Good service, good food

Hit this on our first day before becoming oriented. Service was quick and friendly. Our meals were excellent. Highly recommend Dickie Brennans near Jackson Square.

We were excited to visit the renewed Brennan's and we weren't disappointed. The oyster appetizer is not to be missed. The oyster appetizers were sweet and crispy. I had the evening's special of house made pasta and lobster... another wonderful treat. I have to include the friendliness and helpfulness of Brennan's staff -- we had a special circumstance and the... More

We ate at Brennan's on our last night in New Orleans. We were not disappointed. The atmosphere was great, and the staff was friendly and knowledgeable. My husband had the drum and I had the pompano. Both were outstanding! Bread pudding for dessert is a must. We will be back!

My friend and I had breakfast there and really enjoyed what we ordered. However, we didn't get exactly what we ordered. My friend ordered scrambled eggs with her breakfast instead of poached and they came sunny side up. She sent them back and they came back the next time, over easy. Needless to say, I was waiting for her order... More

My family of five (kids 11, 10 & 8) had breakfast on a Tuesday morning. Our reservation was at 8:30am, and we were seated at a comfortable round table in the main downstairs dining room. The entire restaurant has been remodeled, and looks beautiful. Our service was exceptional - we had three different people attending to us, and we never... More

From the host and hostess, to the food service, to the sommelier, to the food, to the desert, this restaurant stands above and beyond. I took muly business associates to Brennans twice during our New Orleans trip recently, once for dinner, and the next morning for breakfast. When my wife came to join me for a couple of days at... Our breakfast was excellent, the atmosphere comfortable and service was perfect. The vanilla French toast -delicious. The egg dishes again delicious. We had a excellent breakfast with Giovanni insuring everything was just right. Recommend you try Breakfast #1 and # 3 as well as the vanilla French toast. We visited Brennan's on our last full day in New Orleans and... More

I couldn't be happier to have eaten here at the home of my favorite desert, (Bananas Foster). Everything was delicious and service was friendly and not rushed. It was a wonderful night. Bill for dinner, dessert, 2 drinks, tax and tip two people came to $180 and it was well worth it.

I must say I was very skeptical about going back to this restaurant as I was there the week it closed suddenly several years ago. There are new owners and they have done an extensive renovation and menu overhaul. My meal was exceptional and the service superior. I had the Eggs Sardou and the Creps Fitzgerald. I highly recommend eating... More

We had wonderful lunch at Brennan's, which had been recommended to us by friends. The service was outstanding. The food was terrific, especially the gumbo and praline bread pudding. We enjoyed watching the turtles in the courtyard.
