Description: Margaritaville New Orleans – once a state of mind is now a state of being...
Margaritaville New Orleans – once a state of mind is now a state of being and a landmark in New Orleans’ French Market. Margaritaville embraces the mythical world defined by the insightful lyrics of singer/songwriter Jimmy Buffett for over three decades. Characters both local and from prose and poem create an entertaining atmosphere that brings to life the search for the legendary lost shaker of salt. From the Tire Swing Bar to the Deja Vu Dining Room, Margaritaville is a colorful tableau of New Orleans Culture and Buffett philosophy. The island-inspired menu offers something for everyone with American and regional favorites and, of course, signature Margaritas. The Storyville Tavern features free live music daily from 3pm.

Gotta go to Margaritaville

I've now been to Margaritaville in 4 cities. I like it, it's fun. Touring New Orleans is thirsty work, so we needed to stop for some refreshment. Good drinks, not that expensive compared with some of the other places we visited in New Orleans. Very nice friendly bar tender too.

My host was DWayne and server was Kenya. They were very friendly and patient with us. The live band was fun and the food was simply amazing. The drinks are delicious with a kick! Best Sangria I ever had.

Visited 2 times during our stay in the French Quarter. Every person we talked to during the visits was happy and very welcoming. During the 2nd visit sat on the 2nd floor balcony to watch the St. Patrick's parade. The balcony filled quickly and appeared to overwhelm the 2 wait staff folks. They totally appeared to keep things together and... More

So don't let me husband see this but the guitarist/singer was delicious. You know what's up ladies. I went here recently with Jt husband and we listened to the singer/ guitar player for a while and he was really good. We had happy hour cheap food, which was amazing. $5 for a huge hotdog and fries. And our bartender, Maureen,... More

The server was rude and acted like she didn't want to be at work. While taking orders you could hear her talking about the other customers because they asked her a question. I didn't care for the attitude when I was spending my money. I would never stop here again.

This location isn't up to par versus other Margaritaville locations I've visited, such as Orlando and Vegas. In the past, this location was fine. Upon this visit, the service was very slow on what was not a very busy night. Also, there was NO MUSIC....the place is named after a song and yet they had all TV's muted and no... More

Stopped in for a couple margaritas in the middle of the day & received great tasting margaritas and excellent bartender service with a smile! :) Kenya was our bartender & was very friendly and down to earth. Kenya - I hope you're reading this - it's the two blonde girls from DC area "on fleek" & I'm the one who... More

So after our last visit we didn't think we would be coming back but my wife insisted. Our waitress/bartender, Maureen, was the absolute best we've had in New Orleans in all of our trips here. She was very fast with getting our drinks to us, which were delicious btw, even while it was pretty busy in there. She definitely knows... More

After three weeks in New Orleans, it's perhaps hard to be impressed by good food. Basically, service and food were fine but not outstanding for the area. Colorful decor, clean, prices typical, but nothing to make us choose this restaurant over its neighbors.
