No visit would be complete without having breakfast at Brennan's and a late-night dessert. Be sure to try the Banana's Foster and the Bread Pudding with Brandy Sauce! Buy their cookbook while you're there and you'll have both recipes to take home with you. I make the bread pudding every year at Christmas!

We loved the food. My daughter is really picky about Eggs Bennedict and she says these were the best ever. Also loved the Milk Punch. They flamed everything right at the table. Great presentation

Closed June, 2013 due to family feuding. I didn't know and walked there from my hotel in June, 2014 to enjoy my usual Eggs Benedict and a Bloody Mary at Brennan's. It's closed. Gone. The sidewalk was barricaded with cyclone fencing surrounding construction equipment. But there's no signs about what's to come. Bummer

The Sunday brunch is a New Orleans tradition, and is worth the experience. Other than that, the food is average at best (for fine dining), and way too pricey. The service is spotty. The ambience is nice, but not exceptional. Yet another place in New Orleans resting on their laurels.

I had brunch which lasted over four hours. Sitting on the back terrace with all the trees and fresh flowers giving me a sense of peace. The food came out in stages, with coffee poured from an arms distance, reaching my cup with no splashes. Eggs Benedict was what was expected from a fine restaurant. Fruit, bread to die for,... More

Embarrassed for reviewers who claim to have visited Brennan's recently. Brennan's closed a year ago. There are a number of restaurants run by various members of the Brennan family in New Orleans all with different names. Possibly reviewers visited one of them and somehow got the name wrong.

Ain't Dere No More, as the locals say. Family squabbles killed it, the restaurant will reopen but probably not with the name Brennan's.

Our dinner party was 10 people, everyone enjoyed the food very much, I ordered the Shrimp Creole, it was superb, fresh, plump shrimp. Our whole party ordered the Banana's Foster for desert and we still talk about that! The staff was friendly and quick. Cannot wait to return.

Go and have the chicory coffee and beignets. You're in Louisiana and you have to do it. It will be crowded but worth the wait.
