This restaurant came highly recommended which made the experience that much more disappointing... bottom line - four of 8 entrees went back to the kitchen, one to be reheated and 3 others to be replaced. Mushy shrimp with that "past prime" taste are scary and not acceptable anywhere, but certainly not from a restaurant of this level. But, they replaced... More

I loved this charming restaurant. Everything was perfect: the food, the cocktails, the crowd, the table outside and the creme brulee made with duck eggs, a must to taste! Go now!

Went on a Saturday night for a wedding anniversary dinner and was mostly pleased with the choice. While the restaurant was full of chatter so it wasn't exactly intimate, the waitstaff made us feel very welcome and constantly congratulated us on our special occasion. As for the food, it was excellent. I absolutely loved the gumbo. It was very smooth,... More

We made a reservation well in advance of our visit. When we arrived, staff tried to seat us in the bar at a table, no exaggeration, the size of a large dinner plate. Dining would have been impossible. Of course with asked for another table in the dining room. Food was OK, service OK, but for the expensive tariff there... More

The food was delicious so it is definitely worth going to this restaurant, especially if you are staying in the CBD. However, someone should tell those servers to act less bored and jaded. OK , we get that NOLA gets 16 million tourists a year but if you want good tips, act a bit more like you care, even if... More

Modern twist on vernacular Crescent City food, with fresh ingredients and unexpected flourishes. We enjoyed the duck and the steak of the day. Shrimp and crab ceviche starter had a kick to it. the butter poached tuna starter was terrific. Lively room but meal was well paced. Wine list was limited. The peanut and chocolate desert was both light and... More

I really like the corner location with the huge windows and bright dining room. The outdoor area looked great too. I opted for the bar which serves the full menu and was open without a reservation. It may have been different had I been at a table but the service just seemed awkward. The food was delivered without any explanation... More

I was traveling in NOLA for some time on business and kept finding myself returning to this restaurant. The food is absolutely delicious! I highly recommend their duck!

After being unable to secure a reservation at the much touted Herbsaint in the fall, I booked ahead in April to take our daughter out for a special meal. The place was busy as you would expect and , after ordering our drinks, we told the waiter that we wanted to enjoy a liesurely dinner and would start with a... More

Last year we dined at Herbsaint and it was amazing! This time so-so. I got the soft shell crab which was excellent but not served with a salad concoction. My husband ate the speckled trout with polenta which he loved. Place not as busy as last year this time. Will come back but not before trying other eateries first.
