The food here is amazing. A colleague and I tried a wide variety of food, finding nothing but winners! We were seated in the window near the bar. It was a bit noisy and crowded, but the wait staff was attentive and guided us through the menu with great suggestions. Can't wait to return!

Delicious!! Those fried frog legs are seriously one of the best things I have ever had! The desserts are also great! #Yum

On a cold, rainy, weekday night recently, we were seated in the bar without having a reservation. Even at 6pm, the place was practically full. Our window table, for two, looked out onto St. Charles. This is a very cozy new restaurant that makes very good food. Both my wife and I had delicious appetizers and entrees. The wait staff... More

You are off to a great start when the hostess greets you! We started with an excellent Cabernet at the bar. When our reservation time came, we were seated immediately. Short ribs, ribeye, sorbet--whatever you want, it is all good.

But maybe our expectations were simply too high. It was good, quite good... But it didn't feel amazing, and given the $200 plus we spent for a table of 2 it felt underwhelming.

We had supper here on New Year's day. We had a reservation and our table was ready moments after we arrived. The menu is not overly extensive, yet everything sounded wonderful. We enjoyed a great swordfish dinner with relaxed service, never rushed.

Same trip, same gift card, different style restaurant, SAME OUTSTANDING EXPERIENCE. Certainly not overrated in my book. Closer to town than the butcher and yes a trolley runs by outside so easier to get there. Has outside dining under an awning so it doesn't seem quite so hot. We were there in June. However, we ate inside by the window... More

I find the dishes done here to be both creative and extremely well done. This has been my go to restaurant when in New Orleans on business, a great place to bring a customer or acquaintance. They also handle solo diners very well. Since they try to stay seasonal and locally sourced, the menu changes continually. On my last visit... More
