recommendations about what to try and the food came quickly, even though they were nearly full with everyone getting out of the conference a block away.... More
REALLY good food, super high-grade sushi in warehouse district. Sit at bar; ask for Sean. Salmon Zest Roll, Vilma (after Jonathan) Roll (specialty), hot green tea w/lemon (not too hot; very green). Helpful, caring staff. Clean place, good vibe w/loudish current hits music.
Was informed by a local to go here if I wanted sushi. They were correct. What a wonderful off the touristy trail for great sushi with new innovative creations mixed with the traditional menu. For example, came here on Cinco de mayo! They had a special roll that had crab, spicy tuna, and shrimp topped with avocado, cilantro, and sriracha... More
We were invited to eat here with some aquaintances. It is a frequent visit by them and I know why. A smaller restaurant, fairly lowlit, but inviting. It is a pretty hip place to be (they were playing 90s club hits which won over the crowd at our table). There is a bar on one side of the restaurant. We... More
