The hanger steak and the Ricotta cheese desert were better than we could have imagined. Definitely one of our favorite restaurants in a great restaurant city.

We made a reservation for 3 people last Saturday night, 8:30, on Open Table. We arrived early, 8:15, were told our table wasn't ready, and that it might be 10-15 minutes. It was a little strange, because there was a couple seated at a table for 4, with open twos. Well we waited and were told another 10-15 minutes, and... More

We found the food to be mediocre at best. The shrimp appetizer was very brine-ey and was not good. Our other two guests were not thrilled with the steak, chicken or duck. What was the fuss about? About 7 pm the noise level in the restaurant grew so loud we literally could not hear each other speak. We skipped dessert... More

Lilette is located in the gorgeous Garden district. This was our anniversary meal and we were not disappointed. Delicious food and fantastic wine. My husband had the steak and frites, I had the chicken. Both meals were amazing. The nutella dessert was the best thing I ate on the trip. Great spot!

We had eaten at Lilette the last time we were in NOLA, but had not planned on eating there this particular night. We were visiting our son, and had plans to go farther afield, perhaps to the Marigny or the Bywater, but tornado warnings scared us off from going too far. Lilette happens to be blocks from our son's house,... More

This is a wonderful little gem on Magazine street. Decor and ambiance are beautiful. The evening we went, I started with a lovely sazerac followed by dinner of kale salad and roasted chicken. All three were wonderful. Our waiter was very nice and attentive. It was just the perfect evening after a very long day. I am thrilled to have... More

This is a quaint, upscale restaurant in a nice neighborhood. The food quality is exceptional, and you do pay for it. The wait staff was attentive and accommodating. My complaint is that reservations are hard to come by, and we weren't seated until 45 minutes after our reservation time. This is a great date night restaurant, as long as you... More

The location on a corner in a relatively quiet New Orleans neighborhood is a perfect setup to this restaurant. Great menu and although the waiter was a bit haughty, he lightened up and made a solid connection with us. This is serious dining and it was well worth the cable car ride out from the French Quarter. Not cheap, but... More

The spotlight was on the Food, which was delicious! I recommend with starting with the sizzling shrimp appetizer with a lemon-oregano vinaigrette. As entrées, we had the chicken breast with balsamic glazed onions and mushroom vinaigrette, which was bright and lively and the wonderful hawaiian fish special -- escolar with a sparkling roasted onion and grapefruit salad. Do not miss... More

If you are a fan of traditional French cooking, you will love Lilette. If you are looking for something different, this is not the place for you. We did enjoy our meal, and the servers were very nice and attentive. We had the braised beef and the duck, and found the dishes to be very similar to what we have... More
