White tablecloth service. Food is exceptional and presented in good style. There is nothing like traditional New Orleans food and this is one place where you are assured to have it. The entrees are around $25-30 each. Appetizers are about $15.00. With these prices, plan to spend over %100 for two.

Classy place with top notch waitstaff and great food. Enjoyed the sweetbreads and a drumm dish. Friends had a very good crab salad and risotto. The lemon pie was great finish. A friend had a caramel butterscotch custard type dish and said it was the best dessert she has had in her life.

I have been to Clancy's several times, the latest two nights ago. It has always been a highly satisfactory venue for dinner, despite its dodgy location. It came to my attention a few years ago when I heard it called the "Galatoire's of Uptown." I don't take things like that too seriously, but lo and behold, we were greeted by... More

My mother and I had a fantastic dinner at Clancy's, even though I failed to make reservations and we sat at the bar. The food was fantastic, wine was tasty, service was decent. Loved the atmosphere!

One of my favorite meals. Service, food, atmosphere all comes together at Clancys. Uptown away from the tourist throngs of The Quarter. Laid back but perfectly run restaurant. Food was outstanding. Pompano, tuna, duck- all delicicious. Would definitely return. Thank you for an excellent experience.

This was, by far, the best place we ate at in our visit to New Orleans. The food...o gawd...exquisite. And I am a food snob from San Francisco. But this place was wonderful. The crab salad. The choices on the menu for vegetarians and flat out heavy into meat eaters. The wine list...sparse....unless you bought a very expensive bottle. But... More

During this year, we've eaten at Domenica, Sylvain, Marti's, Peche, Cochon, SoBou, etc. But Clancy's has been the best of the lot so far. First of all, it's a 25 or 30 minute cab ride from the French Quarter - it's a ways away! The facility is great - cozy and energetic. The service was fantastic, from the front of... More

This is a spot not to be missed. They are many great dinning spots but this is one not to miss. Love the oysters with Brie. Service, wine and food outstanding! Enjoy!!!!

Uptown restaurant, not walking distance from French Quarter, but worth the cab ride. Locals prevail in a very fun and festive atmosphere. OUTSTANDING service and food. Fried eggplant, Turtle Soup, Chicken TS???can't spell, Veal Annuncion, powerful cocktails, and lemon ice box pie. Make reservations early in downstairs and main dining room. A very popular and busy place. Secure your cab... More

We've been to Clancy's twice. We're thinking its a restaurant that needs to be appreciated with multiple visits. The food is not especially cutting edge or splashy - more traditional fare with modern touches. The rooms have a days-gone-by-feel, probably since by the web site the place has been around in one form or another since the 40's. That said,... More
