Great staff and great music!

Bartender very attentive, great little place located just off Canal St. Lots of activity, lots of tv with sports and interactive trivia if you are into that. Good bar music and great drinks! Great atmosphere here and was reasonably priced, as well! They have tshirts, too!

I walked into Jimani when I was staying the in the FQ, the sign on the outside said Buzztime Trivia and my wife said she saw it on Ghost Hunters. Overall, I was pleasantly surprised. There are a lot of TVs and they have NFL package, UFC fights and online trivia. The bar itself seems to be a mix of... More

This little bar/restaurant is not very pretty and is typically full of very loud music and people. In an effort to grab a quick bite for dinner (during Mardi Gras) we grabbed a bar stool and ordered our usual... burger and chicken ceasar wrap... OMG! I have never eaten anything better! This was by far the best wrap I've ever... More

Been to the Jimani at least 20+ times in the past 20 years and it still is a great after hours place. The folks, the atmosphere, and the food make it a late night stop....... Also had luch there a couple of times, but its late night when this place goes to life..

We went here on the recommendation of the concierge at our hotel. We went to watch the football game and have some food. Great little dive bar in NOLA. Great customer service and the food was awesome. I had the best grilled cheese ever on a cold windy day. If you want to experience an authentic place while in NOLA,... More

My husband and I ate here on NYE. We enjoy dive bars, so we felt it this place had that feel and we lucked out that there was a table right when we walked in! It is a great low-key bar where you can sit and talk to others around you or just hang out with your group. We sat... More

My friend I were starving, and stopped at this place because she liked that it looked like a dive bar. I like places that look like dive bars, but not actual dive bars. This was the latter. You could tell all the food had been frozen 10 minutes before you ordered it. It was 1pm on a weekday, but the... More

The kitchen is small but the food they produce is very tasty. The bar tender not the friendliest, but go the job done. It is definitely very rustic decor. I would reccommend for any visitors. If u sit at the table vs. The bar, u still have to order with bar tender. They will not come to u.

Not that Bourbon St. is expensive, but Jimani is an excellent "pre-game" bar before you hit the main party. The bar is small, the drink specials are legit ($10 buckets when we were there), the bartenders were friendly and welcoming. They have TouchTunes as well, plus a couple outlets along the wall to plug your phone an (as it's likely... More

From the advertising outside it looks like a restaurant. It isn't. It is a small sports bar. Small and somewhat cramped. However we did eat and the food and service was very good.
