A definite must dine in NOLA. Small, quaint place with good solid staple items as well as some specials. One of the best gumbos according to my husband who was born in NOLA so he's an authority on gumbo! Nice wine list and fun bar scene with nice special handmade cocktails and craft beers too. I had the rib-eye and... More

Herbsaint was the highlight of the four meals on our recent New Orleans food trip. The wow items were: a fabulous lamb tonnato appetizer special that I had, my wife's porkbelly, and the wonderful banana brown butter tart that we shared. We had a nice rose by the glass. Service was attentive and professional. I was a bit bothered by... More

One of my favorite resturaunts in New Orleans. Great service and great food. It can get a little loud at times. Don't be afraid to step out if the box. For me, it was the fried Brussel sprouts. Not usually a big fan but these were awesome. Great steaks and seafood. Great wine list also. Enjoy

We had a lovely dinner at Herbsaint. Our server was wonderful and the meals we ordered were delicious. My personal favorite was the clam appetizer. Great wine list, too.

Decided to opt for all sharing dishes and tried a little more than half of the small plates, most of which were delicious. The service at Herbsaint was one of the best I have seen in a long time, makes for a really great dining experience which I would call the casual end of fine dining. The value was very... More

I have to keep this review short because I'm out of time but as a foodie whose eaten at some of the best places in the country....I was really impressed with the way the food was prepared and presented. The wait staff was really professional and attentive. Great drinks (must try a Sazarec), great appetizers, and strong entrees. I really... More

I've had a few meals here and it's always been very good. It's not as upscale as other restaurants in the city, but I don't feel like that's what this place is going for. The restaurant is in a great space (albeit cramped), has great character, and the passing St Charles streetcars add to the charm. Food is really nice.... More

We had a great dinner here last weekend. The cocktails (elderly mule) were delicious and we tried five of the small plates which were all enjoyed. The spaghetti was a standout though if one had to be picked. Restaurant had a wonderful ambiance.

After 2 years, we returned to New Orleans and had to re-visit Herbsaint. Donald Link is a magician in the kitchen. Everything we ordered was perfect. My only disappointment is that I can't dine here more often and try everything on the menu. Oh how I wish we lived in New Orleans. The spaghetti with guanciale and fried-poached egg is... More
