One of the best meals I have had in a long time. The Rabbit Fricase small plate was so good we ordered a second. There was four of us dining and we were all blown away. The duck confit was what I had, and loved it. Next trip to NOLA I will definitely be back.

This restaurant looks very posh and the food is excellent. My guest did not want to sit outside, which is a shame, so we sat indoors with a table with about half a foot gap to the tables either side of us. This meant that there was no privacy, which is ok if you are just out for a meal,... More

We ate on Saturday evening. Small plates were the way to go. The fried egg on the homemade spaghetti was a highlight. I had the poached tuna, awesome. We had room for the best dessert I had in New Orleans, a coconut custard pie thingy.

We decided to try Herbsaint after having great meals at Peche and Cochon during a previous trip to New Orleans. Overall, we had a good experience. The service was adequate, but not memorable. There were four of us which allowed us to taste a variety of food. The soup, gumbo, and salad were all good, but not great. The small... More

6 blocks off the French Quarter but worth the walk or $5.00 taxi ride. Almost a storefront setting, not ostentatious in the least, such that the hostess desk is little more than lectern at the door; all the more room for tables. Service is excellent/attentive, and there a fine wines for a reasonable price. Do not miss either the duck... More

My husband and I ate here because we had tried Peche and Cochon the nights before and liked them so much we thought we should try Herbsaint. It didn't disappoint. The Rabbit Fricassee was one of the best dishes I have had anywhere. My husband had the Butter Poached Gulf Tuna and the Ceviche and enjoyed them both. The wait... More

What can I say that hasn't been said before about this "nouveau" classic! My husband had eaten here a few times while in NO on business. He highly recommended it when my daughter and I were in town recently. I save it for our last night in town and he wasn't wrong. Our server was the best kind of pro... More

It was nice to try something I've not eaten with a twist. Our waitress explained the different options on the menu, and was very proud of thier restaurant which was encouraging. Wish I knew her name to give her the credit. We were new to New Orleans, so she gave us some good references to see.

They have excellent food, some of it seen only here in this city. I liked the specialty drinks and the feel of the restaurant. I also liked its sister place Cochon. A charming place although a little tight from too many tables.
