This place is a little out of the way but we wanted to go to a place where the locals eat. The service was friendly. We were surprised by the condition of the dining room, Looks like they have some wáter damage to repair. The table they sat us at was round and super wobbly, they seated us at another... More

Who would pair scallops with foie gras? The chefs at Clansy's. The combination really worked. The butternut squash was the best ever. Fried oysters with Brie Who knew? The server surprised us with the lamb chop and it was Delish. We had bread pudding with every meal on a 4 day eating jaunt in New Orleans and Clancy's was far... More

We enjoyed our dinner at Clancys. The restaurant is popular and reservations are a good idea. They are accepted up to 30 days prior to the date you request. We were seated on the second floor in a room that stored multiple bottles of wine. The second floor would seem preferable as it was more quiet and intimate than the... More

Dinner at Clancy's is well worth the taxi drive or car rental. The food was classic but imaginative. Service was attentive without being pretentious. The sweetbreads were well prepared. A fabulous culinary event.

One of our favorite places for a special meal. Smoked soft shell crabs were fantastic. Best in the city. Great service and seating. Can't wait to return,

Clancy's has all the right things. Atmosphere, service and great food. Hard to beat, even in New Orleans.

This restaurant is small, but very pleasant and the food is delightful. Mover's and shakers of New Orleans hang out here. I've heard it's very noisy in the evening, but lunch was mellow, the fresh drum fish perfectly cooked, with a plate full of sides included. Tomato shrimp bisque was very good.

We gave this established restaurant in New Orleans a try for lunch and were quite surprised at our find. It appeared that the patrons were mostly locals as this place is located in a neighborhood. We had wonderful traditional turtle soup and gumbo for starters ($7.50 each) and the salad special ($16.95) and crab salad ($18.75) I thought the prices... More

This place was okay not really that amazing. They have packed this place with too many tables inside and feels like you are on top of each other. The quality of the good was good, but nothing really amazing that you would rave about. Also the parking is horrible in his area. I would suggest taking a cab.
