I rarely blog about restaurants. But, unlike most, when I do it is to rave about a dining experience, not to complain. When you go to a restaurant the caliber of Cuvee you should not be heard to whine about price or the absence of buffet size portions. You want that, go to a place with a flashing neon sign... more

The food was wonderful, although they ran out of the very delicious pork chops. When we ordered alternate meals we were surprised when the staff brought out a sample of all the desserts. more

My wife and I had dinner at cuvee on a recent trip to New Orleans. What a meal! One of the best we have had in a long time and by far the best meal on our trip. The staff was very knowledagble and warm. The server suggested some of her favorites which were right on point. The Shrimp appetizer... more

The food was good but tiny tiny portions led us to another restaraunt minutes after leaving. The bill was one ninety and I still don't know what the hell we ate that was as good as paying over fifety dollars for. The service was great but uncomforateable... The whole time we felt like there was this funk in air the... more

25th Wedding Anniversary trip to Nawlins. Ate at 3 upscale restaraunts, but Cuvee was recommended by a chef friend as the place to go on "the night". Cuvee helped make our special night into an over the top experience. The restaraunt is beautiful and has a soft romantic atmosphere. The staff treated us as if it was a special night... more

Great Room very Romantic location with beautiful Champagne bottle Chandliers hanging form the ceitling. Service was attententive yet the server was short in repeating a dish he explained or to suggest the tasting menu. Female server had her nail polish all chipped servering dishes. Wine menu was good but the last pages are empty nylon pages that look tacky Food:... more

Cuvee is the best restaurant I've ever been to. I live in New Orleans, so I've gotten to go several times. Their cuisine is innovative and amazing. The ambiance and service is beautiful. I am vegetarian, and they made the most amazing meals I've ever had (no pasta primavera or gnocci with vegetables). The rest of the people with me... more

The food was very good. Nice location - centrally located in the CDB and pleasing atmosphere. They brought out the fois gras at the same time as our salads and soups. That's never happened to me before - trying to combine two separate and distinct courses into a single one. We sent back the fois gras and enjoyed our soups... more

An amazing meal in a city full of great food! I can still taste the Orzo and Brie! From the Tortoise and the Hare appetizer to the Mustard Crusted Salmon... I still dream about my meal. Our server was knowledgeable about the menu and offered suggestions when asked. He knew exactly when to come over and speak to us and... more

I've lived in New Orleans for years, have eaten at Cuvee many times, and they never disappoint. Being a vegetarian in nola can be tough, but Cuvee is the only restaurant in the city where I don't feel like a second class citizen asking for something off menu. And they also don't serve the standard veggie pasta or whatever vegetarian... more
