Best mussels on the planet!

We had a large group for a special occasion and special it was! We started at the bar while we waited a short time for our table and the bartender, Laura, was the best! She was very friendly and knew how to make all the different cocktails we were ordering. The dinner was equally as good. I have... read more

I love cheese, which is how I discovered this place. Cheese plates and cheese fondue are fantastic. We love the mussels too and obviously the crepes (salmon was my favorite). I love to take the st Charles streetcar up to the Robert street stop then walk over. Staff is always great, wine is delicious, the vibe is funky and laid... More

This French bistro in uptown New Orleans is a local favorite, specializing in savory and dessert crepes, salads, mussels, and specials. It is VERY reasonable and fun and attractive.

For Father's Day I wanted to take my husband to a place he had never been. We had heard really good things ab out La Crepe Nanou, and what was heard was true. The french bread had a gold and crackly crust with a light and airy center. Loved the garlicky escargot and mussels. Lucky for us natives, we can get... More

This was my second time at this restaurant and it was every bit as wonderful as I remembered. The ambiance is very romantic, the art work/decor and limited number of tables adding to the vibe. All of the staff was knowledgeable and courteous in regard to both their menu and their city. Try the Moules Marinière --absolutely amazing!

We live a few blocks from here. We would go more often if it was easy to get a table. They do not take reservations. So your best bet is to arrive just before they open in the evening or go late. The food is delicious, and there are always a couple of specials. The food is French, prices reasonable,... More

We knew the restaurant didn't take reservations, so we decided to go on a day when we could get there before 6. We didn't make it and only got there around 6:45pm, but we were immediately seated. From what I observed, as long as you are in 2, you won't have to wait long time to get seated. If you... More

We had a variety of food such as lamb chops, crepes stuffed with crawfish, salad and cheese tray for the vegetarian. All was freshly prepared and tasted great. Everyone enjoyed their food. Highly recommend it.

Knowing how popular this place was, we went early - too early. It was a half hour before the place opened, so we left for a glass of wine elsewhere and returned in the nick of time. One of us had the special of the evening (mussels) which he claimed were superior. His wife and I both had good French... More

While visiting NO, local friends took us here. We loved it. We started with the Pommes frites with bernaise sauce - yum and I had the fish special with olives, capers and more. Really a wonderful combo of flavors. Everyone loved their dish and the service was spot on as well. If I lived in the area, I would return.
