From first glance we were impressed by the menu and gorgeous exterior. After a quick greeting, we were informed that there were no available tables but we were more than welcome to sit at the bar. We were starving and really didn't mind, however the bar only had 2 spots left. Not wanting to separate our family, we tried flagging... More

Many times over the years, we've had brunch at Brennan's. Their Eggs Hussard recipe have often found their way onto my Father's day plate! Brennan's was my first..Bananas Foster. The food was well prepared, but served slowly-so slowly it was no longer warm. They are still working their way back. It was still fun.

I went to the old Brennan's, long ago, but returned to the updated-and-renovated spot for a Sunday morning brunch. The menu, while retaining the classic Brennan's dishes, has some new, creative items as well. Our Bloody Mary's were phenomenal, the veal cheeks and grillades were perfectly cooked, and the wonderfully-soupy bread pudding was superb. Only a little bit of live... More

These reviews are hugely confusing. The new Brennan's on Royal Street, the one in the picture, just reopened to general praise. Yet most of the reviews go back to before the reopening. My meal at the new Brennan's was excellent, a far cry from the tourist trap it had become before it closed under previous management. My only concern is... More

My beautiful wife and I had breakfast at the newly re-opened and freshly re-modeled Brennan's. this was by far the best breakfast, best service, best ambiance, and best eating experience I've had in a very long time. My bride and I love to visit New Orleans, not for the party scene, but for the many fine restaurants. This trip was... More

In the good old days, this was special...not just the feel, but the food was first class. In this incarnation, it's highly attractive, with wait staff eager to please, although still disorganized. But the food's not what it should be, and one feels let down (and over charged). The basics often tell the story: Probably the worst coffee in New... More

I would work here for several weekends for free just to learn how they poach their eggs & how they prepare the banana's foster. The eggs Benedict is the best, the very best breakfast I have ever had period! their other dishes are equally as good. It is an event to eat here, make reservations ahead or you probably won't...
