Its not worth the high price tag. Mostly because in New Orleans there's plenty of amazing restaurants at a fraction of the cost of Nola. Also the waitress just stood next to our table waiting for us to finish so she could hand us the bill.

This was our first meal upon arrival to New Orleans. Yummy!!!! The cocktails were probably the best part of the meal. I had the NOLA Lemonade (dangerously good) and my husband had the NOLA Bloody Mary. I was surprised that they menu wasn't completely New Orleans inspired, but it did have a nice mix of Cajun food, American, and seafood....

We wanted to try one of Emeril's restaurants on our first trip to New Orleans and picked NOLA as it worked for our schedule and was just down the street from our hotel. Made the reservation through Open Table, and though it was pretty busy we were seated within a few minutes of our arrival. We were on the second...

I lived in New Orleans for 7 years and loved Emeril's original restaurant. Always wanted to try NOLA but never made reservations soon enough in advance. So when we walked in on a Friday night and got right in with no reservation I knew something must have changed.
The atmosphere of the restaurant is top notch. We had a table...

The upstairs tables are less noisy; however the wait staff was uneven, we were a party of 6 and started off with 2 or 3 waiters. During dinner we had trouble getting the attention of any of them; we had to share a wine list since we were told they couldn't find another one. One of our appetizers never made...

Absolutely incredible food. 6 people in our party tried a lot of food. It was all perfect. You really should try this restaurant if you visit New Orleans.
....unless you're going because of Emeril's affiliation and you want to impress your friends at home. Sorry folk, I grew up on French cuisine in Europe. Some of you will probably label me a food snob. Some will understand my meaning: there is something called "food culture". Nola is about as far removed from that concept as one can get....

Made reservations and ate here for lunch. My husband wasn't that hungry, so he had the barbequed shrimp appetizer. There were 5 shrimp in a brown bbq sauce with a little tiny biscuit. Not worth $12. I had the mussels with shoe string potatoes. There had to be a full pound of them and they were very good. I thought...

My husband and I recently had lunch at Nola's while in New Orleans for the French Quarter jazz fest. We had a reservation and were seated a little early. Service was solid although not outstanding. We started with the Miss Hay's Stuffed chicken wings which were outstanding! I definitely recommend! For my entree I had the duck confit and fried...

Just a warning to those interested in bringing children to NOLA, they aren't interested in you! Short on high chairs and charging $12 for a chicken tender kids meal says it all!
