Thrilled to be back at Lebanon's

A week in New Orleans and I had the good fortune to eat at Lebanon's three times! I love their lamb, their appetizers (especially the eggplant one), the tabouli and their hummus which is the best I have ever had anywhere. So good, I pay to have my bag checked at the airport so I can bring their... read more

Visited new orleans for a week. Took the trolley and this is where we ended up. I had the hummus, gryo wrap as well as my husband. Our son got the lamb. Byob as we did not know that. We choose to eat inside all though you can eat outside.

We went for dinner with a couple of friends and the food was hit and miss. The starters were pretty good, stuffed vine leaves and a stuffed cabbage dish of some sort, i didn't order so not sure exactly what it was, but they were good. I had the tuna, it was good. The rice was plentiful, but plain The... More

Stopped by this restaurant while visiting New Orleans. It has some of the best Arabic food I've ever eaten, and I eat Arabic food often. Don't miss out on the chicken shwarma! Decently priced. You can eat inside or outside, but I'll warn that it can be very loud inside.

This restaurant offers traditional middle eastern dishes mixes with greek. It appeals to most tastebuds. Our party of six seemed to enjoy what they ordered. he salads were fabulous and loaded with feta and a variety of fresh cut veggies. My gyro was flat however and the meat was sliced flank steak rather than the tasty and thinlu sliced load... More

we have been to this restaurant many times as they consistently offer good Middle Eastern food at decent prices. The service can be vary from really good to really bad, but overall the restaurant offers good food at a decent price in a nice casual atmosphere

Great place to grab a bite. Moderate prices, VERY generous servings, I always end up leaving with a plate of leftovers. So many things to try. Don't leave without trying their tea!

Staying in Uptown / Carrollton

Neighborhood Profile
Uptown / Carrollton
Very much their own self sufficient unit within the greater metro area, Uptown and Carrollton tone down the urban edge with a friendly attitude and collegiate feel. Home to Tulane and Loyola Universities, all the students living in the area ensure that Uptown and Carrollton stay youthful, cosmopolitan and vibrantly fun. Two of the liveliest thoroughfares for nightlife and socializing (and yes of course more of the city’s outstandingly good food and live music) are Oak Street and Maple Street. For a truly wild time, the expansive acreage of Audubon Park, with its zoo, golf course, and actual patches of swampy wetlands, means peace and quiet are never too far away.
