Great little neighborhood spot in uptown New Orleans.

We were referred to this restaurant by the concierge in our hotel and went for lunch on our first day in New Orleans. This restaurant did not disappoint! I ordered Braised Kurobuta Pork Belly with Mushrooms and Potato Puree which was an explosion of flavors, completely delicious!

I lived in the neighborhood for 4 months and must have eaten here a dozen times in large groups and at the bar alone. The food is delicious and the staff are knowledgable and friendly. The rib eye is probably the best I have tasted and the daily fish special especially the flounder on creamy polenta are exceptional. The deserts... More

From out of town, I was looking for a lunch spot whilst walking from one appointment to another and browsed a few menus along the way. After checking this one out I went back a block as it had caught my attention. I am so glad I did. I had a great lunch and was well taken care of by... More

Very expensive, food OK but nothing special, terrible service by pretentious peoples. The employees all look like they hate working there.

Herbsaint is another NOLA place I've grown to like the more times I go. I recall a few years back a krewe was having a parade in front of the place; we were seated just in time to watch the bulk of it go by. This time we were in prior to xmass time and some lights were turning on... More

Sommelier made excellent suggestions, which we took. Food was excellent, as always. Issue with entree service - 2 of 8 diners at our table were services their entree, then a table of 12 was served ALL of their meals, then 2 more of ours 5 minutes later, then 2 more 5 more minutes later then the final 2 meals after... I really enjoyed the lunch, The service and the food were great. The restaurant was crowded hence the noise level was high but the place is full of day light. I will be back if I am in the neighbourhood.

Three of us ate here at Herbsaint mostly as it was close to the InterContinental. It was a bit noisy but we were seated right away without reservations. Our server was prompt with our drinks and we each had an AP. They were all very good. Our mains were a bit long to get out but not a huge problem.... More

This was definitely the best meal we had in New Orleans during our trip. We didn't have reservations, so we got to the restaurant about 9:45pm and were seated by 10:00 (this was Friday night during JazzFest - I'm not sure if it's normally that hard to get a table). The food was excellent and inventive. The staff was really... More
