Nice Brunch

We went to Arnaud's for the Jazz Brunch. Food was excellent, service was good and the Jazz music was very enjoyable. Very lively restaurant. The menu had a lot of items to choose from and everything we choose was very good.

We had high expectations, and they were in no way met. Our table was ready and we were immediately sat at a lovely table. The atmosphere was great. Lots of happy people. Everything began well and our team was on top of the service. As the afternoon moved into the evening things digressed. We all agreed dinner was so-so. Except... More

Nothing short of amazing. The moment we walked in the excellent service began. The wait staff was attentive without hovering or making us feel rushed. The food was excellent. I had the Arnaud salad and crab cakes. My husband had the alligator sausage, quail and mushrooms. We shared bananas foster for desert. It was just enough food but not too... More

We dined at several of the classic old restaurants this trip and Arnaud's was the only one that paid attention to our special events that we noted with the reservation. They also have an excellent museum upstairs that is a nice finish to a wonderful meal. Our server Sarah was one of the best we had an any restaurant in... More

Charming restaurant. I only wish we saved room for the bananas foster. Food and service are outstanding. Real New Orleans style food. They honored our reservation on time. Wish I was able to get into the Jazz room but it was booked. However there is nothing wrong with the main dining area. I had the pontchartrain with crab meat on... More

My husband and I really enjoyed our dinner and his birthday meal at Arnaud's. We sat in the main dining room and enjoyed the atmosphere. The baked oysters were delicious, as well as our entrees, the fish pontchartrain and the pompano duarte. The souffle potatoes were excellent too!

I had a Gala Dinner on this restaurant. The pictures of very famous celebrities and Presidents introduce you to this palace-wide restaurant. We were at 2nd floor in a reserved saloon. Food was good, although a bit expected: gumbo, shrimps etc.. The band was really boring, an old style trio playing standards without a bit of enthusiasm. I'd like to... More

What an amazing place! We were part of a private function which was held upstairs in one of the rooms. The food was extremely good, the service first class. Where else would they have a staff member come around the tables to ensure the steak was cooked the way you ordered!. Someone at our table had his steak removed as... More

We went to the Jazz brunch on a Sunday. It was an intimate, formal setting that had a great old New Orleans feel. The four course meal was classically prepared. I enjoyed having a fancy meal that was executed in a traditional form without new flares or techniques. Sometimes, just making a perfect Eggs Benedict is far more impressive than... More

Dined on a Sunday night. Service started out slow but then got to expected caliber. Perfectly made cocktails! Oysters Kathryn were devine. Seafood gumbo really tasty. Special potatoes were "ok". Crab cakes entree was fantastic. The best bread ever. Bananas Foster a must. Very traditional New Orleans feel. Expensive but worth it. Recommend!
