So good it brought tears to my eyes!

I ordered the Grilled Scottish Salmon with extra virgin olive oil crushed Yukon gold potatoes, creme fraiche, salsa verde, crispy brussels sprouts and pickled peppers. Every bite melted in your mouth after the initial airy crunch. I had to ask my server Adrian to bring back the menu so that I... read more

Went here with a group of 6 on a Friday night for a late reservation. All of our food was very good - the shrimp and grits and gumbo particularly excellent - but the menu was not exactly what we were expecting. The restaurant was busy when we got there (9pm) but died down while we were eating for sure.... More

We visited this gorgeous restaurant for lunch with two couples when in New Orleans! Our expectations were high: we tried to get into Antoine's, but they were closed for a private function. We received a warm welcome at the front of house without a booking, and were swiftly taken up to the first floor in the elevator. A very trendy,... More

I expected an Emeril Lagasse to be very good, and I was not disappointed. I was in the mood for shrimp, so I had the bbq shrimp appetizer and the shrimp and grits entree. Both were unique and tasty. The service was also very good, though I expected the lunch service to be faster. I wouldn't hesitate to return.

My husband, myself, his employee/friend and his girlfriend wondered by Nola's Restaurant after trying to find another highly recommended restaurant, on Jan 8, 2016. A stranger standing outside highly recommended this restaurant to us. I have got to say, we could have passed it up. My husband and I shared the fried chicken. My husband said it was ok and... More

The food was good, but the service was more impressive. They were very attentive and helpful. Beautiful building with original brick. My gluten intolerant husband had a hard time finding something on the menu that he could have. He ended up with the steak, which he said was good, but would have preferred some seafood or a more local fare... More

4 of us just wanted to relax at the bar and Lisa, the bartender, was so very accommodating. We ordered 3 different appetizers and were not disappointed - stuffed chicken wings (how'd they do that???), bar-b-que shrimp (an Emeril recipe), and crab dip. We will visit here again next year!!!!

We had high expectations for dinner- we were wrong. The service was very poor. We could not get our waiter to stay at our table long enough to tell him what we wanted. I ordered the pork chop, it was a huge serving and not done in the middle. The bread is very good.

Staying in French Quarter

Neighborhood Profile
French Quarter
A small and teeming network of laissez-faire living lounged out on the balmy banks of the Mighty Mississippi, the French Quarter has long been a port of call for folks in search of a good time and a great story. Perpetually inebriated Bourbon Street runs across its midriff like a strand of cheap ribbon tied around an otherwise rather pretty and impressively well-kept vintage dress. Throughout the rest of the Quarter, brightly colored Victorian homes and businesses, famously done up with wrought-iron features, provide a distinct and immediately recognizable backdrop for all varieties of fun. At any given moment in this historic riverside setting, some of America’s finest meals are being cooked, most potent cocktails are being mixed, and most engaging music is being performed.
