Description: Margaritaville New Orleans – once a state of mind is now a state of being...
Margaritaville New Orleans – once a state of mind is now a state of being and a landmark in New Orleans’ French Market. Margaritaville embraces the mythical world defined by the insightful lyrics of singer/songwriter Jimmy Buffett for over three decades. Characters both local and from prose and poem create an entertaining atmosphere that brings to life the search for the legendary lost shaker of salt. From the Tire Swing Bar to the Deja Vu Dining Room, Margaritaville is a colorful tableau of New Orleans Culture and Buffett philosophy. The island-inspired menu offers something for everyone with American and regional favorites and, of course, signature Margaritas. The Storyville Tavern features free live music daily from 3pm.

Changes in Latitude, changes in attitude at Jimmy Buffet's Margaritaville

Margaritaville New Orleans is a fun place to eat - the atmosphere and music makes you feel like you are on an island or in Key West. Lots of great music if you are a Jimmy Buffet fan - an airplane coming through the wall and a pirate boat hanging from the ceiling you can go into and have a... read more

I have lived in New Orleans for 7 years and previously had good experiences at our local Margaritaville, those days are now in the past, at least as far as the food is concerned. I ordered the so called gator bites, there were exactly 4 pieces that were 3/4" long, everything else was this size of an M&M with a... More

My family and I recently visited this location while on vacation. I must say myself this experience was unforgettable. As soon as my family walked thru the door we were immediately embraced with a warm bubbly welcome from who I'm now going call the hostess with the mostest Dwayne. He was extremely happy to have us and was very knowledgeable... More

Let me start my saying that I am a HUGE Jimmy Buffet fan. I was excited to visit this restaurant while in New Orleans. We went for dinner on a Friday evening in December. We were walking there and the roads got darker and quieter the further we walked. The restaurant seems to be way down out of the French... More

Please don't go to a chain restaurant if you're in the French Quarter. This is a great place to go to if you're in the Keys or a big city without great food history.

Best Margaritaville I have been to (although Cozumel was also good) Food and service were very good, atmosphere was perfect, lots of Jimmy paraphernalia on the walls, singer in the bar area was great. Tire swings upstairs along with a JB shrine. Only problem... i collect green Margaritaville T-shirts and... More
