Very satisfied

A great Italian place in the French Quarter. Ambiance is great, loved the cosiness and decor. Prices reasonable and the food plentiful. The house dressing is tasty, try it. The salad coMes with a slice of white pizza, a nice touch. The bruschetta was unusual, great flavor. Hubby had the spinach... read more

New Orleans was proving brilliant but we needed a break from the heaviness of the soul food we'd been generally enjoying. Mona Lisa was perfect. Good side salads and excellent linguini, mine with shrimps in a lemon sauce, my wife's the primavera - linguini with a lemon sauce and lots of fresh vegetables dotted throughout it. The atmosphere was great,... More

There's better pizza, but this is good pizza. And the service is solid and unhurried, and the atmosphere is pleasant. This is a nice spot to get away from the nutcases wondering the Quarter. Prices are quite reasonable, and if you want to have a conversation, you can actually hear each other.

We live in the neighborhood and decided to order in (something we never do!). First, we telephoned the QuarterMaster deli to place an order, but the person who answered the call was so obnoxious, we decided to move on. So, we called Mona Lisa. The person who answered the call there was super sweet and efficient. The pizza came in... More

Finished off Mardi Gras with a huge meal. Had to wait awhile for a table, but that was to be expected being Mardi Gras. The portions were large and the food was very good. I'm certain I left my camera on the table but no one turned it in to management.

I just came back from my very first trip to NOLA one that will be followed by many subsequent visits. The first night I arrived I had to meet up with my friend whom is the reason I ended up travelling down to NOLA. As I am an adventurous traveler I don't shy away from hitting the pavement with my... After all the fine dining and drink all over the Quarter during mardi Gras, we just wanted some comfort food and simple dining. We stayed on Royal street and realized we didnt make a reservation on Valentines day for the evening ( we had a fab lunch earlier), since we were heading to the Endymion parade. So after being invited... More

Went out to dinner with a small group while in NOLA on a business trip! One of the members of our group recommended Mona Lisa's since it would provide a taste of something different. Small, quaint little cafe, nothing fancy, but the food was excellent! Plus, al of the unique drawings of Mona Lisa make for interesting conversation while you... More

Everytime we go to New Orleans we have to go to Mona Lisa restaurant. The food is always great and service is friendly. We have had the pizza, several pasta dishes. It's all very good. Would recommend this to anyone.

The drawings of Mona Lisa by the restaurant patrons was interesting. The ranged from kids’ crayon sketches to various styles of adult renditions. The pizza was okay, but not remarkable. If you have kids that like to draw, take them there and let them try their skill.
