Great little joint

My wife and I are Buzztime trivia fans so we sought this place out when we found that it offered this trivia game. Jimami was a cool and unpretentious, but fun bar. It has a mixed group of folks - friendly locals and tourists. Good Service too. Enjoy this place when in the French Quarter.

We had been out sightseeing all day long and need to grab a quick bite and a beer. Pulled into this local joint and had a great Po boy sandwich and beer. The steak was freshly cooked and all of the ingredients looks great. French fries were just perfect. Staff was friendly and the beer was cold.

cold beer, quick service, bartender loves to do shots with you. Stinks like all the other bars and streets in the quarter but full of locals. 1 block off of Canal into the quarter. Tourist generally go further down the street.

Crowded with locals, which is good but they were all quite drunk and loud, music was loud and raunchy. Food was just ok. Service, non existent. Clean the place up too. Dirty. Bartenders need to take control of rowdy drunk customers. Well, I guess that's par for the course that close to bourbon street, but Hey, it was Sunday night.... More

Doesn't look like much inside or out but the burgers and sandwiches were freshly made and good sized. Good place to pop in because you won't have a long wait and the prices are good.

Went here to get a quick bite for lunch. We had pizza and burger. Burger was okay . The pizza was the quality of a frozen store pizza. The server/ bartender was nice and the service was good. Didn't realized they allow smoking in there till after we had already ordered our food. Place could use a good cleaning.

Bartender very attentive, great little place located just off Canal St. Lots of activity, lots of tv with sports and interactive trivia if you are into that. Good bar music and great drinks! Great atmosphere here and was reasonably priced, as well! They have tshirts, too!

I walked into Jimani when I was staying the in the FQ, the sign on the outside said Buzztime Trivia and my wife said she saw it on Ghost Hunters. Overall, I was pleasantly surprised. There are a lot of TVs and they have NFL package, UFC fights and online trivia. The bar itself seems to be a mix of... More

This little bar/restaurant is not very pretty and is typically full of very loud music and people. In an effort to grab a quick bite for dinner (during Mardi Gras) we grabbed a bar stool and ordered our usual... burger and chicken ceasar wrap... OMG! I have never eaten anything better! This was by far the best wrap I've ever... More

Been to the Jimani at least 20+ times in the past 20 years and it still is a great after hours place. The folks, the atmosphere, and the food make it a late night stop....... Also had luch there a couple of times, but its late night when this place goes to life..
