Excellent Food and Service

Great atmosphere with plenty of choices and all excellent. Waiter recommended an excellent wine. Food was a mix of regional (etouffe, bread pudding) and chef creations. A little pricey but definitely worth it.

Nice menu selection, very good appetizers (sweetbreads and the shrimp) and varied selection of entrees. Extensive wine selection for paring with whatever you choose. Service was good but a little on the slow side. Better suited for those who choose leisurely dining experience. We tried several higher end restaurants in New Orleans in May 2015 and this was my favorite.

When I visit New Orleans, Clancy's is usually a must stop for me. Living in NJ I really miss the neighborhoods and and CREOLE COOKING that abounds. I had the Oyster Rockefeller Soup for a starter, then Veal & Sweetbreads. I have to go along way to find those items in NJ/PA. It was originally a joint in a little... More

I had been to Clancy's before and had good experiences. However, tonight was a waste of $300. My wife and I were celebrating our son's college graduation. The entire dinner lasted only 1 hour. There was a table of 8 who were four tables away from us and we could not hear ourselves speak at the table. The waiter could... More

If you live in a big city, don't bother. This is nothing special. Food good but staff stretched, very, very noisy on ground floor and frankly, rather exhausting.

When the cabbie turned onto Annunciatio, I thought he was taking us for a ride. interesting neighborhood for a terrific spot. We sat upstairs in the wine room, and the service was attentive and impeccable. I had the duck and andouille gumbo which was delicius, my wife the rabbit sausage encrote - superb. For the main, I had the veal... More

This is a superb, quiet & classic New Orleans great food restaurant in West Riverside (quite near the Zoo and South of Tulane). The food is expertly prepared, sources locally and not creamy or buttery but rather grilled and sauteed. Service is most attentive and the seafood is outstanding. This is worth the 15 min taxi/Uber trip from Downtown/French Quarter... More

Come here almost every year for the past 39 years, our anniversary. The soft shell crabs are to die for, smoked and then fried to perfection. My wife has tried almost everything they offer. This year she went for the Lobster Risotto. It was great too.

In a quiet uptown neighborhood is the best Creole restaurant in the city. Reservations are an absolute must - country club casual dress at the minimum but not a coat and tie place. Inventive appetizers - crawfish and mirliton fritters were superb. Had the Muddy Waters drum as an entree and it was excellent. Bread pudding for dessert - best... More

Great food. Listen your wait staff for suggestions and you will not be disappointed. Had an item never come but we had plenty of food and I think it was lack of communication. A beautiful birthday dessert was presented to my mom and made her day.
